So I'm out of town at my parents house for the week.

And I've come to the conclusion that if I still lived with them, my social life would kind of suck.

Like, how exactly does one go about dating and bringing guests over if you live with your parents or family?

I've never been in this situation fortunately since I've been out of the house ever since I started dating (19 or 20 was when I started "dating", I would say).

Judaism is a small religion. Mostly only practiced by Jews. Half of whom are atheists or agnostic..

Reading that article made me realize that despite the problems that we think we (Yoruba and Nigerians more generally, I suppose) have, there are others with even more daunting challenges to face.

Personally I doubt their ability to maintain independence in the long run.

Definitely rooting for them, though.
