ceaser: ![]() I also have items that have been stuck at "Handover to airline" for 2 weeks now. |
genius43:Yeah...it was from 2016 to late 2017. One had to arrange his shopping cart according to order of priority. No spontaneous buying allowed. ![]() |
GTbank sef... From $3000 to $1500 to $500 within the space of one week. It's like we are heading back to December 2016....$100/month. #Return of the Appeals.

frisky008:Praise da Lord brethren... I have a testimony. My Redmi Note 4 is heading to its 3rd year in my hands. It has been my daily driver since 2017 and within this period, it has never been switched off for more than 3 minutes at any point in time, meaning it's been running steady for more than 2years and it's still as good as new. I want to thank God for using this thread to lead me to Xiaomi (wiping tears of joy with my hankie) ![]() Brethren this is my testimony. Praise da Lord! ![]() Drops mic |
So they have to force them to submit themselves for screening? ![]() What the hell is wrong with these people? See why people don't pity these politicians when they catch the virus? |
JaySterling:Or set up the quanta separately...that may be complex and cumbersome sha... But I think there is a way to switch from one battery bank to another... |
This is just like the queue on a normal day. I can't see any social distancing. (shaking my head ) It is a burden to live in the same country with literate but mentally slow people. Many Nigerians don't know what safety means. Most people don't take things seriously. Seriously shaking my head ![]() |
Tetrahedron:He is a paid supermod so this is his office. Calculate the time you have spent in your office and convert it to years. It might be more than this. |
gidieberry:Yeah..it's showing import custom clearance now...I just hope they will dispatch to overseas after now... |
They should do that test again before allowing people come in contact with him... Anyway, anybody who goes to Aso rock right now is on his own. |
Gptech:Ok, the issue now is whether they will send it from Lagos to your location anytime soon. Is Lagos post office working at the moment? |
Gptech:How many days from shipped to arrival at Lagos? My orders through China Post Registered Airmail have just been taking a tour of the whole China for the past 10days... from Shenzhen to Guangzhou to Beijing...one of them is currently doing merry-go-round at Beijing customs office...

ceaser:Just type 'Anker Soundcore Motion Plus' in the search bar
|
This thing is starting from the top. It should stop there please. Corona virus is a great equaliser. We are all on the same table now. |
2 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 1 is in Lagos State & 1 in OgunWhat do they mean by returning traveller? ![]() I thought they closed the airports to international flights? |
jmaine:It's Anker...Anker Soundcore Motion+ |
gidieberry:Is it still possible for any package to enter Nigeria at the moment with the flight restrictions? And are Lagos post offices still working considering the stay-at-home instructions for civil servants. |
Topmaike007:Yeah... the one with the red and black color...saw it during my search but didn't like it 'cos it works with only AC. I needed something that works with DC or has its own battery that will allow me use it without an inverter. |
Dam5reey:Wow, from AliExpress? I guess I should have had a little more faith ![]() I think this one will deliver more bass because it has a dedicated 20w subwoofer which delivers heavy bass punches. I can't play it at max volume without constituting a public nuisance. ![]() The Soundcore Motion+ may beat it in terms of surround effect. I expect the Soundcore to have better balance between highs and lows and overall stereo effect. |
Ngozey:SS2 and 3? I am officially weak. The hormones overpowered you guys huh? It's unfortunate that it took this for you to learn that actions have consequences. There is no permanently free pleasure. |
In the spirit of getting energy-efficient appliances, here is a woofer speaker for anyone who is looking for a good sound system with low power consumption and impressive sound. I was looking for an energy efficient sound system for my DC TV 'cos I can't stand the sound from it, it's plain annoying (no trace of bass at all) . So I looked up AliExpress and was seriously considering the Soundcore Motion+ soundbar but the corona thingy stood in the way. So I decided to search locally and I saw quite a number of DC options that work with 12v battery but most consumed nothing less than 60w. I decided to give this 40w rechargeable woofer speaker a try and was pleasantly surprised. It has an inbuilt battery that can last for 2.5-3hrs depending on the volume. So I charge with my inverter or PHCN and use it with the TV. It gets fully charged in less than 1hr and lasts for 2.5hrs on battery. Trust me, the treble is good and the bass is heavier than most soundbars (I am a 'sound person' so I know what I am saying ). It has Bluetooth, FM, Aux at the back, USB and SD card slot. There are also treble and bass adjustment knobs. The size is 21 inches X 7 inches X 5 inches It's available on Jumia. I believe those of you in Lagos can get it offline for less than the Jumia price. These Jumia and Alaba sellers better prepare a commission for me for this free advert ![]()

Double wahala for Iran. |
Surprisingly, I am yet to have a bad deal on Jiji. I believe any serious business man should be trustworthy. This Nigerian idea of smartness that involves duping people won't take any business far. I have bought about items worth over a 100k from more than 5 sellers in the last few months. I send the money in advance and get my stuff waybilled and I have never met these people. Maybe AliExpress has spoilt me. To pay money in advance for stuff no too dey hard me again. |
queenfav:The gurus have said enough...I have nothing more to add ![]() |
queenfav:It is normal for battery voltage to rise above 26v when it's been charged but as it sits for a while with no charge current coming in or if a load is applied, it settles down to about 25.4v or thereabout. From my research, the 25.1V you see on the voltmeter is about 90-80% state of charge. To your second question, if you want it to charge faster, you need to add more solar panels. Just make sure you do not exceed the number of panels the charge controller can handle. I recommend you do this because you'll have less sunshine and more cloudy days with the coming of the rainy season. It's generally a bad idea to under-charge or leave batteries in a discharged or partially charged state for long. The gurus may have more to add ![]() |
ojeysky:Yeah, items are shipping out now but I had the money during the heat of the virus crisis. I couldn't order because of fear of logistic problems. |
, apparently the day came faster than the materials.
