Afrocynic is a battle rap champ
She's murked half the people you know on the battle rap threads one time or the other.

TYPICAL !!!!!!!!!!

Of all the messages in the song, u could only see that line. maybe u will say Tupac line THE BLACKER THE BERRY THE SWEETER THE JUICE is also racist as well.
That would make sense if not for the fact that all the video chics in 'We are African' were light-skinned multiracial ladies.
It's the do unto others rule . . . Nick Griffin will be crcified if he came out to say 'when you sit on the sun bed you turn red, but we get blacker but we don't get burnt'

You seem to forget that thre's always a next Gameweek
I say her team and got thinking . . . that's going to make sumone really scared.
Every FPL team needs and overhaul every three months . . . why?? players lose form

She's got a team that'll earn points for at least two consecutive months without transfers.
Apart from say Fletcher . . . the rest are point spinners.
And she's got the geese with golden eggs in Vermalen and Evra. . . Man Utd starts defending in winter.

AfroCynic:
I beg to differ, it is exactly what you say that gets the crowd hyped. I listened to the the entire thing and these are my top three

Black Thought
Joe Budden
Em.

I dunno, dude does not do it for me anymore, I loved SSLP but since then, it has been downhill.
Hehehe . . . and who got the highest noise levels??
'my fans swear by my name' . . . bo hoo, pity no one's doing that now. Blackthought was overshadowed by Em on that cypher.
'I'm ML King, you're Rodney' . . .WTF?? Streetwize can do better than that.
Music/Radio › Re: Jjc Wan Kill Person With This Single by eldee(m): 1:21pm On Nov 01, 2009
What message?? This is racist bullshit.

'If you mix some milk with some coco puffs, you'll get caramel afro puffs'

Are you having a laugh?? I know how I'd feel if the head of the KKK did this, why do we think we have a right to be racist??

AfroCynic:
Lol, are you high? A 36 year old man rapping about the size of penis and making out with Taylor Swift? Hello? Black thought rapped and flowed like a real MC's supposed to. Em stays talking about drugs and rape, Lol. His flow was ill, as usual but his subject matter left me cold.
It's a cypher . . . you're allowed to spew anything you're comfortable with.
It's not about what you say, it's how you phrase it . . . he made homo-rape sound like driveby shootings.

Lol! Nas have never been a superstar rapper, dude sells plat or 2x at most. Let me tell you how now that 'Ether' was the best diss, your man Jay admitted it!!! Shyt!. To 'Ether' someone is now verb! Anyone, I ain't gonna be on here arguing here with you dudes, I know what I know, Jay got stung by Nas, he admitted it and he was almost crying on Hot 97.
Of course, I said that already . . . but who had the personal ish?? Hov did.
Nas built a career round the beef. . . he made references to it in every album till Untitled

Ja had the line that stung Eminem . . . but Eminem destroyed him.

AfroCynic:
This is why your opinions on HH is suspect to me, do you know that the about verse is 100% true? How many times have you heard Jay Z said he has been making money since '88? Do you know that Jay bit Nas' style? Dude had zilch in 88, no do, no click, no hoes. But I loves me some Jigga.
Hov will be the first person to tell you that . . . he talks about how the only chics that said 'I love you' to him were his mum and his nan.
Nas never told us bout Carmen . . . about his niggas' ballerina clothes, bout his crap sales . . . One Mic Vs Oochie ooche Wallie wallie . . . self explanatory.
Hov had more shit on Nas, everyone knows that.
Music/Radio › Re: BET Awards Cypher: Mos Def, Blackthought And Eminem by eldee(op): 1:00pm On Nov 01, 2009
AfroCynic:
'In 88, you were getting chased from your building, calling my crib when I even give you my numbers' Dude, this is the same 88 Jay would have us believe he was some drug lord, lol. Nas blew up his spot on so many level.
Jay-Z brought pics of QB niggas in ballerina costumes . . . that's murder grin grin
He bleeped his babymama . . . there's proof for that
'Is it ochie-ochie wally wally or One Mic??' . . . well documented
He's gone on to have a better career . . . there's proof

Real needs proof . . . real is going personal, real is digging undeniable shit . . . that's what Ja did to Eminem, that's what Hov did to Nas.
All that 'you sold your soul for riches' will win a rap beef . . . the real stab is the things that remain long after the beef is over.

You have no sense of irony do you? The fact that Jay Z had to make a Blueprint 2 speaks volumes!
What's real?? 'where you abused as a child, scared because they called you ugly'?? or 'I left condoms in your baby seat'??
Music/Radio › Re: BET Awards Cypher: Mos Def, Blackthought And Eminem by eldee(op): 12:43pm On Nov 01, 2009
AfroCynic:
Muder Inc. were destroyed because they were truly wack. Jack's diss to Em was real, real cold. As far as Jay dropping the realest ish, that is a damn lie! I actually think Takeover is the better diss but Ether was realer,
You said Ja had the best line with the Halie diss . . . even Em admitted that it was only good because it went personal from then
Jigga did the 'I came in your Bentley backseat, Skeeted in your Jeep, left condoms on your babyseat ' and the 'one good album in ten years' lines.
That's as real as real gets . . . even after the beef, Jay-Z's lines still hit deep.

Murder Inc artistes were on top of every chart . . . they had really good ish
Ashanti was what Beyonce is today . . . how cana group that had Ja, Ashanti and Rah Digga be crap??
Eminem murked the Inc . . .there's no question about that.
Music/Radio › Re: BET Awards Cypher: Mos Def, Blackthought And Eminem by eldee(op): 12:28pm On Nov 01, 2009

Ok, you think Em won, I think Ja won, let's agree to disagree, ok. Lol, Em sells the most, just like Elvis sold the most but know I would not put on Elvis if I wanted to hear real rock and roll, you dig?
Come one . . . you can't win a battle with just one bar.
Jay-Z dropped the realest shit in the Hov V Nas battle, did he win??

That Hail Mary track did more than end Ja's career . . . it destroyed Murder Inc.

Nah . . . you can't use that 'shock value' excuse here, it's a cypher to start with.
It's each emcee getting about two seconds to spit their illest . . . Eminem, the plonker he is probably freestyled.

You're prolly not used to this but in cyphers u're allowed to spit whatever you find comfortable . . .
Em's a lyrical god . . . no one can deny that, he came harder than we've seen him do in years.

He threatened to hit a rapper, sedate him and stitch him back before he has enough time to flinch.

A break from the Rampage series brings us back to ground level to move away from the stereotypical Warcraft Battle.
Here we have two of the illest newbies since H.J going head to head for one thing . . . rubbing the oppnent's name off NL battle rap record books.

This is bigger than revenge . . . this is two netcees gambling with their careers, this is a battle for credibility . . . this is WARCRAFT: THE FORGOTTEN.

This battle is the difference between a kickstart to a battle career and a forgotten name, this is it, AQUAMAN VS MYKALI

Culture › Re: Should We Continue Paying Bride Price? by eldee(m): 11:49am On Oct 29, 2009
Ujujoan:
Dont you get it? Bride price is not necessarily about Paying for the bride. If you really want to pay for your wife, how much can ever be enough? It's a symbolic action that reiterates the already established fact that a man goes to the father of the bride and 'collects' her! The money's a symbol of what he gives in return. The tradition is based on the fact that a father giving away his daughter gets something in return. As belittling as it sounds, (collecting money to give your daughter), it's one of the traditions that makes this world a Man's one!

In my place, if you pay N1,000 for bride price, the brides family collects about N20 and returns the N980 to the family of the groom. What are they saying? I'm not selling my daughter but I accept your token!

With or without the bride price, I'll still bear the man's name and perpetually be under him! Why does the bride price have to be an issue? Is it becaue it's money-related?

I'm sure most women will gladly forsake the so-called bride price if they get to keep their name, but does it work that way? No! Why dont we pay groom's price so that you guys can bear our name? undecided

Abeg you guys should stop making a mountain out of a mole hill jor! angry
This is what happens all the time . . . you talk about sumn and people come out and give slight variations.
I was talking bout child abuse and someone went, my mum pays the child's parents.

It's a symbol that used to mean sumn . . . just like the n-word, it's prolly harmless in some places right now, but the history attached to it is shameful.
It's a step at a time . . . but one thing I'm sure of is that there'll never be any gender equality in Africa till men stop paying for their women . . . 20kobo or £1mil.

The fact that many tribes still see women as an investment just goes to prove my point.
A guy just admitted on this thread that not paying it makes him feel like he owes the woman . . . you won't abuse someone you owe would you??

THE AMAKA:
@ eldee
like i said before, you cant compare thos evil KILLING rituals to paying money to your soon to be wife's father.
how can you compare such evil acts to that of paying money.
its harmless!!
unless you are just being stingy and dont want to pay a kobo.
thats fine, you are free to admit it. tongue
It's about the fact that it's a symbol that used to and sometimes still represent the view of women as a property.
The fact that it's given to the girl's father goes to imply that she was at first a property of her father.
It's a clean trade . . . and it's been a reason for abuse against women for centuries.

To me . . . trading women is as bad as the slave trade and killing twins and every other evil practice we justify in the name of tradition.

stillwater:
No I don't like the idea of being priced. And sorry you can't afford me if there's a price on my head. tongue
I sent my people to study this thing . . . they told me about the winter sale period.
So I'm planning to chill now and wait till February so I can get the 50% discount. grin grin

It's not like we didn't expect this . . . but we all have to admit that H.J gave us a good battle.
His alphabetical slaughter was out -of-this-world and both verses were top-drawer.
Mailmalc told me bout his early days . . . H.J's progress is faster than anyone else.

And that's how it ends, another name on Ibime's list.
