PoliticsRe: Gumi: I Have Nothing With Bandits Anymore Since FG Has Declared Them Terrorists by Ekealterego:
This guy is more clever than most of you think. No bandits were declared terrorist, only Hausa groups defending themself against invaders were declared terrorist.

Gumi's activity seem to be Jubril's wet dreams... The combination of him and the bald wirey bearded minister collecting our NIN is any terrorist's dream team.

Nigeria is comfortably in the hands of terrorist... and Fodio's dream of conquering even into the sea, closer than we realise.

If you do not believe me, read this excerpt. It written in almost 200 years ago!! This dream is still fresh in the their minds and they will not stop until they get it!

Read how they took over Sokoto and Kano.

Greatly flawed you say??
Lol, you don't even know about the IBO history. You talk about oji okudo "an nri man" you say. Now isn't menri the founder of Nri? And then in turn isn't menri the second son of ERI?
Lol get out, anyways that is not my business to argue, but go and learn your history well. You don't know your history, you are here to argue my history.
Now whatever you all chose to name your ethnic group has no business with me.
We chose to name ours after ijo and it is our business.
And did I hear you mention okrika kalabari, NEMBE. Etc huh
Lol,
First of all let me shock you, I am a Nembe man and we all trace our ORIGIN to ijo.
Our counting system is the same, our beliefs and language are similar. I can hear the Calabari and okrika man when they speak, I can hear the ijo man too, as well as the ogbia man.
Do not sit in your house in ABA saying what you don't know.
I stopped taking you all serious when Ekealterego said Nembe was Igbo, then I knew all of you have not even been to any of the clans you want to claim.
Such a pity.
Same with okrika, kalabari etc whom use to originally be a fishing camp till it morph into a town.
Do not think everyone here defending ijo is an ijo man (purely)
We have our various clan but our ethnicity is ijo.
What does clan mean? The Oguan nation is bigger than a "clan". It is an insult.

Epie-Atissa ethnic nationality deserves respect.

Hardly anyone will talk about this tragic event because these kids are not rich kids...

They will only talk about it if there is any political clout, elevation of celebrity status or advertisement that will result from discussing about it.

The police invaded this school shooting recklessly at kids who just witnessed the death of their school mates and were just peacefully registering their displeasure at the horror.

Consider the trauma these kids are experiencing. Yesterday, they witnessed horrible death, and the next day armed illiterate police stormed their school shooting recklessly.

They will all need free therapy when this is all over.

I was wondering why this news wasn't taken as seriously as the Sylvester issue. Might it be because the unfortunate event happened to poor students?

I saw police even go into the school, shooting in a school environment when traumatized kids were peacefully expressing their concerns over losing their schoolmates.

The police claimed they were investigating the death of Sylvester and then went ahead to cause the death of14 more and still went into the school to shoot.

Nigeria is the true definition of a zoo.

And it was not because there were intentions to cheat and marginalize Ijaw, but they simply don't have a habitable area of land where a capital could be sited. Their lands are mostly swamp. Remember they never owned lands in these places till recently, like 19th century, when they started trickling into the coastal communities.
Truly God blessed the Epie-Atissa people... how could the pure solid land be given to a people when the rest of the state is a bayou.

Bayelsa remains a tiny state with 8 LGA and have produced the president and vice President, yet is as good as one LGA in Kogi state.
I suggest the state be merged with Rivers since they can't offset their overhead.
Even their son that was president went there and removed clock and calendar in Aso Rock, that make him to forget how time flies and the urgency in lifting his state.
That's all I remember about Bayelsa.
that's no longer possible. Bayelsa from created from mainly River state. Adding Bayelsa to Rivers will complicate issues further.

Epie and Attisa, the major ethnic group inhabiting Yenegoa, the state capital are not Ijaws.
Epie Towns include Igbogene, Yenezue-gene, Yenezue-Epie, Akenfa, Agudama, Opolo, Kpansia-Epie, Amarata, Azikoro Village Etc.
Ogbia, the ethnic group of Goodluck Jonathan is more related to Kalabari.
The towns of Ogbia are imiringi, otuosega, otuoke, otuabaga, Emegha1 and 2, Amakalakala, etc
Ijaws are mostly Kolokuma-Opokuma, Southern Ijaw, Brass, Sagbama, Ekeremor and maybe Nembe

Ogun State

Since you want to break it down like that using dialect. Ogun State is probably more diverse. These main divisions also have subdivisions and a lot of towns:

Egba
Yewa
Ijebu
Remo
Awori
Not dialect, different ethnic group. Well, you can also break down dialect is they are very different.

However in the case of Bayelsa, they are totally 100% different languages. Like the difference between Hausa and Yoruba.

Nembe
Gbaran
Kalabari
Okrika
Ogbia
Etc

And you claim the entire over 60clans are pirates?
Seriously??
This is what a philosopher will tag "fallacy of hasty generalization"
You are shallow in reasoning, very shallow.

There are armed robbers in every villages and locations, so because a few engage in armed robbery, everyone did so too?

You are so shallow, a proper check up should be done on your brain.

You and all the people who liked and shared your stupid comment should be checked, infact the brain cells in your brain is less than 4.
No one is claiming Bonny.
Bonny belong to the Okoloama people who are an offshoot of ijo.
Yes there were a few pirates those days, and even many today (I agree) same as there are many 419ers and drug peddlers in Igbo land and even the 195 countries of the world.
Be warned!!!
Do not generalize hastily, you are not a 14 year old.
I'm not the one who generalised. The history books with eye witness accounts generalised it.

However, Ogbia ethnic nationality and Oguan Ethnic nationality was not mentioned as Pirates only Ijoh ethnic nationality were described as canoe dwelling wild, uncivilized pirates.
