Why the hell is Jonathan - the president going to Ciroma to discuss anything ? If there is a discussion to be held, Ciroma should come to Jonathan. on top of that, its the same Ciroma that has insulted jonathans administration tons of times yet he seeks peace with them. Jonathan is just Licking anybodies backside to stay in presidency. |
Rita is a hot young lady who's unfortunate not to be educated like you posters, but that doesn't mean she'd any less a person. Any of you guys will sell your d*** to have a girlfriend or sister like her ![]() |
How come Kano has the most registered ? I thought most of our countries population was in the south and south-west ? |
We black people in sub saharan africa are peace loving people thats why we dont do revolution instead look for better means to get rid of our most evil leaders. This Gaddafi guy was once laughing at Nigeria and saying that our country should be divided-up due to christain and Moslem fighting in jos. But today our people go about their life peacefully but his country is in tumoil with revolution and killing and people cursing him out. So which country is the laughing-stock now ? , Mmm? |
So the governor has no powers in his own state |
The fact is that the police only get insulted when the sieze money, stop ya car or arrest without good reason. and even-so, people do it secretly not insulting them to their face. But PHCN gets insulted everytime they take light or power goes off, so they have to be the most insulted. |
Why is he fighting to remain ruler of Egypt ? He could buy a super sized island somewhere, pay and import people to become citizens, start a new currency with his face on it and appoint himself - forever president of the federal republic of Mubarak. |
My people suffer for lack of knowledge. the Egyptians set an example by taking the fate of their country into there hands. Nigerians choose not to hence deserve to carry-on suffering. Even those who choose to act by turning to an open life of crime, focus on the innocent public instead of the rich looters. |
Nigeria is not doing so badly cause justice is on its way - see link here : http://www.channelstv.com/global/news_details.php?nid=25837&cat=Local At last some serious justice for the police officers killing innocent Nigerians over N20 at checkpoints death is now to catch up with them too. |
He's not that old. He should find a new girl who's not so much about money, and keep searching for work himself. His problem is not so bad. Many young nigerian guys suffer worse combination of problems |
Jonathan is "loosing-title" majorly - with all these fake promises everywhere. he should just thank God that all the opposition for april election are non-serious about dethroning PDP, because he's showing his got nothing to offer. |
Considering the way the government neglect the need of the people and instead squanders the resources, I wont blame anyone who decides that leaving abroad is the way out of the suffering, But the blame also goes to those Nigerians abroad who when visiting home, tend to glorify the white mans land and pretend to be leaving large as they create a false scenario that life's easy over here in the west. like the the naija artist: Sound Sultan says: "I rather be like a lion in the Jungle (naija) than to live like a toy in the city (oyibo land)" |
Google's CHROME reigns supreme |
You will hardly see a Moslem return such a favour. Most of them pretend to be peacefull people but are actually murderous folks. Both the Bible and Koran preach peace and love to your fellow man, but its only the christians that make effort to practice it. Allah forgive all fake Moslems who sin in the name of their holy book. There own version of hell is waiting for them. |
This story is inspired by Atiku's group to influence the mind of nigerians |
The poster is supposed to start by telling us his own story |
She is wrong to say "it will haunt Nigerian women" The comment is too general, afterall not all Nigerian women are delegates, and it was not a general election but a pdp primary where few nigerian women have a part to play, |
This today only exist to boost businesses yearly profits in the cards and gift packaging industries, amongst others |
I have been using bankPHB from the Uk, for over 2 years. have been operating my NIDA account via internet banking and it works like any foreign bank I know. Though I have never been able to use their easyRemit to transfer money home. The last time I tested it with just £20, the money vanished and never reached my other BankPHB (naira) account. Their Nida staff Edith Okobi and Oluchi Uwandu are very good at what they do and are directly in touch regarding my account operations. Although the staff at branch the Nwaga branch in PH are realy useless. On 2 occasions while in naija I have tried to carry out transaction in their branch and they are very unreliable and keep acting as if they are doing you a favour to attend to you. Overall I do see small efforts from them to improve services but they need to do more. |
I like the way they keep the fighting, rioting and events in Jos to the north only. At least they do show some respect cause the day they bring it south-wards will be the day they get wiped-out. As our own Boko-haram (The militant-thugs of Niger delta with their full military amunitions) are on stand-by to deal with the northern fools who want to impose themselves on others else cause war. |
I know the debate is about "Battle of the campaigners" but I want to draw attention to posters here refering to "corruption" as the core of Nigerias problems and that wiping out corruption is the starting point to fixing Nigeria. Although corruption may be a core issue, fixing wont automatically fix our problems. How do you fix Nigeria's corruption problem when it exists even down to the common garri seller in the market. Arresting and jailing culprits will leed no where (The EFCC has been making efforts for over 2 years now) Our corruption case is cursed by poverty and and greed as well as the need for survival and lack of a source of income, Which all boils down to the availability of Jobs. For jobs to be created we need the enabling environment for businesses to thrive and a starting point for that will be the Power problem. This I will say is the pathway to fixing Nigeria. Not Corruption, health, The roads, education, or even the government. The one core issue that is interlinked to almost every other problem Nigerians suffer from today is the lack of (at least) near-stable Power supply. So in essence, I will say Jonathan is a promising leader. He has started the Road-map to privatising Nigerias power supply and deserves the time to explore what changes this can bring to Nigeria. People are posting that Buhari and Ribadu possess the willfull power to fight corruption. But this is not what its all about. In conclusion : I will boldly state that It is impossible to eradicate Nigerias corruption problem but it is possible to reduce and control it by fixing other problems starting with power supply (which in my opinion should be the easiest to fix) |
Pity for all those fotos of motorcycle and keke wedding, because people are poor that doesnt meant they should not get married. Even if na trek them go trek from church, heaven go still bless them holy matrimony |
People are refering to the huge amount of money handed to INEC for the election. You guys are forgetting that in Nigeria, huge amount of money never results in a job being done properly, or required resources being provided, or infrastructure being put in place. Even if Jega's finance director hands down the required cash for logistics etc to the state INEC divisions, by the time the INEC chairmen and staff across the country finish tearing themselves apart for the funds, there will be nothing left to pay or facilitate a good voters registeration exercise. That is our beloved Nigeria for you. The same process goes for road contracts, power rehabilitations and every other funds provided by the government for ANYTHING in Nigeria. Thats why every year a new billion naira budget is announced and handed-out, and every year we find our self at the same place. Lets pray for a saviour, come April 2011 |
God protect Nigeria from the kind of candidates aiming for presidency. First Babangida, then Atiku and now Buhari's, each with there individual evil plans to impose on an innocent population. May Jonathan succeed in snatching the power away from them come April. |
About Ribadu and Jonathan: Nigeria is not an easy country to rule, considering the level of corruption and enemies of progress who vandalise infrastructures and try to profit from our government at every chance. So even the most honest and hard-working leader will find it tough to move Nigeria 1 inch forward within a year. For this reason I have nothing against GEJ. At least he's claim to have stabilized fuel supply proves to be true. so to me he isnt doing too bad. Ribadu: Is an honest an patriotic Nigerian who has proven not to be corrupt like the others. I think the fact that he makes a good crime fighter (In former EFCC) doesn't necessarily mean he would be a strong will-full leader. He doesn't show all the characteristics. But who knows, maybe he will develop the other leadership qualities. My vote will go to one of these two but i'm still deciding. |
How many senators are there in total (in naija) ? |

I hope naija papers will carry large images of Atikus face (in a few days time) showing his emotions & expressions after he finds out that he has lost the PDP primaries. |
I have been trying to follow the advice here to determine the best Nigerian bank for reliability and customer service for my future transactions (As i dont currently reside in Naija, but coming home soon) and all the advice I am getting here is instead getting me more confused and moving from one bank website to another bank website like a headless chicken. WHICH BANKs are TRULY THE BETTER or BEST ones ?!? ![]() Anyway, from what I have read so far, it seems like problems with any individual bank are not across all its branches. Example An Abeokuta branch of the GTB bank can be very poor with services long cues and rude attendants, while a Port harcourt branch of the same GTB bank will be scouring high marks for services. So my conclusion on you nairaland posters: There is no Nigerian bank that is bad across the country, some branches of any bank may be poor while others of the same bank are top performers. I think I may settle for BankPHB for now while watching GTB and First bank standards ![]() |
