I actually think Fabregas is more in the mould of Messi than Vela.

Hear me out first . . . there's a way the ball hits Fab and sticks to him, it's Messi-esque.
Also, without having any footwork, he could tip-toe through five players even without pace.
The shot-accuracy too, it's as Messi-esque as any Arsenal player goes.

Fibs! Which chances has Vela had? Has he started a league game this season? Coming on in injury time and being played out of position is not my idea of "many chances".
Vela's technique shytes on Bentdner/Walcott combined. HOLD ON TO THAT! cheesy
Those cameos are the only reason Walcott and Bendtner are still at Arsenal today.

Vela has definitely not proven himself in training for a desperate Wenger to pick Arshavin over him when we desperately needed a striker.

As I said, they both have things to hold on to . . . Vela's technique doesn't assist Arsenal in any way.
We have players like Diaby and Eboue as regular players, their technique is zero, shooting technique is not an important part of the Arsenal game.

Let's be frank with this, Vela has had many chances to prove what he can do.
We had a period where we had to use Arshavin as our striker, Wenger must have seen Vela in training to know that the short Russian will be better up front.
He might be gifted, but he's not got anything that can keep us expectant in the English game.

Bendtner just clocked 22 in January . . . we knew he had the physical presence that we know we'll still get at the end of the day.
Walcott is fast . . . at the end of the day, that kept us expectant.

But Vela is a type of player that you don't see anything in him that you can hold on to while you wait for his talent to shine. That's the problem we all have with him.
It's a risk, he's not the most intelligent player his age, he's not the fastest, he's not strong, he's not as hardworking as one would expect, he's got flair but who cares about that in England??
He looks like a player that will grow into a Berbatov at best.

@Rhymestein

So because you knew Tupac in 1995 means you actually listened to hiphop.
Now I see the problem here. . .

What direct punchlines did you see in Ether?? Quote five of em. It's been named the best hiphop beef song in history by many and it has only one or two punchlines.
If you spent less time 'acting' gangsta and actually listened to it, you'd know that easily.

I don't care about what you and your fellow stans think about it if you cannot bring an argument that holds water. You're talking bout him 'cleaning flow with omo' but in the same breath you praise Modenine for saying 'kick a verse' by 'kicking lyrics sheets that you poured on the ground' . . . hypocritcal.

And to say it lacks 'cohesion'?? Questioning M.I's delivery and structure on SWTD??
I don't know if it's just me but that Top 5 daft statements I've hear all year.

I'm seriously not in the mood to help you out, I can't spend hours on you when I could be getting head from sum chic.

There's hating and there's critical . . . hating is baseless, critical is with reason.
When I say sumn about any rapper, I point out things you can't deny . . . this stops me from sounding like you guys.

Nobody thinks SWTD is crap. Yeah, I said it . . .common haters are nobodies.

Aiye po gan?? Ill bliss??
You guys want to kill rap in nigeria.
#Boys are not smiling.
Everyone knows that with evidence from that song, Illbliss shouldn't be taking rap as a day job.
He was the anti-climax on that song. . . his voice is not just good for rap.
His delivery/flow is weak, he even even missed the beats in some parts . . . I think I'd have really loved it in the street-hop category for Terry-G.
His lyrics on that song are not top-notch either. . . comparing that to any song on that list is treason.

I'd pick Da Grin and 2shot over Illbliss anyday.
Music/Radio › Re: Nominees Hip-hop World Awards 2010 by eldee(m): 2:19pm On Apr 11, 2010
@Rhymestein
Stop embarrassing yourself . . . your hate for M.I is making you sound like a retard.
To you wordplay is only wordplay when Modenine is doing it.

If someone says three nouns and goes on to use the words in the completely different meanings . . . there's a word for it, it's called wordplay.

I'm a plane, I'm a rocket, I'm an eagle . . . that's from the Adventures of Lois and Clark . . . he then goes on to use the same words in different meanings . . . 'It's plain how I rock the desert eagle'.

You comparing that to the B.S spewed by Lupe?? Shame!!!
I don't care what you think about Owo Ati Swagger . . . you're being an M.I hater and you're trying to cover it up.

And let me pity and cure your ignorance . . . SWTD is not a beef song, people don't say 'I do eat beef but right now I'm fasting' and 'I'm learning to ignore sheet' in beef songs.

That aside, if you'll get your head outta Modenine's arse, you'll be able to find out that there's more to beefsongs that punchlines. I know you only started listening to hiphop with Modenine, but please listen to Ether.

That's how some slowpoke went to put 'Benitez like Rafa' on the worst lines thread. If not that I've seen a few reasonable Modenine fans, I'd be of the opinion that an IQ of 10 and below is a requirement to be a Modstan.
I'm tired of schooling you, go listen to Miley Cyrus if you're not smart enough to understand art in hiphop.

Why Did I Get Married Too??

I ended up asking myself, 'why did I go to watch that movie too??'.
Crap acting, cliche moments, loosely held plot, extremely not-funny jokes, poor directing in some parts.

There was a part where they all stayed together in one scene for what seemed like an hour, talking about their lives.
The least he coulda done was to switch between the men and the women and fuse the whole discussion into one.
I understand that it was adapted from a stageplay, but come on.

It was like watching a whole season of Girlfriends in one episode.

Even when it was almost the end and Janet Jackson's husband was unconscious in the hospital, she was crying and then she goes into this over-
dramatic thing of telling everyone to make-up their marriages, and guess what . . . they left the grieving woman and started kissing each other. grin grin

Bright parts of the all too familiar tale was the laughs . . . Tyler Perry's movies will get you laughing and make you forget everything else, the crazy woman is just hilarious, but she gets extra towards the end. grin grin

And the other thing that's ever present in Tyler Perry movies . . . sermons. Everyone in that movie is a preacher. Everyone knows how to handle the other's problems but not theirs. Highly predictable.

Well, we know Tyler doesn't care about the critics, African American women looking for the value of hope in movies will rush to the cinemas, young guys like me that would rather take a new catch to see a movie than listen to her talk about her ex-boyfriends will always be the plus-one. And Tyler does want he's planned to do, teach us the values he learnt growing up.

Watch out for Why did I get Married Again After Killing My last Husband?? grin grin

SWTD was a masterpiece. I hunger for M.I2 infact. Some of the nominations are pretty dodgy though. Why so many nominations for P square? Danger was a rubbish album in my book. Oh well, i see someone else thinks different.
I don't know how someone that claims to be using both sides of his brain will come out to say Somebody Wants to Die was 'nothing spectacular' but goes on to say Hiphop World Awards should nominate a song just because a 4-year old said 'put that song on repeat'.
