FORWARD THINKING, FORWAD ACTING

"I appointed the best minds to manage our economy, provided unprecedented funding to Manufacturers, increased Power Generation and stabilized Banks via the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) all of which resulted in an 8.29% GDP growth and recognition from trading partners (most notably The U.K.) that Nigeria is now the world's 4th fastest growing economy. Let us continue on this trajectory together". GEJ

Let me add this to it: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4449587.stm

Enjoy.

For those that need to learn how to use google, I still have the links for the Buhari statement. I am waiting for the answer to my simple questions:

efisher:
2 Questions for the BB people looking for a credible source:

1. Will you consider a well known Nigerian Newspaper a credible source to at least quote what BUHARI said?
2. If you get this credible source you want based on your answer to No. 1 above, will you agree that your superhero goofed?

If you can provide simple Yes or No answers to the above in line with all you have been saying, I will gladly provide 2 different sources for you. cool

@10cirenoh, if you really want the links, just give me simple Yes/No answers to the questions I asked. That will be a good way for me to help you solve this puzzle.

@bk.babe97y, in this age we do not talk about where we are from, we talk about where we have been. How do you know I am not the one that brought education to your village? Anyway, that is not the issue at hand. It seems you know I'm about to put a nail in the coffin and it scares you.  grin
Ummmm. . . . . no!!! A Nigerian Newspaper will not be considered a credible source; not with all the bribe-induced reports we read about on the net everyday. Gimme a credible Western Newspaper and I just might believe. . . "JUST" being the key word--- maybe when hell freezes ova!
Wrong answer!

What you need to do is to go to the nearest computer training centre, pay a token and ask them to teach you how to use Google. After that, go ahead and search the internet for the story. When you have found it, come back and thank me.

GenBuhari, inasmuch as I do not support the BB ticket, I do not think it fair that you have decided to dig the wounds of your superhero. You are making him look even worse than he already is with your posts. The old man has made his mistake by making such a statement. Why not let him be and allow him lick his wound? Be fair to your own. Meanwhile, the FRESH AIR CAMP is still open. You are free to come in for some fresh air. cool
PoliticsRe: Abacha Never Stole, Say Buhari by efisher(m): 3:29pm On Mar 31, 2011
I am beginning to think that this GenBuhari guy is 12 years old! If not, you will not be talking about keeping an open mind and 'seeing evidence' of the loot. GenBuhari, when you get to Secondary School, you will learn about Nigerian history. Before then, stick to the social studies you are being taught in school. You will be needing it.
PoliticsRe: Abacha Never Stole, Say Buhari by efisher(m): 3:23pm On Mar 31, 2011
In a bid to justify a thief, they have chosen to justify a bigger thief! Are these amnesiac BB supporters trying to tell us that Abacha won a lottery and shared the proceeds with their superhero? If not, tell us where Abacha got all the money he stashed away in foreign accounts from.

Well me i wont say much but here is a simple prayer for GEJ supporters and non GEJ supporters.

Anybody who is willing to vote in PDP via GEJ may their lives be run the way PDP has run Nigeria for the past 12years.

N.B This is not a curse oh but simply a prayer to strengthen your resolve in PDP since you believe in their choice.

Did i hear anyone say amen?
Palma, this is a return prayer for you and every other Nigerian PDP, CPC, ANPP, ACN, etc supporters included:

"May your lives be filled with blessings. May you not be judged by where you come from but by the content of your heart. May you achieve astonishing growth and success in life. May you stand among kings and be recognised. May your lives be protected from electoral violence. May the greed of desperate politicians not cause you to stumble. May you contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria. May you and your children enjoy the benefits of good governance. Amen"

I recommend Buhari sees a doctor for making that statement.

It would have been more reasonable if it was: "Buhari never stole, says Abacha". At least we all know Abacha is a deciever. Even Abacha himself will feel insulted by this.

Fresh air is free for everyone no matter your tribe. Let us join hands together to move this nation forward. Let us build a nation where there is no minority. A nation where everybody is treated equally. Vote GEJ for unity and progress. Goodluck Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan - A New Beginning, A New Hope by efisher(op): 12:10am On Mar 31, 2011
Wonderful. I was particularly impressed by his move to conduct an external audit of NNPC. People have asked questions about his anti-corruption stance. Things like that are what bring transparency to the system. What about the sanitization of the banks? That is another laudable anti-corruption move. We have seen bank chiefs charged to court and prosecuted for various offences. We have seen the appointment of capable hands. Men and women like Sanusi, Jega and Deziani Madueke. With a great team like this, we will move forward.
PoliticsRe: Official Thread Of The Bon Nedg Presidential Debate by efisher(m): 12:03am On Mar 31, 2011
It is on record that GEJ actually pleaded with them to attend the debate. The bluntly refused. They have painted a bad picture for themselves. Pride comes before a fall.

You are all welcome to the FRESH AIR CAMP. As GEJ said, there are no Northerners or southerners, there are only good and bad Nigerians. I will add that good or bad, you are all Nigerians anyway. Therefore, to all of you who post crap: You are welcome. We do not discriminate here. In this camp, you may come from the smallest town in Nigeria but you can achieve your dreams. Embrace the freshness of a new Nigeria. Led by a new breed. Let us build Nigeria together. Vote GEJ/Sambo for progress.

GEJ has proven his respect for every Nigerian. He has shown that he is just like me and you. He is not a superhero. He believes in nigerians. He has shown that we can go beyond the ethnic divide. He has proven to the world that even if he has to stand alone for Nigeria, HE WILL.

A TRUE NIGERIAN

"There are only two types of people in Nigeria: Good or Bad and not Northerners or Southerners. Assess people by their character which they control not by their place of origin which they cannot control. God made us and placed us in the locality where we were born. To discriminate against any human based on place of origin is to question the wisdom of God. And the wisdom of God is beyond the wisdom of man". GEJ

THE MAN WHO LISTENS TO THE PEOPLE

On 28 June 2010, Jonathan created a Facebook fan page, a way of Socializing and sharing ideas with the people of Nigeria. He makes daily profile updates on Facebook and currently has over 500,000 fans on the Social networking site. On 6 January 2011, he wrote: "I was deeply pained as the leader of this great nation to read the comments of certain persons who yesterday described some Nigerians who happen to be PDP delegates as being "mere". The Almighty who created all Nigerians does not see them as "mere" and neither do I. We are one nation, one people who have value in the eye of true leaders."
According to CNN, Jonathan has more Facebook fans than the combined tally of British Prime Minister David Cameron, German chancellor Angela Merkel, and South African head of state Jacob Zuma. Moreover, fresh updates on his Facebook wall appear to be written by Jonathan himself. He is often regarded as "The Facebook president" by CNN

I am pleased to start this thread in full support of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. It is an avenue for Nairalanders to showcase to the world why GEJ should continue as President of Nigeria beyond 2011. Feel free to show your support.

Everybody in the world will look at this and see a great future for Nigeria because we have found a man who will finally turn Nigeria the right direction. A man who will put the interest of the nation ahead of himself. God bless Goodluck Jonathan, God bless Nigeria.

The other candidates have shown that they are not civil enough to respect the ordinary Nigerian. They wanted to bring the nation to disrepute. I thought Ribadu will not tow the same path. I have decided to vote GEJ and mobilize everyone I know to vote GEJ. My 100% support goes for GEJ.

GEJ just won the hearts of Nigerians home and abroad. Many people where I am are saying that the other candidates acted foolishly.
PoliticsRe: Official Thread Of The Bon Nedg Presidential Debate by efisher(m): 8:18pm On Mar 30, 2011
He has changed the debate to an opportunity to EXPLAIN himself. If the other candidates were here, it would have been a different ball game.
PoliticsRe: Official Thread Of The Bon Nedg Presidential Debate by efisher(m): 8:15pm On Mar 30, 2011
The other candidates just gave him the best chance to sell himself to Nigerians. He has scored cheap points with that LEADERSHIP question. He is trying to connect with the people.
