^ Yeah you've got the idea now. The SW is the "bride" but do not underestimate GEJ in NC and parts of NE also. |
PapaBrowne:I wonder o! Even good companies pay their hardworking staff bonuses (in addition to their salary) for doing their job. |

Abeg, clap for this man. Leadership by example.

JaaizTech:This is not a question of people's mind changing. People have made up their minds to vote GEJ even before this extra achievement. Let the final results come out. Compare the total votes cast and spread for each party after that, you can start crying. The presidential election is about votes and spread. PDP is the most visible party in the nation. They have competed everywhere and emerged either as 1st or second. Even without adding the votes from other associated parties, PDP has the highest votes cast. Enjoy this special number as you wait for the final result :[flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpZdfA78crM?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"[/flash] |
Yeah yeah, as usual when they lose, they come up with some stupid excuse. Just like Buhari will say "It was rigged". |
Most of these propagandists have no idea about how business is done in the downstream oil sector. The worst part is names like Conoil, Total, Sahara, Oando, African Petroleum and Mobil were mentioned. These tomato sellers do not know what they are talking about. hahahahahahaha www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
Keep Faith With One Nigeria by Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 7:59am. http://www.facebook.com/#!/notes/goodluck-jonathan/keep-faith-with-one-nigeria/210731088954534 My fellow Nigerians, When I assumed office as the President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 6th of May, 2010, I promised Nigerians I would focus attention on three key areas-a. Electoral Reform, b. Energy Security in the Niger Delta and c. Electricity Generation-The three Es. In the Niger Delta we now have peace leading to a 20% increase in Nigeria's oil production. On Electricity Generation, we now generate power at our highest level in 10 years. And on Electoral Reform, yesterday you saw the beginning of a free, fair and credible electoral process. I, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, purposely made a conscious decision to break with the past and use the powers of the office of the President consistently for the good of the Nigerian people and not the power elite. In eleven months I have with the help of God kept faith with the Nigerian people especially in the areas I promised to give attention to and now I ask that you keep faith with one Nigeria. Cheap propaganda. The woman is delivering visible results and people just want to smear her name. I guess those animals that have been fighting against energy and power sector reforms are behind all these crap. She is strictly professional and will not be involved with such. I see this Odumakin guy is aligning behind these anti-reform elements. We need to be watchful. Time will tell |

Fashola is a brand on his own (with or without Tinubu). Quote me anywhere. Fashola can win an election (free and fair) in Lagos without Tinubu. If Tinubu turns his back on Fashola today, Tinubu will come crashing down. Many Lagosians even bear with Tinubu because of Fashola. We know Tinubu is far stronger in politics but Fashola has carved a niche for himself in Lagos. That is one reason why Tinubu will not turn his back on him. |
I like a part of the last statement you made. I think we should place more emphasis on "making him work for his money" rather than writing him off completely. We need to put him on his toes. That is great. I am very much in support of a strong opposition as against single party dominance. I believe GEJ will perform better with a stronger parliament. He has already shown us that he can actually deliver. |
Judging from the results so far, I foresee that GEJ will enjoy massive support throughout the South West. ACN will also get a huge chunk of votes as expected. My reasons: GEJ: The good people of the SW appreciate good performance when they see it. GEJ also played a very strong card in the SW. You will see the effect of this card he played in the results. He has reached out to a lot of people with this particular card. ACN: The SW is the stronghold of ACN. The ACN loyalists will want to cast their votes for ACN in order to show their political muscle. This is very important because, it sends a message about the strength of the party. Winning the election may not always be the only objective. However, if Buhari steps down, ACN will tighten its grip. [flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYf-ibDOEDQ?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"[/flash] |

GEJ will do very well with the new mix of Parliamentarians. The haters are in for a surprise from Goodluck. This will make him shine brighter. Also, the successful conduct of the election will give him a huge boost in the presidential election. Many more well meaning Nigerians will support GEJ as a result. The fact that there were challenges doesn't mean he does not deserve commendation. GEJ cannot be crucified for the acts of criminals who are out to cause trouble. The security agents were able to control these criminals to a large extent. As "perfect" as USA is, there are still murders and all manner of crime. As "perfect" as USA is, terrorists were still able to crash several planes into the WTC and Pentagon!!! Those bomb blasts were unfortunate and it affects us all. We cannot dump all the blame on GEJ. Those criminals are also Nigerians. The military and police were given the full authority to act. A shoot-at-sight order was also given. What better show of commitment than that? There were many other attempts that were foiled. It is a huge challenge and we have to see it as our problem and not GEJ's problem. If a thief breaks into a house to rob, will you blame the father of the house? Of course not. The father of the house was also robbed. Bottomline is, he has proven that he is not the "promise-and-fail" type that many mischievous people have branded him as. Of course he has not scored 100% but deep down we all know the conduct of yesterday's election was far better than the previous ones. Let's not allow partisanship blind us from acknowledging good things. Visit GEJ's facebook page and hear from other real Nigerians. More people agree that indeed there was improved transparency in the process. Some others including very obvious haters have also gone the way of insulting the man. See the comments on his facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/notes/goodluck-jonathan/keep-faith-with-one-nigeria/210731088954534 [flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpZdfA78crM?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"[/flash] |
Thirded ![]() |
"Oprah Winfrey is deluded" says efisher ![]() |
There are none so blind as those who will not see! Even if GEJ converts Nigeria into USA overnight, some folks will still not acknowledge his achievements. That is the true definition of HATERS!!! Let's wait for the results and then we can score him properly. I expect even the haters to be honest enough at that time. |
^ Zoning is a very delicate issue. Within the party, it is a way to keep the sanity of members in tact. This is because, tribalism and religion are very strong factors in Nigerian politics. PDP for example may have had an easier ride if it stuck with the zoning arrangement for 2011 (but not with people like Atiku). However, outside the party, zoning breaks down completely. That's the limit. It cannot be controlled or enforced. |
