Politics › Re: Yorubas Are The Best In Accommodating Strangers In Nigeria - By Sam Omatseye by eherbal(m): 5:05pm On May 12, 2012
afam4eva: When i hear stuff like this, all i can do is just laugh at the myopic disposition that's displayed by people like Sam. While, i think Yorubas are accomodating but that does not make them the most accomodating group in Nigeria. Infact, it's a very stupid thing to say. Maybe it should have been "Lagos Yorubas or Lagos Ingegenes are accomodating". Even that sounds stupid because Yorubas live in every corner of this country and i challenge any Yoruba man to come out and tell us why they feel their hosts are not accomodating. It's also myopic not to consider the fact that lagos just like Abuja is now, used to be the federal capital territory, so ordinarily it should be the behive of ethnic congregation. Why were other Yoruba states not listed alongside lagos? That's shows that Sam is just being mischievous.
on the level of employment in the state and Lg level in the eastern states, how many of your governors employ non igbos?even one of the eastern governors had to sack non state indigenes of igbos descent.Just. Incredible.Intolerant bastardss.in lagos and other western regions, there's igbo, hausa, tivs, edo, rivers, etci it's employ think, think.

saintneo: @the fool called Bluetooth

this goes to show how unintelligent you are in using words to express your opinion. Firstly, someone sang the praise of Yoruba, why won't sing the psalms of Igbo. Secondly, I never insulted anyone nor tribe in my post.
Bluetooth, you must be green with envy when you see that your visitors are progressing;
while you stay put on your Windows98 computer retrogressing.

Learn to appreciate other people.
yeah,I agree with you.Your progress is through the back door;drugs, kidnapping, advance fee fraud,Rituals,Robbery etc.Very enterprising, the Igbo people.

saintneo: Igbo are the best strangers/visitors in Nigeria and the World at large.

They live peacefully with their host community.
They are very industrious, thus they develop their hosts' community.
They learn the language of their host communities so as to adapt.
They do not discriminate against their host communities; thus, they marry their daughters and sons as well.
They stay for eleven months at their host community and spend only one month at their traditional home, during a twelve calendar month year.
They take the culture of their host communities to their traditional communities.

These are just few reasons why Igbo are the best visitors/strangers, kindly add yours to the list.

No wonder Lagos is populated with Igbo and the people of Igala are ready to welcome Igbo to invest in their community.
Igbos are symbiots, cousins of parasites. They can't live in or 'survive' in their immediate enviroment, but depend on their foreign host for sustenance, hence their continued stay in the north, amidst the butchery and bombings of their kinsmen.

Health › Doctors’ Strike Imminent Nationwide… If T by eherbal(op): 8:24am On May 12, 2012
By Sola Ogundipe, Chioma Obinna & Gabriel Olawale
A nation-wide doctors strike maybe imminent following
the initiated dialogue between the Lagos State
Government and the national body of the Nigeria Medical
Association, NMA, which ended deadlocked yesterday
even as the Lagos State Government has been
challenged to publish names of the 373 doctors it
claims to have recruited.
At the 4- hour meeting which had in attendance, the
State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, Permanent
Secretary, Dr. Femi Olugbile, Other officials of the Lagos
State Government including the State Head of Service,
HOS, could not resolve the fixation position of the HOS
that the Lagos Government had resolved to disciplined
its doctors and that the matter was beyond him.
To this end, the NMA national body is planning to
convey an Emergency delegates Meeting to review the
current situation and take a national position which
findings by Saturday Vanguard revealed may result
to a nation- wide doctors’ strike.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos on the outcome
of the meeting, the newly elected National President of
the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Dr. Osahon
Enabulele appealed to the Lagos State Government to
quickly get back to the negotiation table and explore the
windows of opportunity presented to them by the
NMA.
Enabulele also urged the State Government to
immediately reverse the sack orders of the doctors,
retrieve the mass queries and to open themselves up
for sincere and genuine dialogue towards redressing the
issues at stake.
The NMA National president was in Lagos to seek a
mediated settlement of all the issues in dispute
between the parties.
Enabulele who frowned at the attitude of some of the
officials during the meeting hinted that the national
body in collaboration are exploring all options to resolve
the crisis.
His words, “Lagos State Government should honestly
take responsibility for all that had happened because
what has generated the crisis is its inability to keep
faithfully to the agreement.
“So, as expected in a democracy, it should be
honourable enough to implement what they agreed to
implement. Once they do that, nobody will have any
cause to agitate. Everybody will work together as
brothers and sisters and that essentially is the
message.”
Speaking on the claims of the Lagos Government that it
had recruited 373 new doctors, he challenged the state
government to publish the names of the newly recruited
doctors.
“If the government is sincere, it should publish the
names of the newly recruited doctors.”
On the purported eviction of the doctors, Enabulele said
it is totally rejected by the NMA. He said, “The eviction
is not in order. It even violates the tenancy laws of the
Lagos State .
It traumatises the sacredness of the human entity. So,
it is totally rejected. It is totally unacceptable and the
NMA believes that there are better ways of addressing
the needs and the expectations of the workforce.”
E-Herbal...

Aint you the guy I bought those fake herbal drugs from two years ago?! I guess you have been self medicating on Dogwoyaro and Cannabis.. You are definitely high on that NAFDAC unapproved fake herbal concotion.

Eyo festival is the last remaining Yoruba festival and it is on its way to the Dogs...
The Hausas I would respect because atleast at the Durbar festival and Argungu fishing festival, I didnt see them dressed up like birthday clowns with multi-coloured outfits and acting a fool. They have guarded their festivals jealously and all the westerners do is take pictures.. The Ofala festival is the same thing, The new yam festival across the Niger Delta and the East is the same thing... The only tribe whose festival have Oyinbos mimicking them in jest is the Yorube peoples festival... WHY?!!

If the Ijaws and riverine communities in Rivers and Bayelsa state are having their War-canoe festivals, all you see are their local masquerades, local attire and customs and tradition on display..

Look at this rubbish?! How do I tell my white friends that this is Nigeria!?

The carnival has been on since which means no be today inferiority complex start to hold una... Get real my friend!! Where are the Agbadaa?! Iro and Bubas?! Women in Aso-ebi?! The satellite dish geles?! You are here justifing Yorubas acting like wanna be carribeans and talking rubbish.. angry

Is you tribal mark internal or what?! angry

Why you dey reason like person wey get tribal mark for brain!!
one thing I've come to know the igbo man for is this;what they don't have ,they destroy.I can imagine the pain you're going through now.Just two festivals.Ofala and The new Yam festival. What a shame! For your information, retardo ïgnoramus, the eyo festival is not the only Yoruba festival that attracts worldwide patronage and it's not a dying festival.we have the ojudeOba festival,in Ijebu,Osun festival,Kayo Kayo in Epe,Sangbeton in Badagary.etc.These few aforementioned festival has colossal cult followers both home and abroad, and has been studied in foreign universities world over. The yoruba language is being studied in hundreds of universities world over, and we have people coming here to study it in our universities and even speaking it like the aborigines themselves. The igbo race has no existence and are a TABULA RASA(A blank space)when it comes to tracing their history and lineage. The only acceptable theory and thesis world over is their relationship to a particular Gorilla that has gone into extinction, hence they are of no impotance to world history
The Yorubas are the masters at copying..

That is Calabar Canival mixed with Rivers State boat regatta
listen carefully you tribalistic mongrel. If You must know ,the Yorubas and Hausas are up and above any other tribe in this country that their cultural festivals attracts massive foreign and local attendance.can't say much about the cannibalistic igbo cultures. The lagos carnival has been on before your father came to Lagos on his community loaned bicycle , and as for the boat regatta, the riverine areas of badagary, epe, Ojo and Ikorodu etc have been celebrating this ,even before the advent of the Europeans. If I were you,I'd start thinking of a festival that will attract world attention like the Okija cannibal festival, son of an invalid.

I'm presently driving somewhere around kuto, in abeokuta and there's massive hail storm here. It's so strong,it's got people leaving their cars for shelter. To give you an idea.it's like having gravel poured on the roof of your vehicle from a four storey building.this is the second time I'm witnessing this anomaly.the first being around 1981 In Festac as a kid.Is this phenomenon normal,or a sign of the end time as predicted.2012

Toaskarity: since you ve been on Nl, you never miss out any beauty stuff that has tribal war on it!
the worst thing is that you always atlast turn around crying that Igbo ppl first complain about your own ppl
Why not read from the first pg and see how bias you are! everyone first start screaming about igbos representing them
even going extend of saying that igbo girls got not moral thats why they full the competition, you
dint see that but was able to cry out when the game changed! you always a s.tu.pid bias tribalist!

ILEKE IDI = PRINCESS ILEKE aka QUEEN of EKITI pls prove us that this girls are ugly as you said by providing us with your own pishure! stop checking urself in the mirror cos you always end up deceiving yourself which lead to frustration someday, post pishure so you will know how actually you look! dont post fake pic like that nice a..s.s on your prof pic! pls back up your prove that this girls are ugly as you stated!
hey lizard breath,I'm not holding brief for ileke idi or any other perceived tribalist on NL.Please, when accusing one of being a tribalist ,you shouldn't portray yourself as one.If the Igbo girls are as special as some of you claim, why are the igbo bros opting for yoruba and Edo girls?I attended six,I repeat, six weddings of such this year alone. You complain bout the yoruba girls, you get married to them.what kinda hypocrisy is that.Food for tot, hmmm?bloodyy tribalist.
