html is really, really boring though You can't do anything with it. It is like someone telling you to start programming by writing documents in Microsoft Word. To start programming, obvious as this may seem, it is best to start with a programming language. Not a language for organizing text (html) |
www.github.com. Just browse for code there in your favorite language. Many major projects are hosted there. |
Up Unilag students! |
And how can I forget Instagram, lol. I really like that app a lot. |
Just want to hear some recommendations from you guys on apps. I like: Dropbox (reading documents) Skype (calling folks in Europe and Nigeria for free) Friendstream (Facebook and Twitter feeds) What apps do you guys like or use a lot? |
I bought mine brand new in 2007, and strongly regret it. I should have bought used. So much better value for money to buy used ![]() Oh well, you live and learn. Point taken thought about Nigeria aging cars prematurely |
You made a great choice by picking Python btw. It will accelerate your development as a programmer. Less time wasted on tedious details that don't matter that much. |
1. Stick with one language, learn it well. 2. Read the source code of good programmers/well-written projects on Github. 3. Learn to document and test your code. 4. Solve programming puzzles. |
Depends on your background. If you already know Java, C++ or some other language with very similar syntax, won't take you more than a few weeks to learn C#, at least enough to work on a few projects. If learning from scratch (but know how to program), will take some more time, but probably no more than 2 months. |
Jarus: Same ship.1.5 years is too frequent man. I've had my current car for 5 years now, and (hopefully) will keep it for another 7-10 years. Just buy a very reliable car and keep it for a long time. |
java programming is about tediousness, verbosity, and general unhappiness for a programmer |
Babzilla: 0%. Whats the use when one will die somedayI think you need a bit of a safety cushion if you get sick, out of work, etc. And in the long term, at some point you'll be old and be retired. You'll need some savings to live on (unless you are just planning on your kids as your retirement ) |
Not that much unfortunately. 10-15%. Expenses are high relative to my income right now. But my monthly savings will increase a lot in the near term. |
I am better than the leaders that I condemn, yes. |
na wa for this country ![]() |
None of the ones I've dated care about that type of stuff. But they tend to be frugal and not materialistic or big spenders. |
lmaooo Alright, security guard it is, then |
Heh. Reminds me of an incident I was involved in like that about ~2 years ago. Some dumb broad running her mouth, and me and her boyfriend ended up fighting as a result.. |
Thor: Africa accounts for only about 4% of global air traffic, its accident rate is 25%, which is six times worse (less safe) than the average world rateThanks for those #s. But how are you defining "accident rate", that it is 25% and the global average I guess is ~4%? |
Sure, why not. But I don't recommend for any woman to fight any guy for real, lol. |
lmao why is a lady fighting dudes anyways? ![]() |
Last time I saw you, you werent that big o. Steroids? My parents commented on it too.Not too sure what I can do about it at this point. I don't want it to turn to flab, so presumably need to keep doing it. I'll just up the amount of cardio I do, I guess...start swimming a few times each week. |
lmao @ hulk |
Interesting. Anyway, it is a two-way street. Nobody is innocent in this. AAs sometimes don't like Africans, and Africans sometimes look down on AAs. As for me, a lot of my early negative experience in this country were from AAs. Never had any major problems with white folk before in my life. However, it would be quite unfortunate if I'd decided to use those early negative experiences to color all future interactions.. |
Gay or not, all I know is that they are really funny lol. |
RIP to the dead. May tragedies like this be averted in the future. |
Planes don't crash as frequently in other places as in Nigeria, I reckon. This one now. Wasn't there another one like 3, 4 years ago? The rate seems to be higher in Nigeria than elsewhere.. |
95 views and only 1 response?? Bro be nice, am your only friend!
lmao ![]() This Cork guy...hilarious fellow |
Andro Blaze: Here are better links explaining the billlmao |
Aero contractors i've heard nothing but good things about, personally. Then again, my dad tells me that Dana was also supposed to be good ![]() Na wa for this country |
