ayettymama:Nah . . . Tupac is not beyond you, but I think Miley Cyrus will be just right. I don't want you listening to Against All Odds at this age, it's got the parental advisory stamp on it. ![]() |
@Ayettymama Miley Cyrus just released a new album . . . I think you should try it out. This is beyond you ![]() |
DBR:I found D.Julien's flaw . . . storytelling. That's where J.Cole kills him. Rhymstein:When last did Mr Cool drop sumn worth listening to?? ![]() |
She says she was trying to bring out innovation from directors . . . well, she got fined for it. Just wanted to know what you guys think of the video. Publicity stunt, genius or sumn that had to be done to pass a message across?? |
Erykah Badu video uncut is one of the most famous point of discussion and most watched video all around and main reason for Erykah Badu to become the most watched video is the unclothed presentation of Erykah Badu on the road. And, just two days after its release, the video, which finds Badu walking around Dealey Plaza and stripping off her clothes until she ends up fully unclothed just feet from John F. Kennedy’s assassination spot (where, uh, SPOILER ALERT, she gets shot and killed), is turning out to be quite the controversial item, earning the attention of outlets as varied as CNN International, The Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly and New York Magazine (not to mention pretty much every music blog that exists) this morning, as even a cursory Google News search with Badu’s name reveals. http://news.mp3musicxone.com/2010-04-03/1552.htm [flash=450,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCaCIstoOsU&hl=en_GB&fs=1&[/flash] |
Rhymstein:And you think this one is a complement too?? ![]() |

WOW!!!She's from Mauritius . . . how exotic is that?? |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Retarded?? Here we go again with these wiki people. Of course it might have been groundbreaking, that doesn't mean it won't be crap in this day and age. My problem is when people say Nigerian rappers are not good enough and hail people like Slick Rick as the gods of rap. Leave sentiments aside . . . I'll name ten Nigerian rappers that are better at rapping than Slick Rick, are you on it?? |
bluespice:Mio se nkankan ![]() lalaboi:I trust you nah . . . now my fear don disappear. E sure me die. Infact I dey go find more trouble ![]() |

Mubz:It's simple, if you were actually an NLer, you would know a lot about moi, Borat, Lalaboi . . . you would even know Chamotex owns the relegation spot. That's if you'd seen this thread up to five times this season. I'm having fun maynne . . . you guys are the ones stealing my fun. ![]() |
Mubz:If it wasn't about competing against people we know, I might as well start sending the code to people on top of the National League. |
I'm about to see Malena . . . taking a big risk. It's so much easier with music . . . listen to the first five tracks on an album and you know how wack it is. With movies you're taking two-hour long risks. |
Next year, we should have post count regulations for people to be allowed to get in. I'm tired of losing to faceless people. ![]() |
@Orikinla You're bringing a quite interesting angle into this. In my opinion, Nigerian artists are getting what they deserve for their input into society. Afterall, it should be more about passion and affecting/expressing emotions and not money. Do you consider a system like America where people get paid millions just for being the face of a message a good one?? I actually think that's extremely wrong . . . and I'm being as modest as the word goes here. In my opinion, saying musicians should be able to buy N150mill houses, says more about our moral state than our music. How many doctors and lawyers in Nigerian can afford that comfortably?? In my own opinion, relative to the state of the country . . . hiphop artistes/public figures in entertainment are earning enough for what they do. It will be unreasonable (as it already is in Europe and America) for them to earn Jay-Z figures for making music, moreso in a country where doctors still struggling to make ends meet. Wealth with contentment is great gain. |
iice:Maybe it's just the fact that I was looking for sumn more 'Hangover' for Easter Sunday. |
@topic The Reader So far so good. iice:Quirky to me is just wack. If you're gonna make a comedy, at least let it be funny. . .lol |
Bourne After Reading. I'm not gonna lie . . . this is wack. See it like this, I watched it so others dont have to waste two hours of their lives instead of doing sumn more productive like watching paint dry. |
I've got a sleeping disorder . . . always wake up before 11 |
THE AMAKA:Erm let's see I'm only trying to charm you and then scam you into giving me your credit card details. Like come on . . . didn't I make my intentions clear enough?? ![]() |
THE AMAKA:Well . . . . .?? ![]() chic2pimp:Hehehe you guys were all evil maynne. How do you feel now seeing them after many years. . . because I know I'm still going to order a hit on one of those guys if I found out where they lived. ![]() |
Keys, Jay-Z 'Give up on Football Anthem' Alicia Keys and Jay-Z have reportedly given up on writing a song for the World Cup. Keys, who will be performing at the World Cup Kick-off Concert in June, had planned to write an anthem with the rapper especially for the event. "If we did a record about soccer it would be obvious we didn't know much more about the sport than who David Beckham is," the Sun reports her saying. The concert, which takes place on June 10, will also have performances from Black Eyed Peas, Shakira and Cheryl Cole. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a211731/keys-jay-z-give-up-on-football-anthem.html |

chic2pimp:I never became an evil senior. I got transferred to a private school where everyone was a richkid. I wasn't planning to be one anyway, it's just plain unfair man. ![]() |
THE AMAKA:So when should I expect it?? ![]() |
THE AMAKA:Of course I'll see it, you'll show me because you're a very nice person. And it will be unfair to prevent me from seeing Miss NL's runner-up. ![]() It's some chic like that named Smurf. According to the committee . . she's NL's best kept secret. ![]() |
chic2pimp:My troubles were just for one year . . . the next year, my cousin became a prefect and my aunty became VP, all my troubles were over ![]() |
