In other news, Federal Government has finally implemented the new salary package for NIMC. Started last month.

Nope, Customs pays better than those. Immigration & NSCDC pay 135K, I heard. Customs had a similar salary with FIRS before FIRS reduced theirs to 248K. But FIRS pays much more allowances, though

Hi guys, it's been a while. Just to clarify, FIRS didn't reduce theirs, itywas rather increased. Customs and FIRS are now on same salary scale or similar as it seems. FIRS pays 247k or so after all deductibles for level 10(entry level) . Same applies to Customs.

I have said it here many times that firs is always calling who ever they want to call for their letters. Stop expecting mass distribution of letters, is either you collect your money back from who ever you have paid or you move on. Infact Firs is currently recruiting again.

A friend has similar symptoms, the swelling started beside his throat on the neck like a goitre. He did a biopsy according to him but nothing was detected. Months later, his face swole up and he was having breathing issues and thought it was cattarh until one night, he couldn't breathe anymore, he was rushed to a hospital ASAP. Tests were carried out and nothing has really been diagnosed as the cause of the swellings but was given some speculative drugs I guess. Please any knowledgeable advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Age should be between 26/27. I don't know him to be a smoker or someone who takes alcohol.

NIS still ongoing.. NSCDC says nothing happens till after NIS is done. NIS merit list are presently on 3 months induction.. Maybe when they finish, NIS replacement and Slot candidates will get apls, do capturing and join the inductees in training camp. After then, NSCDC starts their merit list shortlisting.

Nscdc too started since 2019. My concern is that the same board that regulate both NIS and NSCDC on recruitment have completed the NIS recruitment that started 2020. Why is it taking them too long to complete Nscdc that started 2019?

NCOs started 2018, they are yet to conclude the recruitment. Immigration isn't over, replacement and supplimentary incoming as soon as next week if all goes well. I also hear rumours that something will happen in NSCDC next week.

Board in charge of ministry of interior issues apls for level 8 and above while individual agencies under same ministry issue apls for junior level officers.
But note: all successful applicants will be issued apls and captured in the HQ before you all report to individual state commands before finally, a 6month training.

The funny thing is nothing will significantly change for the common masses in the sates, more money for the governors and their cronies.

I have been picked by the agency now and schedule for training , my question now is can I tender d Bsc Certificate during the documentation while on training? and what effect will that have on my cadre?
People are advising me to take it along as they said agency usually ask for those with additional qualifications to submit during training.

I strongly doubt if they will accept additional qualifications during documentation. Whatever you applied with is often used for documentation.

Because ifs well known that NIMASA earns more than NCC, NNPC, DPR or that AMCON is a powerful place to work or that NPA "official" annual take up is more than 5mill.

Maybe he graded his using a method we don't know of unless he tells us. So let's not rush to conclusion

However, my Cousin was not invited for the second stage test since he didn't score up to 20/25. He is wondering if there is still hope for him. We are already on induction course, everyone dat documented were posted to their state of origin for 3month induction. As am talking to we are about 45 new officers for All cadres. We have spent about two weeks so far on the induction.

guess the apl is in batches for immigration. My friend got hers last week or so and has since done documentation... She's to report for 3 months course training on Monday

yes a list was submitted to the HR before the tests began... Someone was meant to forward his details before the submission but he was late, hence, told to wait for second batch. So I guess the majority of second batch is for those writing tests.
