Through intense therapy, I think it finally reduced to 10. Most times the victims don’t even know they have different personalities. The only way they find out is if you record them and play their personalities back yo them.

7-Year-Old Girl Manifests Signs Of Mental Illness After Brutal Rape By Two Suspects In Abuja
_NGOs, Activists Press For Justice_

Life may not remain the same again for a 7-year-old girl whose identity we decided to conceal for fear of discrimination after series of brutal rape by two suspects in the Kubwa area of Abuja.

This comes as a non-governmental, Messengers of Peace and beauty queen and activist, Keecheer Johnson press for justice for the victim.

The suspects, Clovis Igwe aka Yellow Pawpaw 29, and his accomplice, George aka Amarachi Uncle 26 were said to have lured the victim to their apartment before taking their turns to have canal knowledge of her.

Trouble however started started when the victim's mother, a staff of a private school in Abuja noticed changes in her daughter's attitude.

When asked, the victim said the accused persons covered her mouth with handkerchief and took turns to rape her. She was to an undisclosed medical facility where it was proved that she was raped.

The suspects were arrested and detained in Kubwa police station. Upon suspicion of underhand dealing, the victim's mother raised alarms, attracting the attention of the founder Messengers of Peace Foundation, Dr. Suleiman Adejoh, Miss Commonwealth Nigeria, Keecheer Johnson and others.

Upon their intervention, the case was transfered from Kubwa police division to the Gender Unit of the FCT police command, Garki Abuja for further investigation and prosecution.

The victim's medical report as obtained from Kubwa General hospital has been handed over to Messengers of Peace Foundation.

Speaking with Abuja Press on Monday, Keecheer Johnson tasked police on transparency and diligence in the investigation of the case, saying a dehumanisation of one girl is a collective assault on all women.

She thanked the police for their quick intervention which led to the arrest of the suspects.

The beauty queen was said to have ensured that the victim was promptly rushed to hospital for treatment before the arrival of Dr. Adejoh.

In his contribution, Dr. Adejoh expressed anger with the increasing acts of violence against women, noting that the brutal rape of the minor is wickedness taking too far.

He said as an organisation, the Messengers of Peace Foundation will continue to raise awareness on the need to protect the vulnerable in the society, particularly women, children and the aged.

He expressed the readiness of his organisation to provide a pro-bono legal service to ensure that the victim and her family get justice, saying his organisation is at the moment handling another case of child trafficking.

The Messengers of Peace Foundation is therefore calling on relevant agencies, particularly women organizations to come out and ensure justice for the victim.

Queen Ejiro Okokoro, Queen of Peace international 2021 and the current president of the Association of Nigeria Queens was at the police command to establish all the facts before calling on women association to seek for justice for the victim.

When our correspondent visited the hospital where the victim is undergoing treatment, she indicated a minimal sign of recovery as her behaviour remains a matter of concern.

She is not mad bus she is having bipolar disorder which is a chronic form of depression. She needs medical attention so the the trauma will not affect her now and in future.! What an innocent soul!

Last month, a lady without basic education or vocational skills telling me, someone who is feeding her, clothing her and working in one of the Multinational companies that I am the least, Just because guys are flopping around her. Sometimes, I wonder the mindset of some ladies. They see beauty or guys flopping around them as an achievement.

The good ladies in Nigeria currently are just less than 5%. This might be harsh but it is the truth.

We should tread with caution.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has admitted that there was over-voting in the July 16 governorship election that brought in Ademola Adeleke as Governor of Osun State.

A Deputy Director in the ICT department of the INEC, Mrs Abimbola Oladunjoye disclosed this while giving evidence before the Election Petition Tribunal hearing the petition filed by Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the declaration of Adeleke as the winner of the election.

Being cross-examined by the Petitioners' counsel, Chief Akin Olujinmi SAN, Oladunjoye who was referred to as a star witness of INEC admitted that in Ward 4 unit 7, Ede South Local Government, there is an over-voting of 75, as the figure of accreditation on the BVAS report presented by INEC is 313, while the result on form EC8A is 383.

Oladunjoye's attention was also drawn to paragraph 21.36 of his witness statement where she stated that the accreditation figure was 830, but in the BVAS report presented by INEC, the figure of accreditation is 793, admitting that there was an over voting of 37.

The witness also admitted that in paragraph 26.7 of his witness statement, there is an accreditation figure of 402, while the accreditation figure on the INEC BVAS report was 263, admitting that there is an over voting of 139.

Also in paragraph 23.24 of his witness statement, Oladunjoye agreed that the accreditation figure she mentioned was 448, while the accreditation figure on BVAS was 224, admitting that there is an over voting of 224.

The witness who said under cross examination that she was not a Presiding Officer on the election day said, it is only the Presiding Officers that have explanation on what transpired at the polling units on the election day.

The INEC representative who admitted that she signed and certified a BVAS report for the Petitioners, further said that the copy of the report was different from the one issued to the respondents, adding that she never indicated that the report issued to the Petitioners was an interim document which would be subjected to synchronisation.

She testified that the synchronisation was done after election result had been declared on July 17, 2022 and BVAS report had been issued to the Petitioners on July 27, 2022.

Done with the cross examination of the witness, Chief Olujinmi hinted that the irregularities identified in the BVAS report presented by INEC was just a tip of an iceberg, saying, there are loads of over-voting during the election.

Earlier, the tribunal had admitted as exhibits the load of BVAS machines and CTC of Form EC8 series brought to the tribunal by the INEC counsel.

After the Cross examination of the witness, the INEC counsel, Professor Ananaba informed the court that he would no longer be calling any other witness, as he applied to close his case.

Counsel for Adeleke, Onyeachi Ikpeazu subsequently opened his defence by tendering form EC8 series used for the election.

However, the tribunal raised issue as to the safe custody of the BVAS machine tendered and admitted in evidence, as the panel ordered that the machines should be kept in the Central Bank Vault in Osogbo.
The tribunal then adjourned till tomorrow, Thursday.

. I don't charadteristically abuse faceless people online. Opinions may be different but I respect individuals. I am not in APC nor in PDP.I however follow the Tribunal sittings.1 Oyrtola claimed results of the774 units were fabricated. 2 He presented the results he got from the INEC with differences in the results.3 INECclaimed the differences affected only six units .Other units with differences were where the BVAS machines have not been shchrominised. 3. Tribunal accepted the resukts given to APC by INEC after the elcty with major differences and irregularities. 4 INEC yesterday presented. results given to the public which is different from the resukts given to Oyetola after the election. 5 A lot of people report the orocedings daily : APC and PDP reporters write always in favour of their parties. I am interested in this case because it is the first time Tribunal will adjudge BVAS matters. Whatevey Tribunal Appeal Court and SC decide on the case is the concern of the parties involved and so be it.Till then let us keep following the sittings without any sentiment.

BVAS is on ttial now and it is good it happened in Osun.Osun case will assist in other elections. Results of 774 units given to Oyetola by INEC are different from the results given to Adeleke. Why? There are differences between BVAS records and BVAS reports. When both are different what do we do? Over to you Tribunal ,Appeal Court and SC. for decisions.
