Where in Ekiti do they grow this stuff. I'm going home in less than 2 years, I wanna get high in my own state. I hear Ekiti igbo is stronger than SE or Ondo's own.
I honestly don't know. Next time I go, I'll find out. It cannot be that hard to find. I remember, my dad's driver got jailed for smoking at bar beach My dad had to bail him out, pay like 5K naira to free him. It was very funny. |
@EzeUche: Naw, Mexico is cocaine. That is the major reason all that violence is happening there. I found this interesting: In an October 15, 2010 article, former Surgeon General of the United States, Joycelyn Elders voiced her support for legalization of marijuana:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_cannabis @koruji: Interesting! Didn't know that. Yeah, I wouldn't recommend smoking at all if under 18-19. Or pre-puberty. We had some kids in the neighborhood I grew up in who did; they ended up turning out pretty badly ![]() |
Map of marijuana laws by country: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fd/World-cannabis-laws.png God bless South America, Australia, Russia, Spain and Portugal, and parts of the USA ![]() |
Cocaine is different, that is a hard drug. The penalties for cocaine are going to be much harsher than that for marijuana. Marijuana isn't really dangerous. Illegal, but not dangerous. Cocaine is both illegal and very dangerous. |
Naija is probably a good place to become a marijuana farmer though. Not too many police around, lots of rural places you can do what you want w/o being bothered. Probably the penalty for being caught isn't too high? Maybe a fine? Probably no jail time. |

Anyway, what do these NDLEA agents expect? You expect a poor man to be growing rice when there is a far more lucrative crop he can plant on his land? ![]() Free them jor |
That is not true. Some of the most intelligent people in the world enjoy it.
Body chemistry works differently for different people. For some people, it makes them dumb. Others, it has no effect. Plus if you have a job that subjects you to random drug tests, I think it takes many months to come out of your system. So not a good idea if you'll enter the job market. . . most of these companies do drug tests |
I always wonder, after burning those cannibus, do ppl around the area get high?
Not shown in the background of that picture are the NDLEA agents getting high off of the burning weed ![]() |
Nah I cannot afford to smoke. Makes you dumb. Not a good idea to do it while in school, puts you at a disadvantage. |
I thought Ekiti had the title for the best weed in naija ![]() We need to step up our game, then. . . |
very funny thread ![]() |
I'm glad. Let them investigate it rather than sweeping it under the rug. |
Hilarious thread ![]() |
^-- completely fine. It is a new trend by youtube. To shorten the length of links, maybe? |
Yes, experimental physicists can handle advanced physics coursework, but I doubt that your typical experimental biologist/bioengineer will be able. I see. I took complex, but have forgotten most of it. |
Physics is too much for his brain. He is an experimental scientist. PhysicsMHD: BTW, have you taken real analysis? |
bashr4:Fashola doesn't like hot-linking I guess. Rightclick and open in new window/tab. |
I'm done. This was entertaining, but I actually cannot waste too much time on it, lol. Nchara, you are a joke. I will remind you every day for the rest of the time I post here of your Crop Production degree, lying about your funded MBA, lying about being a professor, lying about the mass email as evidence of you being a professor. ZnO:Which grant? Were you the PI (or co-PI)? Your postdoctoral advisor's name is the one who got the grant, you were just the lab monkey who had to do all the work.Lying, fraudulent-@ss. |
ZnO:You fvcking slowpoke. He, like I, is not on your level. He has no incentive to post anything. Anyway, you should know already that he is your superior. From what he has revealed, he has a 1st degree in Physics from a top 10 US school. This requires more brainpower than getting a degree in Crop Production. Useless fool. |
He is a fucking JOKE. My older distant cousin, his father died and we had to support him through college (my father has been sending them money for 20 years now or so.) He at LEAST managed to complete a degree in engineering. And this is a poor orphan boy. He has been working for a bank in Nigeria for a few years now, wants to come to the US to get a PhD What excuse do you have for your incompetence, Nchara? My cousin, his papa died when he was young. He is from the very poor Ekiti State. Yet he managed to do engineering. What excuse do you have, you fvcking joke? You are an embarrassment. |
My friends will go on the job market and immediately be able to land jobs without post-docing (well, the best ones, not all of them.) You on the other hand (at least, reading through your web of deception and lies) have been post-doccing since 2008. No job! ![]() The tough job market dey pain you, eh? ![]() If you could go back in time, no degree in Crop Production, I guess? ![]() |
I am not on your level. I'm too prominent and too easily to find if I post my information. Sorry, but I'll keep it private. Anyway. . . it must really PAIN you to know that when you eventually do finish your post-doc and go out on the job market, you'll be competing against my peers and friends. People who are looking for the same faculty jobs as you, but dual majored in say bioengineering and physics in undergrad, from top schools. You were wasting your time on Crop Production, some of them were unlocking some of the fundamental secrets of life ![]() Anyway, maybe you'll be able to get a faculty position in Nigeria. Crop production. Olodo. |
Why are you so fraudulent, btw? A guy lying on this forum about a mass-email he got, and trying to make it out as if he was a professor. On that same thread I posted, as of a year ago you claimed you were not yet tenure-track (unless you've logged in and modified the post.) Now you claim to have been tenure track since 2009. . .while you were doing an MBA. Fraudulent-backside, lying-backside, crooked-backside, insecure-backside NEGRO. You are a disgrace. Get out of my sight. |
ZnO:Haha. I have a few buddies here who do bioengineering. They are only students. . . but would eat a Crop Production undergrad "professor" like you for lunch. Nigeria is not America. We are no respecters of persons here, or of people with crop production degrees. |
Post-doc and professor while doing the funded MBA ![]() Fraudulent @ss Igbo ![]() Anyway, you are beneath me. Crop production. Pshew. |
If Nchara ever insults anyone here again, please remind him of Crop Production. And here I was thinking you majored in purely biology/environmental stuff! So you were too stupid to answer the hydroponic farming question I asked you. . . yet you studied a directly related topic for your first degree? Useless graduate. |
ZnO:Look at this slowpoke. What does "much like" mean to you? In your simple and weak brain, does "much like" mean "exactly like"? I'm not going to stay in academia once I finish my degree, the plan is to make money. But nevertheless, the CVs would look similar (minus the tenure track stuff you mentioned that is obviously fake.) Olodo. Crop science graduate. |
Dude. . . wtf are you so dishonest, Nchara? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-441857.192.html#msg6017259 How were you both assistant professor starting in 2009-2010 and doing an MBA at the same time? You want me to believe that you got an MBA to any decent school in the US, on scholarship with no work experience? And not only got in, but got a scholarship? Yes, you might have gotten an MBA from a sh1t school. But such MBAs aren't worth more than toilet paper; they don't unlock the elite jobs for you. Now, here is a quote from you: mekusxxx:You are a fucking joke. a BS in Crop Production? What type of fake degree is that? Useless olodo. Why didn't you study a real science? Or study engineering? Mental weakling. Crop science. Let's dissect your post further: I am so good that they call me professor even when I am not yet one. In all the mails I get inviting me to conferences, I am usually always refered to as Prof.OK jackass, I get the same invites too, where they mistakenly say "Professor." It is just an automated system; they scrape lists of names of previous conference attendees and then just send out a mass email. You are bragging about getting a mass email to submit to a conference? Frikking dumbass you are. Insecure, lying maggot. I would be insecure too if I got my first degree in crop production. How on earth can you talk sh1t to someone like me? Crop Production graduate! Jesu Kristi. I cannot even think of a leigitimate university in the US that offers a degree like that. No biology? No bioengineering? No chemical engineering? Petroleum engineering? Instead you chose Crop Production? Nchara, never in your life open your mouth again and disrespect anybody on this forum again. Useless crop science graduate. |
Hehe. If you haven't guessed yet Nchara, my CV looks much like yours. But more impressive, since I've went to better schools along the way (and am not getting my degree in agric, environmental science, or whatever the heck it is you do), and found time to do a double major in my four years of college. Congratulations though on getting a tenure track position. That is a nice accomplishment, if it is a top 20 or 30 school in your field. If it is a crappy school, then nice that you got a job doing what you enjoy, but not very impressive. Correction then; I hope that none of your students have come across your mad ramblings on this forum, lest they feel ashamed. |
