You could have gotten a supervisor... What type of planning did you not adhere to

I intend going into it in large scale
Terrible planning.
Weed management: zero
Pest management: zero
Attention: 5%. Obviously I can’t leave my work hence the farm manager
Water: depending on rain which was scanty
Fulani: damn they did what I called : FATALITY in mortal Kombat.

Told myself I’m never gonna do any crop business due to that experience. Better animal than crop. Fulani did shege in that farm. Though now I use signals in trading bitcoins mostly on Saturday and Sunday then Forex in the evening.
I cash out more in bitcoin than Forex but the risk and gain is high. Please away from side hustle let’s keep the thread for peeps willing to learn Data science.

ProgrammingRe: Chronicle Of A Data Scientist/analyst by Ejiod(op): 6:29pm On Apr 30, 2020
A typical day in my 1st place as a data analyst was quite simple:
Tools used were
Python
Pandas
Matplotlib & Seaborn
Plotly
Excel
MySQL
PowerBI
ArcGIS.
Power point
Google sheet
Google Datastudio

A typical day as an analyst. You are always starring at data to get sense of what you would do. Your boss is on you asking you to do comparative analysis between cohorts. Correlation was the order of the day. Then PowerBI wasn’t active then, Matplotlib, seaborn and plotly was the main visualization tool.
Every Tuesday we always had meeting to present data and how the firm is doing. Your presentation skill must be classy and you have to master your data if not questions from novice and expert can throw you off balance. Such meeting last for 2hours. You just have to be prepared.

ProgrammingRe: Chronicle Of A Data Scientist/analyst by Ejiod(op):
This week has been very busy for me.
Thanks for peeps response on my mentions. It was true to the point..

After a long day today I Had to go out and get some fresh fruits. This period we have to take more fruits to boost our immune system. No time..
My regular vendor on sighting me was very happy. She already knew what I wanted... she packed Apples,Tangerines,Bananna. I then added watermelon..

In continuation to the previous post.

While doing my web stuff...., I started going through those tutorials... it was painful then because I had to use my bed time to study.
I did this for nearly 3 months non stop.
After getting my feet wet on python and machine learning model I started applying to firms.
While applying I went on to learn fundamentals of excel, then to advanced level. Even towards using VB on excel. After Excel I went to SQL..
Truth be told here: I’m sure I submitted my cv more than 50 times before I could even get an interview.. It was damn frustrating. There was one period I fumbled... Interviewer was telling me..: I can’t distinguish between plural and singular..
What did I say?? I was referring to data cleansing and in the middle mentioned datas instead of data. ..

The frustration was terrible but I kept on pushing till I got my first offer.

Cant track the dude having issues with map. So I had to open my drawer today this evening to take out this Windows for you. 1st sign up for Microsoft BI so you get ArcGIS visual added to your arsenal. Just drag the location to the well, that's when you have dragged the arcGIS viz.

Let me start from when I started as a web developer

Lagos as we all know is chaotic. You wake up as early as 4pm just so you beat the 3rd mainland traffic. No doubt nearly halve of guys staying in mainland but working in Island had to move early. You could spend at least 60-120mins there if you don't wake up early. Getting to office 1st thing that comes to mind is to review where you stop.
Then my boss would want me to learn Java by force. He would call me telling me,"Oya see, you need to learn this. See our projects, we haven't even completed halve of it and clients are on my neck "Me that I'm trying to be strong on my Javascript this man is telling me to do Java.
A typical day in the office is to open your visual studio code and write the simple HTML and CSS script in building the left over web page you should have completed. Then bootstrap and material design was very helpful. After building your script, I will then create a JS file building out forms.Though then we had a genius in Javascript then. The guy try for me sha. Fast forward It went on to using phpmyAdmin with phP.

The we had a project to use PhP, Laravel and node JS. Damn it, I hated PhP with passion. I had to force myself to learn while doing some Java stuff so I get proficient. It was dawn on me that I dont like where I was but had to manage till I get wet on my javascript skills. Then Angular was the big thing. I started doing Angular and Node js. Despite learning these stuff I felt within me it wasnt what I wanted. I've known myself as being very analytical in nature and also being a critical thinker. It was glaring I had to divert to data science but never knew how I could. My maths skills was pretty good. In fact then I dont know excel. My love for python started when I searched top 10 programming languages. The 1st was always Java and Javascript. Python then as 5th.
Naso I start to study python on wikipedia ooo. From there to youtube but tutorials on youtube was not too detaileed. Most times they direect you to udemy. In my mind I just knew I was not going to udemy because then udemy was fucking expensive. You could see course ranging from $200 to $300. Udacity sef was worse. I went straight to FTU. Infact to those doing night browsing I did it more than you!.... Then I bought 4 airtel SIM and would wait by 12am to download all the torrent file. SERIOUSLY THAT SITE THEN was a money saver.

For the next 2 weeks I will be sharing typicality how my daily routines looks like . My time line would start from beginning as web dev to data dude.
Major reason why I haven’t been writing is basically due to nature of what I’m doing. So much complexity to handle.

Is there anything like ""Python for data science" or we need to learn it from scratch.

Also, which model of learning would you advise: self or paid training?
Yes there is. Please google it you will see so many resources or even check YouTube for it.

Those are not full-fledged programming languages. You can't compare that to Javascript or Java. Or even R, which doesn't even compare to the two. You can practically build the whole of Tableau with Java.
Sir I didn’t say programming language. I only refer to programming/logic involved in running advanced computations.

Tried plotting graph with Seaborn but it wasn’t successful I guess there was a problem somewhere, so with the help of @emmy0z I was able to save the new dataset in CSV format then I did the visualization with Power Bi. I believe there’s still much to learn as far as Data Science and Machine Learning is concerned.
Nice one however on Standard practice it’s not advisable representing a view on pie chart if you have categorical variables with more than 5 dimensions.

Seaborn is built on top of matplotlib. If you will be using python, then you need seaborn. I use it all the time at work. PowerBI and tableau are squarely for visualizations or dashboards. There's little programming involved in those ones.
Did I hear there’s little programming involved...??
There is o.
PowerBI has DAX
Tableau has inbuilt calculations that needs to be tweaked.

The beauty of this is you understanding the concept of programming.

What data analytics tool would you recommend for everyone to learn regardless of career?

Can it be learnt while working?
Excel,
SQL,
Tableau or Power BI

Python if you wanna go deep on data manipulation and machine learning modeling

Finally you can learn it while working
RomanceRe: Why Are Girls From Rich Homes More Appreciative? by Ejiod(m): 7:56am On Apr 19, 2020
AfroKnight:
Dating broke entitled girls is a chore. I have been lucky to avoid them. Well, any guy would spot them right from the beginning. You guys are still in the talking stage and she’s always running out of airtime. Well, she can either buy her own airtime or stay away and stop telling me about it. It won’t ever go beyond that stage for me.

A fairly comfortable working woman (or even a rich babe) is the goal especially if she takes pride in spoiling herself with her own money.

You see these brokeàss greedy babes here? There is nothing you can do rehabilitate them. It reminds me of those beggars on the road who would return to begging the next day, even if you gave them 100K cash at once. Why?

Cos they believe such fortune would come again soon.

That’s how these broke babes think. Once they land a guy who spends on them, they think their chances are getting better. They stay on the lookout for a richer, more generous guy to latch on to. Loyalty doesn’t exist in their dictionary. This is probably because poverty has affected them so bad, they never want to smell it even from afar. That’s cool. But a transactional relationship is not the only way out of poverty.

Guys, if you are not one who thinks to trap a woman with your money, then avoid broke and entitled women. They add no value. You’d check your life after 6 months and find out that all you enjoy in the relationship is sex which you have to pay for anyway. That’s a loss. No motivation. No support. You can’t even ask for her opinion on issues cos she’s not interested in anything that isn’t money or gifts.

Go for a woman who works for her money and doesn’t bother you for mundane things like money for hair and shopping. Go for a woman whose financial plan doesn’t depend on the man she will date or marry.

Go for a woman whose lifestyle is supported by her own money. She will add value to your life.
Gbasgbos! You killed it bro.
