Learn from those who speak in numbers: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-628352.0.html Be sure to follow the analysis from the first page to the last. The model has gone through various checks and balances from both Buhari, Ribadu and GEJ fans. Feel free to make your own input (in numbers). You can download the excel file from this post: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-628352.32.html#msg7990972 Feel free to play with the numbers and tell us your result afterwards. |

It's all part of the plan. Everybody has to play the game. ![]() |
Why does it hurt you so bad? You should have expressed the same thoughts on the other thread. Lol www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6

Buhari, Abacha and CPC are inseparable as far as 2011 elections are concerned. Buhari is an Abacha apologist, CPC is built on pro-Abacha ideologies and with Abacha loot! If we decide to vote based on the party, it is clear that CPC is one of worst parties to place the future of our dear country on. Buhari has always worked for and defended Abacha. He claimed Abacha cannot to accused of stealing. Today, his party has presented Abacha's son as its governorship candidate. He claims he doesnt support the Mohammed Abacha candidature yet the elections are upon us already. CPC is home to notorious individuals who were expelled from PDP and every other party. Hungry politicians waiting for a turn to get back at their rivals. How can we then give our mandate to a man who belongs to a party that is at war with itself? How can we give our mandate to a man who will fight corruption selectively? Recall the Yar'Adua case. Imagine for one minute it happens again with Buhari, will CPC be robust enough to handle such? How will it deal with such a situation. PDP has a lot of experience and is the most inclusive party in Nigeria today. PDP gives even the minority the opportunity to be accepted by the majority. PDP is the most resilient party on ground. PDP also has its own problems just as every other party does. We stand to gain more from a stable, reforming party like PDP or a Growing, efficient party like ACN than an unstable party with a weak and rotten foundation like CPC. This is a response to the thread "You cannot separate GEJ and PDP"! |
Read what real Nigerians with real faces have to tell GEJ on facebook. ![]() http://www.facebook.com/#!/jonathangoodluck/posts/178147318902317 This is the Nigerian Obama. |
madejibo:Even Bakare has a different view: "The greatest danger to democracy today is not the PDP; it is somewhere located in the South West," - Bakare https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-625435.0.html bababuff:Gbam! Does this ring a bell? "I am ready to die for Nigeria" - OBJ https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-632680.0.html OBJ don dey laff again o. |
Let me give you a bad advice: GO FOR IT. Let any of them step down. (That will mark the end of the party that steps down, and give GEJ a smoother ride). ![]() |
Seconded. That was the agreement before the election. People should be ready to take pictures and make videos of the process. At least the police has accepted that mobile phones can be used to monitor elections. That will prove the credibility or "incredibility" of the process. ![]() |
GEJ does not need rigging to win. He will win in a perfectly free and fair election. GEJ has support and structures in every nook and cranny of this nation. The NW and NE is not entirely Buhari's because there are millions of people who will gain from or prefer a PDP win. Remember that not everyone who wears a kaftan is an Hausa man. Remember also that PDP has candidates whose political future relies on the GEJ presidency. Buhari has substantial support ONLY in the North. Buhari does not even have the structure to rake in enough harvest from the North. GEJ has a good support in the SW where Buhari has extremely little. GEJ has a significant support in NC as well as Buhari. GEJ is virtually unopposed in SS and extremely strong in SE. Everywhere you turn, there will be millions of GEJ votes. It takes more than just crowds to win an election. We should be ready to accept the huge margin when the results are out. |
GEJ is not begging for votes, he is only being a wise politician and increasing his margin at the same time. It is a game of interests. Such a move can be targeted to frustrate any "alliance" efforts. PDP does not need ACN to win the election. Even if PDP offers ACN a deal, it will be in the spirit of "sportsmanship". Such moves also help to reduce post-election tension. |
Ribadu himself has served in a PDP led government. He has a "soft spot" for PDP. |
@Blazing, Buhari can get admiration and respect but that is where it ends. He doesn't need power. There is no hope in the past, hope lies in the future not in the past. |
To BB fans who say PDP is our greatest problem, here is what one of your ogas said: ![]() "The greatest danger to democracy today is not the PDP; it is somewhere located in the South West," - Bakare https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-625435.0.html |
PDP remains the only party that has proven itself to have national interest. Everybody has something to gain from a PDP government. PDP: Share the cabinet. ![]() |
But not PDP! ![]() |
JEGA needs to make an official statement on this matter. |
True. Game over for BB. More territory for ACN. PDP, share the cabinet! ![]() |
This sounds better today. However, the chances of a runoff have reduced drastically over time. |
The answer: GEJ GEJ is a man of unity and he wants the progress of the country. He wants everybody to be happy at the end of it all even if he knows he has the upper hand. |

Hello Mr. thread, time to wake up! The evil that men do live after them. ![]() |
To BB fans who say PDP is Nigeria's greatest problem, here is what one of your oga said: ![]() "The greatest danger to democracy today is not the PDP; it is somewhere located in the South West," - Bakare https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-625435.0.html |
GEJ doesn't need to win in the NE and NW. He only needs his 25% in addition to his sure votes in SE, SS, SW (minimum 40%), NC (minimum 35%). Buhari needs a lot more support in NC and the whole south (up to 25%) to get the majority of votes. He will not get the needed spread from SE and SS. Also, the morals of those who believe in CPC has been seriously damped by the last election whether we like it or not. It's game over for BB, and more territory for ACN. Buhari missed his opportunity when he had the chance to step down and stand behind Ribadu. Check this thread for some detailed analysis: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-628352.0.html |
GEJ has the yam, ACN has the knife, Buhari is the spectator. Either way, Bakare will be the biggest loser of all. He just destroyed his reputation for the hope of riding in a private jet. Now he is being traded like a commodity in the political market. Lol! |
