Isn't it rather preposterous that at this turn in the century, our so called tertiary institutions are still bombarding our poor youths with junks they call education? When other serious nations with clear-sighted and smart leaders are busy equipping their own youths with relevant ideas and relevant skills in their quest to creating the future and changing our world, ours have decided to continue to play possum with the destiny of our youths and the future of our country. Imaging that at this time, our institutions still compel students to study dead-junk theories that have since lost absolute relevance in our contemporary world and thereby keep breeding mediocres and completely useless and societally irrelevant youths with nothing at all to offer in the process! They keep recycling these junks year in and out and it's as if no one cares. Really?? In this age?? When others are talking about AI, virtual reality, augmented reality, nanotechnology, and the likes? Are we for REAL??
Well, I am of the opinion that instead of the nonsense we keep wasting our youths' time and mental energy with, here(among others not listed) are some of the essential studies we should be emphasizing..

¬Public speaking
¬Computer programming
¬Investing
¬Selling and business management
¬Emotional intelligence
¬Public governance
¬Interpersonal relations
¬Content writing and development
¬Emotional and Social intelligence etc..
Now these are my opinions and as such are subject to criticism. So feel free to fault the ideas if you wish. schools don't make people rich, was never meant to. You make it sound like schooling and education are at loggerheads. The school by its very nature was designed to facilitate education, it was designed to systemize education, organize it, except of course the topic is about Nigerian schools were this have been compromised.

Yes it is!

The challenge for most people is that they don't know that there is a difference between secular things and worldly things. Yes many stuff that are secular are also wordly in the sense that they glorify material things and are ungodly. But if u watch normal movies (that have no spiritual connection but are also not immoral) such as black panter, etc and u are involved in politics, and u listen to news and you wear clothes and u go to work u are doing secular things and as such it will be hypocritical of u to criticize anyone listening to secular music which although are not connected to God or spirituality directly but are completely devoid of immoral things like love 4 money, illicit sex etc
