dru23: One thing you forget , that empty can is not on nairaland looking for 25k rental This has no bearing on anything. The fact that you supposedly give out cars on rentals and someone else is here looking for a car on rentals doesn’t make you better than him, like your post implies. You talk about attitude, practice what you preach |

pope191: I dig the exploitive part, but like it has been said " Wisdom is the principal thing"... Its an unfair world out dia and I have to stay in tunes with my realities and what work for me, as long as my conscience is well guilded, then opinion or perception can b feed to those that need it.
I'm learning, this life is majorly formed by our experience... Last night I was at Iwaya ard Yaba after using 1/2 destination trip, both start acting up, giving me a pick up point at Ikeja, while I have Ogba as my destination. Luckily I saw a 5 mins drive, rider changed his mind and gift me 1k for d effort. I was able to get mende from dia and as I was about to go offline since I've exhausted my destination setting, trip dropped in, while thanking if I should cancel or call d rider... A small voice in me ask me to call, I did and he was going to Ogba. Got to pick up point and from what I can deduce, he is a pastor, deh just got done with church and need to get his family home, while he finish up with church matters, so he ask me to drop my account number. Lo and behold dis people were going to my street (15 blocks from mine), I drop them and call d pastor, he promise to send my money and up till dis moment I'm yet to get my money. I've tried to reach dem twice today, all to no avail.
My view: human being will always be human, olosho or pastor. So you have to be well guilded when dealing with human. If I were you and I’m in one of my crazy moods, I might just walk 15 blocks to ask him just how smart he thinks he is. |

Epphy: Nah...Bolt is #65 per km/ #10 per min/ #200 base fare
And #70/km for long distance trips For this hypothetical earning scenario, we’ll assume 50 trips with an average of 10km and 1 hour per trip. UBER 10km N600 60 mins N660 Base N200 Total = N1460 75% N1095 97% N1416.2 N1095 x 20 trips N21900 N1416.2 x 30 trips N42486 Total Earinings N64386 BOLT 10km N650 60 mins N600 Base N200 Total = N1450 80% N1160 90% N1305 N1160 x 30 trips N34800 N1305 x 20 trips N26100 Total Earinings N60900 Oya, make una start the arguments |

Felicity001: Please do I’m not a mathematician I’m just a fucking Reservior Engr. Do the math if you can cause I’m seriously interested to know the best path to follow. I know uber’s fees are: Base = 200 Km. = 60/km Time = 11/min What are the respective charges on bolt? Make we do the maths |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Eizenburg: 6:46am On Dec 13, 2019 |
Felicity001: These two are freaking confusing I must say. 10% after 30trips: bolts:Uber request is like 3:2 on the island and 4:1 on the mainland 3% after 20trips: Uber:bolt riders behavior is like 5:0, cancellation charges 300:0 naira. Also bolt charges are way higher than Uber.
One will need a mathematician to be able to tell which one is better among the two.
The competition is getting interesting Should we do the maths? |

brogxy: Guys using opay will need to be careful. Tried logging in this morning only to see this. The only trip I took yesterday on it was from badore road to phase 1. And due to the fact that I just passed the round-about towards ajah bridge, the rider suggested that she will take keke to meet me. Started trip when she came to addo road and saw a notification that the trip will be checked to know if I actually took the rider, only to see this message this morning. So guys use the app at your discretion as the destination and pickup location the rider enters is important to them. These ones are not anywhere close to ready. Dem be money miss road The only reasons riders use OCar is cos of the discounts, and the only reasons drivers do too is cos of the Bonuses. If/When their bonuses and discounts stops, they will be on a looooooong thing. |

I really didn't feel like working yesterday, so I stopped by at the Courts in Ikeja to do some things, later on I sha enter one court room to witness a proceeding, before then I saw able bodied men being brought in from Prison on trial, and what one lawyer related to me humbled me, that's why I said earlier in one of my post that if you go out and come back safely everyday, kneel down and thank your God. All this i will "show you who I am.." etc. just save the energy for something more profitable. Brain is better than brawns, anyday anytime Scoffield vs Burrows |

1daboi: I thought we've discussed this be4 in the past? I still maintain that asking a rider out of your car is gullible, disrespectful and even unprofessional. If you have any valuable that can't fit into you hand glove box, leave it at home! Don't come and be suspecting all your riders. In fact if I order a ride and you ask me to step out of your car under a hot sun just because you want to check something in your bonnet, please hold a gun as you are asking me out But giving 1 star cos you were called “Oga” is respectful and professional? |

The type of riders I pickup these day. . . .
I had no plans to drive on UBER this week. Yesterday I had a presentation and Madam also had an interview (both in Ikoyi). Dropped her off, went for my presentation and finished before she did. Na so boredom make me on app, immediately I got a request, rider was on Oba Adeyinka Oyekan and going to Lekki 1. Just as I started the trip, I remembered that I didn’t have any cash on me, as I was planning on using the ATM and I had completely forgotten. Na so I just park tell Rider that unfortunately, he’d have to get another ride, but that he can wait in my car til his new ride arrives, he asked me why and I told him. He say make we go say him go pay for toll, even though it was a card trip. Also said I would be taking him back to Ikoyi after a max of 5 mins stop. We stopped and he told me to end the trip but still wait for him. 2 minutes later, dude was back, he checked his app and told me that he wa charged N1350 for the 1st leg of the trip and that he’d pay me N1500 for the 2nd leg. I told him not to worry. He seemed surprised and asked me why not? Told him he did me a solid by paying for the toll and that I’m just repaying the favor. He smiled, payed the toll on our way back, paid N1000 for the return trip, and still dash me 5 star rating.
Said I should pay the kindness forward. |

jesbu: I did read carefully, when you root make your uber app to be in system folder so you will not have problems with app close or force close or any interruption. Your uber app will be acting very fast and responsive because it's a system like google app.you have not tried so you may never know. Trust me, I’m a techie. I’m well aware of what you’re talking about and I’ve never used an unrooted android device. Right now I’m using an iOS device and if the app “misbehaves” once outta 559 trips, I don’t see it as a problem. |

Epphy: Write Uber for a review. You will get what you are due as long as you can give them all necessary details. Not necessary. Explained to the rider what happened and she asked how we’ll settle it. Told her we’ll do a manual calculation based on distance and time. She said cool and paid me completely. |

jesbu: I have never encountered all these GPS problem you people are having. My advice to you and everyone, get a phone that you can root with magisk manager. Download systemizer and make uber app or bolt app to be in the system folder. Enjoy without out problem. If you read carefully, you’d realize that this isn’t a GPS problem. For some reason, i was logged out of my UBER app 2 minutes into the trip. |

So I took a trip this afternoon from Baruwa Inside in Ipaja to somewhere off Ado Road, Ajah. 73km and 3.5 hours. Uber app is always in background once I launch Google Maps. Tim to end ride, I realized I had been logged out. Re-launched app and saw that trip ended after just 2 minutes at N400 |
