luvly: Thanks dearie,i want 2 know if there are foods 2 avoid during pregnancy.i like chewing garri a lot, will it affect d pregnancy?its my 1st time pls. Well I do know that you shouldn't eat anything that isn't properly cooked. Just take care of yourself well during this first 3 months and eat well. not junk but healthy foods. You need your vitamin but i think it's best you see a doctor before you take any drug. Foods to avoid: junk food!!!! Your baby needs all the fruit and veggies it can get. Congrats. |

Arlington: @ Beetle hello, Can you imagine CHICAGO my backyard here ? That is crazy i will have to call Chicago first to see what they say . Thank you so much for the info, yes My enemy is unexplained ohhhhhhhhhhh. That is why IUI is the route i have gone.will check the websites as well and see thanks again.
@ Stages That is fantastic news let the baby kick well oh so you have rest of mind i can just imagine after all this we have gone through the child will grow up and you tell the child go and do this and he/she says no kai hummmmmmmmm . You are in my prayers the wait is almost over.
@ Sammiejo i saw this post hours ago and i did not even know what to say You have every right to be sad, this is a huge loss and i can not even start to imagine how you feel inside . I pray God gives you the strength to be well body mind and soul. I had 2 miscarriages and did not even get up to 4 months and i still sit down some days and cry . just from the day you know you are pregnant you become protective you fall in love with what you have not seen that is when you instantly become a mother. I can not get my head round what it is like to get all the way to 9 months and this happens. Just be strong and know your baby is in a better place i am so sorry for your loss. Exactly! I saw it,couldn't think of what to say and just left NL. @ Sammiejo please take heart. |

Beetle: Hi Girls,
I haven't posted for a while and I hope you lots are doing fine and any1 got pregnant since the last time I posted ??
I'm getting prepared for my 4th ICSI sometime this year and looking for regime of vitamins to use but will get there eventually IA.
When you say it's dirty, do you mean it's brown, apparently according to Dr Toth from USA (he's a popular doc on the web) it cld be a sign of infection. Have you ever done a swab to test for ureaplasma, mycloplasma Beetle It was a initially but that is gone now, like I said it turned to normal period after a day. Been a while since I had regular period so I'm out of touch |

MyPeace: Dirty is not good, it usually means infection, l could be wrong. l would say leave it till this weekend, by next week you take a step if it doesnt lead to normal period. It turned to normal period whew! |

MyPeace: What kind of spotting are u having? if its a dirty, see your gyn, but if it seems normal, the one that comes before the main period, give urself some time. But it its unusual for you, whatever the kind, see your gyna
l am in my 2ww, woww!!!!!! I'm even confused. I would say it is dirty. It has increased from spotting but is not up to normal flow. maybe my body is adjusting/regulating? What is 2ww? |

At the beginning of this thread are tips on how to care for and strengthen your hair. Some of it are repeated here soreola: i personally just went from natural to relaxer for the second time, I found natural much more stressful cause the texture of my hair was not pleasant, Truth be told one can grow your hair both ways, i.e. natural or relaxed, my hair was destroyed at the back from relaxing (the first time) and so i decided to cut it and go natural, now after about 5 years i went back to relaxing and the hair on the back of my hair is very ok, i have a stylist that is helping me through my journey to longer hair, what the OP said is extremely true, i.e. taking care of your relaxed hair and even natural hair is a LOT of work but once you find a routine that works its becomes easier,
For me HOT OIL TREATMENT, is when u oil your case and put on a shower cap or if u do it b4 bed a night cap and leave it to stem up, or u could see under a dryer only for a little while
DEEP CONDITION- when you (after washing) put conditioner in your hair and cover your hair with a shower cap and either sit under a dryer or just leave for a while to stem up
AVOID HEAT!!- too much heat is no good for your hair, i remember i used to use hot comb every time i washed my hair (when it was natural) now that my hair is relaxed i have made a rule for myself to only use a flatiron once a month, and now i air dry my hair and it doesn't even take that long
once more thing i wanna introduce, ( i dont kno if anyone already spoke about this)
PROTEIN TREATMENT- the best way i can describe it is that u could use Motion's CPR and same as before, wrap your hair and see under a dryer, this should be done about every 2-3 weeks,
if anybody has questions feel free to ask, im sure there are others here who are also able to answer, ciao You can also check out www.hairlista.com for more info. |

MyPeace: l have read so much about this pre-seed huhhhh
However friends, how is everybody doing? l have decided to really change my meal. l dont just eat anything for the sake of it, but things that will help me in this situation and also to remain healthy. l have found among various things, that cabbage veggie and wheat meal are very good for us. cabbage contains cruciferous, which is good for hormonal balance, and whole wheal meal is very very good, had almost everything a good prenatal vitamins has. so instead of eating eba, amala, semo etc, replace it with whole wheat meat. dont just buy already processed ones, buy the raw ones from any local market, ground it into powder, there you go! Eat it for one week, you must notice a different in your system! I was doing this just before I took in last year just because I couldn't find processed ones where I lived maybe it helped me take in but now I buy processed ones I shall repent Also I will try to eat the dreaded cabbage Thanks for the info |

Hi all,how do you wash your braids. I have braids in and before I started taking care of them,I would just grease it whenever it looked dry. Now that I know better and have braids in, I cannot figure out how to wash it. Help a sister out. Oh and does one deep condition on braids? |

Question! I have just braided and I know I should still moisturize and seal with oil daily. I use ORS Olive oil creme to moisturize. How will I use the creme to moisturize the braids? Or should I do a mix of the creme and water and use to spray |
