That's not what I was saying. Honestly, I didn't they they would ever "catch" him and I could have cared less. I've never felt sorry for the US when it comes to all the terrorist incidents that has happened involving them and I will never feel sorry for them.
Hrm. This made me pause. Sort of the same issue I had with fstranger. You live in NYC right now, yes? You live in the US? Doesn't that alone mean they command at least a little bit of your loyalty? If not that, at least neutrality? Maybe this analogy is wrong. . . but if I'm living in somebody else's house, I feel I owe them something, especially when it involves them and their enemy. Even if the guy who replaces him doesn't have as much knowledge, the point is, it will NEVER stop.Agreed. Won't stop, but they've been weakened. |
Heh. There is/was no battle to fight, dude. . . there is nothing to discuss between you and I. As I said in my earlier post. . . going to be more selective about who I interact with on this site. Just as I don't debate politics with rednecks here in the US, it doesn't make sense to debate everyone on this site. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't mock if someone else chooses to smack you ![]() |
hehe nice chatting with you too Enjoy the meal. . . and don't get fat from it ![]() |
^-- damn that was kinda cold ![]() |
rokiatu:Oh, lol ![]() Regarding Liberian. . . you guys have said this before at least a few times that you arent naija. Even in that one thread that Hotie Tima started about some guy whose GF wouldn't let him hit ![]() My only ids are DapoBear, eku_bear, and ekt_bear. All with "Bear" in 'em. . . I kinda like that animal a lot. |
@Inked Nerd: So you think it'd have been better to just leave him be? ![]() Or what are you saying? I think killing him was the right thing to do. Yes, he'll probably be replaced. . . but the guy who replaces him will have lost lots of knowledge, access to funds (OBL is/was a very rich guy), access to networks of supporters, etc. |
So you guys know each other in RL? How long have you guys known each other? Did you meet in Liberia, or in the country you are in now. . .? |
Who is this EK fella |
that's a posh area, so they might have access to some amenities not commonly found elsewhere in the country.
Hrm, so he told me he didn't think it was actually that posh. He thinks it'd be better to execute the idea in Lekki. Anyway, there are a few other sites in naija near where the pipeline runs that you can get this (again, this is from the Shell naija site). The caveat of course is that 200 Mcf of gas is a lot. This is what makes it impractical . . . not the actually delivery. |
@Sagamite: Fair enough. I'm hoping that ujujoan and ifyalways will end up commenting on this thread and be very specific. I can only comment on the general impression I've got from reading that forum (and some other sites) over the past several weeks. So I certainly could be wrong. . . let your rating stand. At least til those two (who are on the ground now) comment. |
Ha! This is priceless coming from you. Someone who knows nothing about Nigeria has the audacity to talk to those who understand Nigeria. Just like your laughable statement about having a private pipeline to your house.
Well, it says it on the Shell Nigeria website, that delivering gas to your site is a product they offer. And then I called them to confirm that what their website says is true. . . from what the guy told me over the phone, anywhere within 500 meters of the front gate of Covenant University in Ota, you can get them to deliver gas to you (assuming you'll agree to buy 200 Mcf of gas per day. Granted, this is probably too much gas for your typical homeowner. . . )Anyway, this is part of the reason I'm skeptical of some of you who claim to understand Nigeria. . . most of ya'll haven't impressed me much. It would be like listening to your typical American redneck to get an insight into how America works ![]() |
Hehe: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5f/Scarecrow_of_oz_cover.jpg Paying a visit to the Wizard worked out for this guy. . . |
^-- I was at the gym, didn't really feel like going home and cooking ![]() So ended up going to Chipotle and getting a burrito, lol |
@EzeUche__ : Truth be told, I don't much care what you and Beaf think. I have to be a bit more selective about who I interact with on this site. . . no point interacting with people w/o brains. |
Sagamite:Nope, he was reelected in 2010 (iirc). So he is a year into his second term. Regarding how he is disliked, from what I've read from folks like ifalways, ujujoan (and other indigenes), he talks a lot, but doesn't back it up. They don't feel that he is actually making any impact. Basically read any of the threads describing the election between Ngige and Akukyili. Or browse through the Yahoo group AnambraWorldForum. That will give you a pretty good perspective. |
You've got the wrong idea. . . ain't nothing like that, lol ![]() I have a girl, like her a lot, think things are going well. If I was planning on doing something that could be considered cheating (with you, who lives not only in a different country, but a different continent), then I'd certainly be more discreet than I'm being now ![]() I was just curious about you, wanted to ask some questions. |
What potential can there be in Peter Obi who has already completed 5 years of his term, and is strongly disliked by his citizens? You realize that this Anambra central election was to some extent a referendum on him? |
Yes, it was good. Terrorists must be killed and/or brought to justice. If some use this an excuse to try nonsense, then they'll be retaliated against forcefully. |
I wasn't sure if you were going to answer or not. . . but the place I wanted to get food from was about to close ![]() Anyway, you should come on AIM one of these days. |
Fstranger: I was away eating dinner, otherwise i'd have addressed this earlier. Your position is absolutely wrong and immoral. A man cannot enter another man's house and then celebrate/praise his host's enemies. You owe the USA your loyalty. But if you aren't willing to give them their due, then at least be silent. It is absolutely wrong to be living a country, benefiting from it and praising its enemies. It is disloyal and disgusting. |
Hehe, I'll take that as a no, then ![]() |
aol instant messenger? |
Are you ever on aim, rokiatu |
Are you just fvking around or actually serious? Man I hope you are just joking. You need to chill out and make sure you don't say any of this type of stuff in public, it'll get you in a lot of trouble. Wait til you are safely in Nigeria at least. |
^-- Then leave the land of the terrorists and go back to Nigeria. You cannot be going to school the land of the terrorists and insulting your host. If you don't like this country, you are free to leave. |
zstranger:Which muthafucking brother do you have in Somalia? Or Iraq? Man, fvck all of those dudes, stop all this nonsense. US decided to help out those dumb Somalis, all they got for their trouble was wahala. US's policy from now on needs to be to let all these countries rot. . . not bother lifting a finger to help 'em. Regarding Iraq. . . you mean the same guy who supressed both the Shiites and Kurds, genociding both (if I'm not mistaken)? Both of those groups (who form an absolute majority of the populace) benefited from the US toppling Hussein. Anyway, Osama had no leg to stand on. He and his family were poor immigrants from Yemen. They were MADE in Saudi. To then threaten the interests of a country that MADE you, lifted you out of poverty is utterly distasteful to me. |
At least show some respect for the country you live in. Even if you don't view yourself as American, very rude to insult your hosts. |
^-- Amen to that. |
WTF is wrong with you, Zstranger? Not appropriate to joke about that type of stuff. Dude was a terrorist and killed a lot of people. Directly hurting the country you live in now. |
Jonathan should beef up security in the North because Boko Haramites and Almajiris are looking for the slightest excuse to strike Southerners and this is a perfect one.
If those dumb Boko Harams and Almajiris riot over this, Jonathan should wipe them out off of the face of the earth ![]() |
REALITY101:Damn. You had that many relatives on that flight? ![]() |
