My attention has been drawn to the claim, which started first as an April Fool joke yesterday, and has now made viral by opposition CPC members, that I have stepped down for General Muhammadu Buhari in what is termed a consensus arrangement.

First, I must clarify for my teeming supporters, our ever progressive ACN party members, and the millions of young people of this country who have trained their sights toward, and have sacrificed so much for a better Nigeria, that this is wicked falsehood, and a piece of mindless propaganda.

I have not and could never betray the confidence of Nigerians by trading my candidacy for any other person. So this claim remains a lie and a poor attempt to manipulate the electorates to seek cheap victory.

Secondly, I want to stress the point that this cheap scheme is deliberately calculated to abort our democratic march through manipulation, and through the hijack of our right to electoral choice, a central value of a true democracy.

To all the architects of this devilish scheme, therefore, I have a simple message: that their electoral manipulation only goes to feed into the machinations of the same forces of misrule and darkness that have kept our nation down for the past two decades. If it is not clear to them that they are in bed with the PDP, Nigerians are finally getting to know now whose interest they are working to advance.

Lemme break it down- Abacha loots millions. Buhari collects millions for his campaign.  Nigeria is a country of give and take. Abacha's son wants to contest under CPC. Buhari considering the favours received should hold Abacha's hand high in the air and endorse him so his monetary favours dont stop coming in. Buhari @ the risk of being called undemocratic tried fighting the Abacha candidacy.
Instead, Buhari put his presidential ambition @ risk by fighting Abacha. Buhari risked Abacha spilling how all that stolen money was according to your warped logic used to fund his campaign and , bla bla.  Buhari put his Integrity ahead of his ambition. A party @ war with itself? Gbenga Daniel, Obasanjo, ring a bell? Two different houses in the same state. Two different candidates for the same Party. Oh how blessed we are to have the PDP in our midst, which other party in Nigeria can lay claim to such a triumphant coexistence. SMH

Inclusive ke, are we discussing the PDP of Nigeria? Because last i heard the PDP of Nigeria is solely a Godfather bring pikin party.I can say "You cannot separate Buhari and CPC"! without fear for Buhari.
But in some places saying "You cannot separate GEJ and PDP"! would mean GEJ should be arrested. That is how awful the PDP is, associating anything with the PDP is reason enough to reject that thing in these places . . . and really i wouldn't blame those places considering what the PDP has done to this country.
