Have being seeing lead battery DOD need to be 50% to save the battery... How can I cut of the battery supply when it get to 50%?... I thought charge controller also serve that purpose of cutting the battery flow..

One method I know of is, some inverters can be set/programed to ring the low voltage alarm when it gets to a certian voltage (between 12.2-12.0v)

You can manually monitor the voltage drop and stop using the setup when it gets to around 12.1 which is about 50% of the battery.

Even sometime a smart charger can be unsmart, like in, the charger no go get sense again, its best u monitor ur batteries while its charging and when it fully charged u off the switch,that is if u know u will travel....
This new digital charger that I bought dey behave some how, it was charging my GBM batteries very well, just bought a used luminous 200ah battery (used). I notice since I started using the digital charger to charge the luminous battery , the battery just dey charge but e no gree full, called the seller, cos I thought he sold me a bad battery, he said I should use the analog smart charger, I no get money, cos even the digital charger charged my neighbors battery perfect with out over charging but keeps charging my luminous till eternity, wó!!!! I can't shout , what I did was reduce the charger current to 8amp cos 20-30amp setting always gets the battery hot, so... not to damage the battery I reduced the charging current, it doesn't get hot anymore but battery charges continuously, thank God for my solar charge controller screen display, when I see say the battery don reach 14.1 or 14.2, I switch of my smart charger or sometimes the charge controller arrow indicator will be blinking ,meaning the battery is full , then I put off the charger

Let's assume these are the ratings of your appliance.
8 energy bulb: 5w X 8 = 40w
2 Laptop = 45W x2 = 90w
1 50 inch flat screen : 70w
Sound system 60w
2 standing fan: 90w
1 video console: 60w

Approximate total power consumption = 400W

If you will be using a 12v system, 5 pieces of 200ah batteries should give you about 14hrs of power per day if you run all appliances together at once. (Please try to get the exact rating of your appliances, check the back of the appliance or the power cord)

The cost of batteries alone would be around 600k (approximately)

For the fridge and AC, a 3kva inverter should work (@NiyiOmoIyunade and zeestone99 can guide you better on this and the cost of other components of your setup)

You haven't provided enough info for anyone to use and make recommendations.

There are basic things you need to state.

What load do you want to power? List the appliances you want to use on the inverter and their power consumption (watts)

How many hours do you want the inverter to pawer the load?

Are you working with a budget?

Let's start from there...there are many gurus here to help you once you provide this info.

the fan of the inverter not picking up on time which leads to early and continous damage and repair of the inverter.

I have factored that in so I am making provision for an external fan.

I think everyone using these inverters should do so too.

modified inverter is the best if you are not using heavy load i.e you want to use the inverter on a light load(tv, bulb, fan) for a long period of time on a limited battery bank.
Many china pure wave inverters give problems. That's why the good ones will still be costly.
