Yes, pending but not marked X like that of VTJN passport application. The X or ✓ only comes up when an applicant's NIN has been verified by NIS.

You are giving false information.

You should be sure of any information you are giving as it can affect negatively.

The Op should not be worry as this how it supposed to be untill you are captured.

My 20-year-old nephew is temporarily staying with me. This is his passport tracking this morning (5 May 2023). He applied online in March 2023, and he selected 24 May 2023 for biometric or capturing at Ikeja (Alausa) passport office. With the newly introduced NIN verification fee of 1000 Naira, NIS can now verify passport applicants' NIN before they appear for biometric or capturing. The NIN service, fees and the new NIS process went live on 1st April 2023. The internet is there for you. Do your research diligently.

I was and am still concerned for the OP's plight, I hope he makes necessary correction before his appointment day. I still stand on my view, there’s disparity between the data provided on the OP's passport application form and NIN, hence the "X” mark.

My nephew didn't pay the mandatory NIN verification fee because he did not apply on or after 1st April 2023, his NIN will be verified when he captures and the box will either be marked X or ✓.

now, I'm married... my NIN details still state I'm single hope there won't be an issue with NIN VALIDATION if I choose Marital status as married during renewal

Please change or correct your marital status before applying because disparity between the data you provide on your passport application form and NIN will result to NIN error.

It is not so at Lagos High Court, Igbosere, Lagos Island.

I would suggest that you get the guarantor's form stamped at the High Court before your appointment day. To be on a safe side, fill every part. If you have any questions on how to fill the guarantor's form, feel free to ask me. DO NOT TYPE. The form must be filled in blue or black ink.

There's no cause for concern here. Before you go for capturing tomorrow, make sure there's no disparity between the data provided on your passport application form and NIN.

So after getting all the required docs in respect to this and was about to commence with registration, Hanty gave me a shocker that the expired passport is missing asin (Lost).

At this point I don’t even know whatelse to do because I’ve checked thru the portal and can’t see anything relating to requirements/procedure of lost passport.

Is there any last play on this boss or I should inform her to proceed with the officer.

REQUIREMENTS FOR LOST PASSPORT

Hard copy of completed online application form.

Letter of application containing the details of the loss incident

Lost passport’s police report extract.

Report from the Fire Service (in case it is lost in a fire outbreak).

Sworn affidavit from a Magistrate or High Court (for deposed Passport).

Proof of payment.

Two (2) passport photographs (colour).

Applicant should provide Passport Number of lost Passport.

No, guarantor is not one of the requirements for passport renewal.

A Nigerian with no criminal records can act as guarantor. It is not compulsory (that) he or she is well travelled, but must have a valid Nigerian passport.

Look, if you fail to act decisively today, your daughter will resent you tomorrow for not protecting her enough from your wife.
