jpworld: After the police pro contacted them, they quickly transfer the case to alausa 4 arraignment.
Driver was arraigned, b4 driver was arraigned prosecutor keep pressuring the driver to plead guilty, so he can pay the fine and take his car. i quickly drove to oshodi to be with the driver, i told the driver to plead not guilty.
After the arraignment, i request proof of evidence from the prosecutor, he ignored, i file an application for it, which will be heard on next adjourned date.
Police did not take his statement, they were after money, immediately Lagos state command call, they transfer.
Will file a bond for release of vehicle on Monday,
Case continue. Considering the persona you try so hard to project here, I’m a lil’ bit impressed. |

Cheddaz: My dear oga, what's the bone of contention for this whole matter? You guys having been dragging urselves in mud for over a week now. You said you have 10 cars on ehailing and your drivers are all complying, I can see you are handling your business well. Why not focus on your business if you are here to gather information to help you run your business better, no qualms. But all this bad energy is not healthy. You guys are matured men stop clawing at each other like wounded cats. I couldn’t help myself. |

izzou: Actually, it could also happen at a junction...
The jeep could be coming out from the right and ran into him, damaging his fender and right head lamp
If it was from the front, it would not affect only the right headlamp, and the impact must be very huge to affect the fender..
Remember, Fender is at the side...
I'm not defending him though, just playing Sherlock Holmes like you too.. You wey be CIA before. |

mrjaydee: Yes there has been some improvement but we are not there yet. Trust me it's only mondays Wednesdays and fridays you get many trips. Other days you might be lucky or not.
When the govt lifts the 10pm curfew then we can start demanding for 25k weekly, till then 15-20k weekly is fair enough. This should happen alongside the resumption of international flights, if not before. |

Nice strategy. First you make derogatory statements about vision’s wife, now this. . . You really are a disgrace. |

izzou: If maybe we all call a spade, a spade, this world would be a better place.
What he did was fraud He scammed his rider He stole from him
Him starting the trip was not the issue. He drove down to Berger, parked and negotiated with four different riders and carried them all the way to Ogba before he ended the trip...and to you, that's not fraudulent, but a moment of madness
If it was a rider now, I can imagine how here would be turned upside down.
Or maybe those riders scamming drivers are also having moments of madness too No point saying anything again. I couldn’t have said it better. |

mrjaydee: You are wrong boss. Uber only charges if the driver arrives at your pick up, you will get a notification from uber that driver has arrived. Then the 5mins countdown begins. He’s actually right. Back in the day, I was enroute to PU point but there was traffic, rider cancelled before I got there and I got the cancellation fee. PS This has happened on multiple occasions. |

Blackbishop: You are absolutely right sir, but you want a seamless car to work and deliver excellently you need the top notch input to function. This oil prolongs and actually reduces engine deposits sir. From experience once you use this oil and it runs a full service circle, I will drain all the oil and drive the car few Kilometres without the engine packing up without any oil in the engine. This I can tell you |

northbird: Bro. But you know dt 20k sef can't b steady for 50 weeks straight.
There is no driver in Lagos that can deliver 52 weeks without fail.
So d % remittance will fall further.
Tgirl said it all, the ehailng companies r d real culprits, trying to slash fares further and promise heaven in Lagos to riders. I’ve always said that drivers had the better deal; even at N30k weekly rentals. Unfortunately, Covid made it worse, and it’s not about to get better. It probably would not get better |

DIGIMARKETER: Thanks for the question. Yes i am a Nigerian Brand..
One thing we as digital marketers use is lead magnet, it's only a matter of time before they introduce commission or passengers will be cheesed off with ads whatever it is i know they is a catch.
Even though they are free for drivers, uber and bolt are still in business and plus mine is not just cab hailing platform but can also double as a ride sharing app, online garage for inter state, can be used as shuttle app, delivery e.t.c.
And i am sure they are probably operating in Lagos, Abuja, Port harcourt or i partner with a politician and we throw all the foreign brands out of Nigeria or force them to partner with Ngerians and forfeit 40% to the Nigerian.
whatever the case they don't bother me. I live in Cambridge and we have more than 10 cab offices here. Competition is good for economy You’ve got a good idea. Needs some tweaks to make it “Nigeria-friendly”. The market is definitely there. I’m really curious to see how it plays out. All the best. |

I'm going to imbibe this 1 star rating for them henceforth! . This is just silly, in my opinion. Who do you think has more to lose, drivers or riders? Do you think riders don't frequent this forum too? Y'all bother about ratings too much. Just drive and rate accordingly. |

Vision2045: I don't support manipulation or any illegal sharp practice by drivers ...infact I hate it.
But, if u are on the trip with the said driver u probably should question him, If u suspect he is intentional taking longer route, except u are not familiar with the route.
I always advice rider that when going on a longer route or a route you are not familiar with, just put your destination on Gmap as well and suggest your preferred route.
Finally, during raining season like this it's reasonable to avoid some bad roads even if that is the short cut to your destination, the trip will end you will pay and continue on your sojourn the driver might end up spending X4 in fixing his car, especially in this current season. From the zigzag pattern, it’s clear he used an app that takes over the GPS. Booked the trip for a friend, if I were the rider, I’ll just pay him the estimate and be on my way. |

radautoworks: Alright, full detailed review. The good and the bad. Give it to me. I've been away six months and need to know. First off, customer service was really good, Seun was 10/10. Only downside was that I didn’t get to talk to a technical person directly, might have made the decision process a bit easier for me; having her as an intermediary wasn’t the best, she held her own though. I asked to speak with Glen, and he was very available and very accommodating, I liked that. Should be there again the week after, for the actual fixes on the car. Final verdict on hold till then. Hope I’ll get my three fold discount; New Year, New Customer and Nairaland. |
