He failed the elections woefully and blamed it on rigging while people like Oshiomhole went to the same courts and came out victorious. The man needs to humble himself and learn from people who have succeeded in doing those things he couldn't do.

* He needs to learn how to lead in both civilian and military regimes from OBJ.
* He needs to learn how to win a court case from Oshiomhole (that is after learning how to win an election in the first place)
* He needs to learn how to pick a VP from GEJ or Ribadu
* He needs to learn how to support a promising candidate from Wole Soyinka
* He needs to learn how to step down from Pat Utomi
* He needs to learn how to debate from Shekerau
* He needs to learn Economics 101 from Fashola

Unfortunately he is too old to learn and unwilling to change.

Buhari is good at one thing: Failing and making flimsy excuses for his failures.

Olokode, you made a very strong point there. Buhari has always shown that he lacks the capacity to make the right decisions. He doesn't have the right tools either. Beheading the man with a headache is a very good analogy.

Like it or not, Buhari needs to sit back and learn from his fellow "role models" and  "mentors". As it is, IBB and OBJ are smarter men than Buhari. The others know when to draw the sword. Buhari does not! And that is why he has always been the loser. He is like an old man playing in the sand with little children. This time, he will get plenty of sand in his eyes.

My signature is not enough for you to make that conclusion. I have a different ideology. Read through my posts and pick it out. The summary is this: I support a stable and sustainable leadership. I believe either of Ribadu/Adeola or GEJ/Sambo can give us that. I chose to support GEJ for 2011 for some very sensitive reasons. Nigeria remains a very delicate country and certain decisions must be made for her to move forward as one country. I do not mind if Ribadu gets the job but i prefer that to happen in 2015.

I do not expect you to change your opinion but I know someone will read what I am writing and get the essence of the message. We cannot recycle something out of nothing. It is time to make a clean break from the past and move ahead. Let's end this perambulation and leave the wild wild dreams these folks are presenting to us. We should face the real issues and leave fantasies behind.

You carefully dodged the human rights part and jumped on the economy. Well I'll spare that and play along. On the economy, Buhari failed woefully and remember that it isn't only the "white man" who said so. Watch the video again. From 1:06 to 1:20 Brig Gen Joshua Dogonyaro (a "black Nigerian"!) also commented on the government's economic perambulation. One thing is sure; you cannot change history. It is written all over the history books and in the minds of those who witnessed the Buhari era. Buhari is a mirage and he has nothing else to give Nigerians. He is EMPTY and EXPIRED. His ways are outdated and ineffective. His VP is as inconsistent as a reed. Theirs is a failed team. The good thing is many other well meaning Nigerians KNOW so too.

Quit wiping the man's economic back-side! He made a mess of himself and the mess has dried up hard on his skin over the years. No amount of bleach can wash off the history. He goofed and should not be given the opportunity to do same with our economy once more. We need to make a clean break from this perambulation and move forward.
