Hi everyone. @post ITA thread, anyone can create a thread. You simply moderate it and hope that people contribute meaningfully. As regards the entire eAPR process post ITA, i find it funny that anyone who has bothered to read this thread and bothered to click on dupyshoo's posts or on mine would mention that they have no post ITA info. Major problem is that we do not like to read, we want easy fixes, quick answers, etc etc etc. It amazes me that an individual who intends to make a move as serious as relocating to another country and intends to utilize funds for this process cannot read every single info available on the said process. Anyway like they say "we are all different.......personal circumstances may not allow mr x or mrs y read....yadi yadi ya"
If we all on this thread take time to drop our posts when we hit a snag and find a solution and so on, there would be loads of info. Canadavisaforum has a lotta info mostly because its populated with Asians who freely and liberally share their experiences.
Bottom line, read, learn, share.
Asking questions repeatedly over issues that have already died and been buried is quite annoying. This thread is currently over 490 pages and yet my fellow naija bro or sis will still ask "how can i register for ielts......what is the wes timeline.....i have 2 degrees, which should i evaluate......etc etc etc" Simple questions that you can ask google and it will answer you. Wes and Iqas sef have provided explanations as regards the different statuses on your evaluation, IRCC has clearly explained what degree to evaluate. CRS tool, simple q&a gives your score estimate.......like really, why can't a prospective applicant just read. Okay, okay if all this fails, what happened to using the search bar

Anyway, i don rant finish. Congrats to the latest ITA recipients. Kindly do your best to submit as soon as you can. Remember its summer and applications generally are processed for longer.
@dupyshoo, how market? @onlineise @esosa4real @40manlappy and all those that are habakkuk-ing, una wan use laugh tear my belle!!!!

Thanks Vcole. You have said it all. Let him that has ear hear what the spirit says grin

I just want to apologise to you all for the silence. You know how stressful bank jobs are and by the time I get home I don't even feel like doing anything else except sleeping. Also, for some reason I was finding it very difficult to login because I couldn't remember my login details.

For everyone who has received their PR's I just want to say a huge congratulations! For those of you who are still on the journey don't worry, you'll get there sooner than you know and in the end it'll be worth it.

Oh and one more thing, if you're already here in Canada and are still job hunting and your experience is in the financial services industry, let me know so I can give you some interview tips and tricks. Trust me, many of the interview questions they ask are constantly repeated.

Good luck!

Oh great to read from you again! I have missed you on this thread and thanks for stopping by once in a while. You are appreciated.

Good morning Good People,

I am having plenty delay with Uniport responding to the WES Degree confirmation.
It is acknowledged that the confirmation request from WES has arrived Uniport for over 3 weeks now, yet there is tooooo much sluggishness in doing the needful by Uniport.
Has anyone gone through this?
How much do I expect to pay again if any?
Any assist to follow up on this will be appreciated and I will cover the cost for any assistance rendered.

I need help as Degree confirmation from Uniport is my only challenge for now.

Uniport is like that. You will need to have someone on ground to follow up and push the exam n record staff. They only respond when they are tipped! sad but thats the reality on ground. Suffered same fate too when I did my ECA with WES.

Thanks for all the information shared so far. God bless all contributors here. I am a canny hopeful too but yet to decide on province. However, I would like to add that contribution should also include accommodation cost - all types available in most cities. This will help in planning/decision as this is going to be the most expensive household spend on monthly basis. it will also help in planning for jobs when all factors are being considered prior to acceptance.

Please don't mention Obama, he is the only president of African decent ever to achieve such who else has done it(his mother was even a white American), I join you in hoping for the best for your kids.

If nothing else, I trip for the accent of those yankee kids. They are also very outspoken and bold. Most naija PhD holders / bosses are usually intimidated by their accents. So if thats all my kids get there and return to Naija to run things (not necessary politics but in business), I am ok. shocked shocked

Travel / Re: Dear Nigerians In Diaspora, Is This Wickedness Or Selfishness? by egariyi(f): 1:48pm On Apr 28, 2017
How many Nigerians share their experiences of how they left Nigeria? If shared, I am sure alot of people will get the right message about legal or illegal immigration.

claremont:
I'm guessing I'm being wicked and selfish by only supporting people who wish to migrate legally. If we go along with the OPs reasoning, a good way to show selflessness and generosity is to assist our fellow Nigerians to 'go abroad' using any legal or illegal means.
Yet, we blame politicians for being corrupt, I strongly believe that 99.9% of Nigerians are innately corrupt. Nigeria is a country were someone who chooses to do the right thing is viewed as abnormal, selfish, wicked. What is sad is that some Nigerians in the diaspora still have not shaken off the innate Nigerian mentality. This is why non-Nigerians perceive the average Nigerian as a potential fraudster, they posit that the only honest Nigerian is the one who hasn't found himself/herself in a position to steal and/or commit fraud.

Marry one cute well to do guy, do lavish wedding, get pregnant and after one year break up and become a single mother so that you can continue to enjoy your olosho life where you don't have to answer to anybody. It's wrong for a man to beat a woman and it also wrong for a woman to beat a man or provoke a man till the point she'll receive some beating. She will only tell the side of the story that will make our almighty feminist sympathise with her. She no go tell us all the things wey self do.

And any woman that leaves a man because he is cheating is wasting her time. Except you want to end up using a Love Machine for the rest of your life. Men will never stop cheating..you either take it or take it. How Churchill nor go phuck that kain sweet P.A? To.to dike should also tell us the number of people's husband sh phucked before getting married...ITI!

Keep cheating but bear in mind that judgement day is coming!! The fact that its common does not make it right. Also, there are thousand and one men and women who have kept their marriage vows! Its the same yardstick or standard that God has set on this issue. So if you like, Kwatinu to cheat to your detriment shocked

Any one with information can help us understand more... Thanks

The summary is that you will need to secure an offer of employment from a possible employer in any of the Atlantic provinces to be able to apply for this. The major hurdle to applying is the possibility of securing an offer in addition to other less requirement (pof, english, experience etc).

Lady, the act of this woman is inhuman and detestable IF true and the man will be vindicated. Thank God he has been granted bail by the presiding magistrate.

@Topic: though I don't believe in polygamy BUT I don't see any crime committed by the man. The woman should either accept her fate and live with it or file for divorce.

What if the failure to achieve pregnancy is from the man, who would you expect from the woman? Accept his fate and live with it? Talk is cheap my broda grin

You could save yourself all that money and have your baby in Nigeria though... undecided

I don't blame the VOs... every year health insurance goes up by a minimum of 10% just to accommodate for losses for those who either won't pay their hospital bills or try to cut corners... taking "discounts" they are not entitled to.

so why dont the fed govt ask the hospitals/clinics to stop giving discount to foreigners if the discounts is affecting its citizenry?

Stop saying nonsense. I spent more than a year in the phillipines where there are few blacks and I had some of the best moments of my life there. It depends on the county tho. Its better for a white man or even something as low as Hispanic to be racist to me than for my fellow black fellow to be treating me anyhow.

Spot on!! Most ill treatment meted on blacks by blacks even in our dear country cannot even be done by Hispanic not to talk of Causacian!1

This matter has been blown beyond proportion. The Enenche's i know will not throw her out of her matrimonial home. She needs to come out clean on this one. Why are we not asking her to explain in details what transpired before she came to Abuja few days after her late husband burial? She should tell the truth concerning real issues and not trying to gain public sympathy through social media platform. We should try and refrain ourselves from making comments we are not sure of. Its well

I suspect the woman had no child for the late Pastor. If that is the case, I am not surprised as this is typical with most Africans to threat barren widows with disdain and even accusing her of killing the husband. Why was the corpse denied autopsy? The family should have atleast allowed her to mourn her husband before talking about sharing assets or property. In my opinion, I think the woman refused their help because she must have considered their help too early hence their anger! The truth cannot be far from these!!
Religion / Re: Ejection Drama: Paul Enenche's Family Speaks by egariyi(f): 4:16pm On Sep 08, 2016
The story is laced with lots of lies. First, why wasn't autopsy carried out. I think the family is indirectly accusing her of killing her husband as always with Africans. Secondly, I suspect the woman has no kids for the late Pastor hence the quick so called attempt to help the woman.

I was shocked... That was damn too fast and efficient.
I wonder why some people still use WES tho.
Thanks iphie25 and everyone.
So I have my ielts and ECA now, please what next..

I am still unable to progress my application with IQAS. When I get to the point of online payment, the page just freezes. when I refresh the page, it says technical error has been reported. pls wait 24 hours and try again. Its been like this for about two weeks since I have been trying it. Pls help me with the link of the site or hints to achieve my application. thanks.

Thanks Freeradical. My problem is that the payment does not come up after clicking online payment option. It just hang and froze. Some told me to try it out in the evening (when its their morning), it still came up same. I am thinking I may be using a wrong link to access IQAS. Could you please provide me with the full website of IQAS you used. Thanks

freeradical:
I had the same challenge. What I did was to use my sister's access bank ATM card and it went through. I noticed that my ATM was mastercard while my sister's was visa. Maybe that was why her's went through and mine did not. Give it another shot with an access bank ATM card.

Another option is to contact someone in Canada or the US to buy money order for you and send to your address in Nigeria so you can include in your package but that is more expensive and time consuming.

The poster painted a true picture of the life of an oil coy worker in Nigeria. Weather you like it or not, this is the average life style of most oil workers. Very few are wise and real.

Afritop:

I have been hustling for long so to overcome this challenges is simple discipline and discretion. One person's palaver does not mean it will happen to his neighbours. Infact it is Because they spoilt you that you have to paste rubbish. Because you earn N1m per month does not imply you buy land worth N15m when there are affordable lands scattered all over the country.
and you don't have to rent a mansion to show you are an oil worker.
As for spiritual demand, I don't know which witch still dey follow you and wey still allow you to dey remain as oil worker
