cstr1000: I apologize. I actually don't means any disrespect. But we can't shy away from the truth here. Many times we hear about how anioma is parasitiing on Delta south, that is disrespect on its own. Why should anyone talk about relocating the capital to Warri? Is Asaba not in Delta or are the people there not Deltans.? The disrespect goes both ways. Nobody is asking for the relocation of the state capital to warri, warri can NEVER be a capital due to ethnic tension in that area our best bet will be obiarukwu or oleh , asaba is just too far that was why they had to build a complex in warri. The state Capital is not the problem , the problem is that we have bad leaders who never stop looting , this is not limited to Delta alone, in fact the entire Nation is cursed with bad leaders. They should stop distracting us with this bs. |

Just as you have provided facts to back up your statements , I have seen that its truly a dialect of Yoruba ( albeit with some urhobo ,Bini and Portuguese influence ).
I was only asking you if u were fluent in itsekiri because I wanted to find out if you and an ilaje person could communicate without hindrance.
And I asked about " old Yoruba " because I have come across it many times online.
Itsekiri is certainly a Yoruba dialect
*****drops mic **** if an ilaje man cannot communicate with itsekiri, then I doubt if that person is really from ilaje, ilaje shares a lot with itsekiri due to closeness and the rest. The ilajes are greatly influenced by Edo, it is safe to say that from Lagos to ondo to Delta are edo stronghold . |

Answer this question, are Aba-made products low quality? oshare relax your mind, am not here to argue much, are Nigeria rice not of low quality compare to the imported rice?. Webmasters › Re: What Ad Network Is The Best To Monitize A Blog by Efewestern: 10:01am On Nov 09, 2017 |
Sanchez01: CPM (Cost Per Mille/Thousand) is what is often mentioned when Propeller ads come up and that is about $0.35 to $0.60.
However, this depends on factors such as;
– Geo location of your traffic – Quality of traffic – Ad fill rate
Never tried mgid and content ads before. What's their CPC and CPM like? mgid is base on cpc and they pay about $0.05-0.09 per click, depending on your location. stopped using content ads a long time, but they pay well, depending on the ads type, ads with content rated 18 pays higher. propeller ads will only pay you $0.60 for u. s traffic, tried exoclick some time back, but they pay peanut. |
Webmasters › Re: What Ad Network Is The Best To Monitize A Blog by Efewestern: 8:59am On Nov 09, 2017 |

Izuogu1: i don't agree to your point. The dude is right.. Convince us more I don't need to proof anything to you, the average igbo ,Yoruba, ijaw, Hausa etc are not my problem, they are not the reason my state & country is underdeveloped. they're not the reason why police keeps collecting bribe. We have a bad system, even if you split Nigeria into 100, the same people we have ruling us now will be the same criminals ruling then. so I see no reason why we should blame our problem on diverse ethnic group . Bayelsa state for example is 98% ijaw, about 1-2% urhobos, just tell me any meaningful thin in that state, even with her huge revenue allocation, a state with a population less than 2million ? Another example is Lagos state, forget all those rubish you read online, Lagos is a big slum, even with all her potentials what have they done with it?, instead we have the likes of tinubu ruling the state indirectly. is Lagos not 99% Yoruba? Our problem is corruption, criminals, looters, deal with that and 90% of our problem is solved. |

She was even driving herself although she is a firstlady, without long convoy of all security agencies, retinue of aids, female party members and representatives of the media. you are not making sense with the bolded , different ethnic groups been together is not the root cause of our problem, even among states shared by one ethnic group we still have lawless governors, Rep, chairman etc. The problem with Nigeria is not her diverse ethnic groups, but the corrupt people, people who loot without looking back, people who feels they are greater than the law because the hold some little position, split Nigeria into 9 country, that won't solve the issue on ground, we need to tell ourselves the truth. We are our problem. |

I see no reason why a political party cannot just come out and admit they deceived the masses who trusted them. This government's hide and seek would lead desperate Nigerians into voting a wrong fellow come 2019. As it stands, anything but Buhari, APC and the PDP.

Sanchez01: Kinda. It is deeply rooted into tradition and is often triggered mostly among those whose traditional rites were properly done like it should.
Just Efe mentioned, it is fast thinning out, all thanks to the way and manner most Urhobo men and women get married.
Regardless, it is still in existence. I witnessed a very strong attack on a family about three years ago just because her lover gave her some money which she used in cooking for the family. This one the gods of the land must take action. cooking for your family with a lovers money is a big taboo in urhobo land, It also affects the man financial status. |
Family › Re: Uhrobo Wa Do. by Efewestern: 12:06pm On Oct 30, 2017 |
Sanchez01: Not the woman per se. A married Urhobo woman who commits adultery automatically ruins her life and her home. Her children would die one after the other till there is none and then moves on to the husband before it gets to her.
The other part of your assertion is strange. this tradition no longer holds, as I have see many women cheating on their husband in my area. With an exception to those core traditionalist urhobos. mess with them, u mess with the gods. |

ogoloray: hello everyone...
I am a 26 yr old guy, and i'm not writing this thread in a bid to get any attention, but rather because its actually happening to me, and i have tried my best in so many ways to over-come this nasty addiction that has been eating at me for years....
I started masturbating at the age of 14, a habit that i picked up from a fellow student in boarding school. The habit actually started-off as a fun thing, but as i grew older, it started getting worse, worse in the sense that i moved from jerking off once a day to several times daily.
This has been going on since i was 14, but it never gave me any real concern because i was so young and naive, and also because i enjoyed it, and it never did cost me anything, unlike gambling, or smoking, or alcoholism, until i became 21.
At 21, I started noticing that my addiction was affecting my sexuality in more ways than i can count, it was even interfering with my sleep patterns. Infact the addiction became far more difficult to control, because i now had the internet at my disposal and also an extra addiction to porn which tripled my problem.
I have fasted and prayed, i have even put shame away and discussed it with a pastor, i have also tried out different rehabilitation programmes i found on youtube. But yet, i cannot seem to keep my hand away from my manliness.
I am confused, and in desperate need of help, because i cannot keep living this way.
Will appreciate any advice i can get.
thanks dude go get a girl, the only way out is you having a girl, try have regular sex with her. Try not to be alone, engage yourself. |
