Until WASC was discontinued in 1989, every candidate required either a single sitting or two sittings to get admitted into tertiary schools, just like the present day.

For example, you could sit your GCE in Oct/Nov 1977, tackle your JAMB and WASC the next year May 1978. It was done in those days that way, so that students would not be delayed getting into university the year they completed their WASC and to act as a buffer, incase the student did not secure five credits at a sitting. Those who did not take the GCE the previous year, when they were in the first term of what was then called Form 5 or Class 5, would have to take just their WASC at the end and then wait an extra year to take JAMB and WASC to meet up the five credits, if they could not achieve it in one sitting.

Those were the routes then. I am very conversant with it. So for your information, Nov/Dec 1978 was GCE certificate, issued by WAEC and not WASC or what youths like you choose to call WAEC.

The onus is not on Peter Obi to present those required documents to you. He has publicly stated that all his documents are available for you all, including his WASC papers.

Meticulous people like Mr. Obi do not mess about with basics as those. If UNN cannot find his certificate, whose fault is it, particularly as the university stated that he was their student?

He who alleges, must present evidence. It is your business, along with Arabambi and other APC supporters to visit WAEC and UNN to get evidence of what you want. Get to WAEC in Lagos as you do not have to get visas and plane tickets to Chicago. Get your transport fares from your location in Lagos to WAEC office and make your request. Or do you not have your transport fare?

Now it is up to Arabambi who has filed a case, possibly Datti Ahmed and Reno Omokri, all to proceed with the challenge and show us the records.

If after the records are verified, APC must show s the academic records of their Presidential candidate without further delays or bottlenecks, whereever they are, so the whole world can see too.
