Glory be to God. Thank you very much Chief O Obasanjo. |
OP, did you forget the possibility of the return of the Shahs through Pahlavi? What if it happens that the Iran leadership is obliterated and Palavi, who is on a high alert returns? Afterall, the ambition is to instal an Iranian leadership that is friendly with the rest of the world. |
Lukuluku69:Stop disgracing yourself little man. You are completely empty. Rushing to read to prove a point does not help people like you. People like you are those who fail all the time so easily. “I know all” and yet very empty. Where did I refer to your so called Mullah or Iran as those who destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor? Can you show me that area please? How have you disgraced yourself with so much lack of knowledge? Did you not read my comment? Once again, did you ever know that Iraq was building a nuclear reactor until I said it? Did you ever? Agreed with your Methuselah claim. But if at your young age, you could not read before commenting, I think you should have some shame. You copied and pasted from Google shamelessly but could not read the comment. |
Lukuluku69:Absolutely agreed. What you know nothing about, only learn from those who know more than you. You absolutely have no knowledge. I born pikin wey senior you by far my small pikin. |
Lukuluku69:Ah, so you needed to copy and paste here. Ah, so you were not even born around that period? Sorry young man, I specially studied the subject matter over uncountable years and I am well versed in the matter. Coping and pasting does not help your lack of knowledge. If I did not bring up the matter, how could you have quickly begged Google to help you with some information? |
Lukuluku69:My pikin, stop forming “I too know” please. I am certain that you were not born between 1980 and 1988, when the war raged and do not have the faintest idea about the causes of the Iran - Iraq war that you rushed to talk about, the consequences and results. You were born around the early 2000s. Maybe you are not aware Israel, yes, the same Israel that you castigate, was one of the main supporters of Iran and as a matter of fact, a major supplier of military hardware to Iran, to enable your Iran prosecute that Iran-Iraqi war. Maybe you are not aware that Iraq under Saddam Hussein tried to build a nuclear reactor and the same Israel vehemently opposed it. The Iranians provided intelligence used by Israel to destroy that nuclear reactor and stop Iraq from being a nuclear armed country. Your Iranians did not stand alone during the war. They stood with the Israelis on their side. The magic touch of the Israelis rescued your mullahs, as they were militarily weaker than Iraq at the beginning of the war. Having contributed to the destruction of the Iraqi nuclear reactor, the same mullahs now claim that it is their right to own nuclear arms. The same Ayatollah Ali Khamenei teamed up with his predecessor Ayatollah Khomenei to sto the ambition of the Iraqis. What goes around, comes around. Now my son, who needs education in between you and I? |
MT:Once again, some of you hear need to focus on football matches and not issues like this. Listening and learning helps a lot. When you talk about the strength of a nation, you do not look at just the military. You look at other factors that determine the claim of the country, either as a world power or regional power. While Iran can term itself as a regional military power, can the leaders say the same about the economy? That Iran is able to retaliate actions, shows that they have a stockpile of military weapons to keep them going for some time. Ask yourself what will happen to the economy of Iran is the war ends today. Can the economy carry the weight of after war rebuilding, especially now that their economy is in a horrible shape? Rather than make their country beautiful and livable like fellow Arab nations, they choose to build war equipments. What will happen if the other Arab nations choose to bomb them in return? Why are you shocked at the mention of nuclear materials? Are they built for decoration or fancy? Are they toys for children to play with? When you fight a nuclear armed nation, you must be very careful. An error can lead to your annihilation. If Russia feels any threat to its existence, Ukraine will be wiped off the face of the earth in one day. The same happened when the Americans were attacked by Japan at the Pearl Harbor. You can ask the Iranians to attempt bombing the USA in their country. There’s a sitting President, who you lots call a tyrant. He will not hesitate to apply nuclear weapons against the Iranians. Infact, ask the Iranians to go beyond their boundaries and see. “Two countries are fighting one country”, according to you. That’s the choice of the Iranians. They have something to prove with their “death to the west” and “death to “Israel”, that’s why they take on the two nuclear possessing countries at the same time. They want to prove that they are militarily strong. Let them continue. We say enough of their export of terrorism to the rest of the world. |
MT:Sorry friend, they are not fighting on multiple fronts. They are just there for the take. Other Gulf countries are not fighting them. The Iranians have been bombing without getting a retaliation. All those countries, if they respond, will make Iran a desert area in less than one week. Again, you saw the power of the stealth bombers the last time. If those airplanes deliver their payloads of nuclear materials, there will no nothing left in Iran the next day. Anyway, the Iranians first their last battle with this. At the end, remember to count the losses in human, material and so on. |
shoodboi2:Iranian air defence inside Kuwait? So Iranians left their country to defend Kuwait? The same Kuwait that the Iranians have been bombing? Come, you don complete primary school? |
aswani:Why should APC step down, knowing that the APGA candidate is their man? APC came a respectable second and yet do not have a single member in any of the national or state political offices? Where’s the indication of your “respectable second”? Meanwhile ADC holds seats in the state and National Assembly. |
richeeyo:The matter big pass you by far. Please focus on football matches, I advise you. |
aswani:What is the difference between Sanwo Olu and Soludo? Is APGA under Soludo, not an extension of APC? Or do you not have any idea what is going on? |
Gumi too should emulate Khamenei and try to die in the jihad in the north. His own jihad should not be on social media spaces, while supporting terrorism. Or does Gumi not wish himself such luck? That’s what radicalism causes their followers. Wickedness that allows them treat fellow humans as chickens. They need be lucky with such horrible fate. It’s a shame that we share the world with such horrible people. While every decent person wants peace, these people want endless wars. They have met a President who will match them violence for higher level of violence. Trump already promised that if they go beyond their levels today, the Iranians military will experience unprecedented violence in response today. Wicked and evil people, who started destroying the cities of their neighbors, in the name of attacking Americans. |
So una dey see APC government so? With all these funds put together... I want you to enlighten us on why the 2024 budget is yet to be fully implemented, and why the 2025 budget has only been funded 34%—most of which is recurrent expenditure." He then delivered the question that silenced the room: "I want you to enlighten us on why our capital projects still remain at zero. Talking about our country. This is our country. Are you not in Nigeria? Why the capital of the Nigerian government remains at zero in 2026?" When pressed, Minister Wale Edun shifted responsibility to the Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite, claiming she handled disbursements. Speaking after the heated exchange, Hon. Ikwechegh framed the issue in stark legal terms: "If this infraction is identified, it means there has been misappropriation of funds—which is a crime." They are able to carry out recurrent expenditures, where the loopholes for embezzling public funds are found. The rest somehow find their way into private purses. We need plenty of this Ikwechegh in the states and National Assembly. The ministers never want to encounter their likes. That’s what you find when they are asked to “take a bow”, rather than properly scrutinize them when they are nominated for such positions. A whole minister of finance, rather than tell the house freely about implementation, diverted the question to his deputy. He never expected that question. Oshiomole is of the APC, but I see him these days as one of those whose consciences worry about accountability. He wants things done properly. May God preserve such people. |
Zackattack:So if you ignore women because they lie, what do you want to say about men and particularly politicians who are chronic liars? Have you forgotten that there’s a leader called Lai Mohammed in this country, who told us that his own grandson asked him why he was called a liar? Why should you believe the words of known men liars and disbelieve women? He claims to have become a multimillionaire at 19 and this has become a challenge to him. Even if the woman was lying against him, why allow it to fester since 2014? For me, what irritates him is that the woman accused him of wanting to sleep with her by all means. Umahi fear damage to his family and reputation. How does taking her to court where the judiciary has severally been accused of corruption help the matter? The arrogance of David Umahi is the part of him that should not continue. If the lady does not have her evidences, she’ll not be stressing him out to pay what he owes her. |
tanigororo:This is called motor park analysis or junkyard journalism. Go back to history my dear friend and research the relationship between Israel and Iran after Israel became a nation and 1979, until the Ayatollahs deposed the Shahs that year. Tell us how “death to the west” came about and what or what caused it. After reading with clear understanding, you can then discuss with clearer insight. Cheers. |
What an irresponsible example from the ever arrogant David Umahi. By effect he has labeled Senator Natasha as an accuser of men. If he does not owe the woman, she’ll not be calling him out. The sum talked about is not little. Some wicked leaders never want to pay for what they owe. He deserves a very brutal response from Senator Natasha. Attention must not be diverted to the war in the Middle East. If the woman did not deserve his attention, why get the police to arrest her all the way in Enugu and bring her to Abuja. Unfortunately for the arrogant man, he met Sowore and Senator Ireti Kingibe on ground. If she does not have evidence of the debt, she’ll not be calling him out. When you were begging for campaign materials, she was not an “anyhow woman”. |
Abufo:The man got the answer that he deserved. He failed to think properly before asking such an unreasonable question. How did he expect the Governor to provide him and Abians with such data spontaneously? Again, did he need the Governor to tell him, looking at the infrastructures on ground that citizens had been positively impacted economically? When roads are built to link urban and rural communities, what does he expect with the economy? The man should go ask that question in any market and get a resounding slap as his reward. |
SixSeven:No mind APC and their bewitched followers. Before they removed GEJ, you could make financial transactions with your cards all over the world. You could insert your cards into ATM machines and get the equivalent of the currency of that particular country. Buhari stopped it in 2014, one month after he became the President claiming scarce forex. Infact that policy cost me in 2015. Now they are jumping up and down, not knowing that it was the same APC that troubled the nation in 2015. The same goes to rice. Notice that rice and food product prices reduced. The same APC under Buhari blocked it, inflicting hardship on Nigerians with their wicked policies. Now they allowed importation and food prices dropped. Nigerians still struggle as income is not enough to put food on the table still. Let BAT restore forex to 200 in the minimum and we can say that he has worked to restore the damage caused by the party that he brought to Nigerians. By the way, before 1986, Nigerians travelled to Amy country of the world with naira cash and exchanged at any bureau de change of their choice. IBB destroyed that with his horrible economic policies that brought the country to its knees finally. |
Expectedly. Ships to divert. Even though costlier in terms of distance and fuel, there are very safe alternatives to mitigate the disruptions: Suez Canal - Connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea, allowing ships to bypass Africa. Malacca Strait - Between Malaysia and Indonesia, connecting the Indian Ocean to the South China Sea. Bab-el-Mandeb Strait - Between Yemen and Djibouti, linking the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. Except the Houthis block it in solidarity when Iran, vessels can ply the route. Panama Canal - Connecting the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, allowing ships to bypass South America. Northern Sea Route - This is a shipping route along Russia's Arctic coast, offering a shorter alternative to the Suez Canal for some routes. Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) - A multimodal transport system connecting China to Europe via Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. Cape Route (Around Africa) - User when the Houthis disturbed last year. It is a longer route around South Africa, often used when other routes are inaccessible. In all, Iran will suffer much more economically. The economy is in coma and with such huge cost of prosecuting such a war against the Americans and Israelis at the same time, it will be devastating, especially more to the citizens, who recently revolted because of the bad state of the Iranian economy. |
WriterrNg:Very small pikin like thinking. So if your neighbour houses those who attack your family, knowing the location of that enemy, why would you attack your neighbor and leave your enemy? Did you find out of your neighbour supported the attack on your family? No wonder boko haram and other terrorist organizations carry out their evil in Nigeria and easily get away, with your like you who reason those way. |
amaridigital:And your Bible did not show you where those rulers were defeated in wars? |
franchasng:Now with the huge American armada in the Middle East, it is certain that one wrong move by the Houthis, will see their end as well. The same should go for Hezbollah and the other organizations operating from Iraq. While Saddam Hussein shouted “mother of all wars”, this is the “father of all wars”. It is a regime change, an end to nuclear ambition, and an end to state sponsored terrorism. The Iranians must not make the error of shooting on nuclear powered war ships. Too much danger in the Middle East and parts of Asia now. |
The plan of the Iranians is to drag the entire Middle East into the war. Surely the Ayatollahs know that an attack against Saudi Arabia would without delay be reciprocated by the Saudis. Rather than attack the military bases, they attack the cities with the people. Such irresponsible leaders, these Mullahs. I hold the belief that even with the fact whichever way the war goes or ends, the murderous Mullah regime would be removed. Solidarity or love of the nation or not, the Iranians will breath the fresh air of freedom with the imminent return of the Shahs. |
olarent:Correct question. Recently, the Iranians claimed to have a ballistic missile capable of landing in the heart of America. One must not have the doubt about the possibility of been armed with the nuclear weapon. The Israelis and Americans know that possibility. However, if they had perfected it, the Israeli intelligence would have long mentioned it. We were only told that they were only months away from their first atomic weapon, before the twelve day war. What is not in doubt is that the Iranians have chemical weapons that can cause breathing problems. The Americans have far more options. Remember the recent capture of Nicolas Maduro? Chemical weapons were used to choke and confuse Venezuelan security. They mentioned it. Thanks for your good question. |
richeeyo:Maybe you are too young to understand that the scale of this war will be comparable to Vietnam and North Korea. Before making the comment, I knew the wars. History, international politics/power and diplomacy are part of my business brother. Thank you very much. |
No one noticed that Okpebolo did not answer the question as it was put to him. However, we are waiting to see how Okpebolo will produce 3.5 million votes for BAT in 2027. If he could not produce 400k for himself at the last elections, how does he intend to do it. Abuja experienced just seven percent voter turn out last week, as an indication that people have become tired of APC and find themselves in a hopeless situation. |
Delat521:Well, very sorry to tell you that Iran will fight back with all its might, but bear in your mind that the fight is against two nuclear armed countries. The Iranians only have their ballistic missiles to fight off an existential threat, but the Israelis have nuclear weapons to fight off an existential threat. The Iranians have not developed nuclear, sadly to you. Hopefully your “felon” comment was meant for the Ayatollah. A careful study of the Japanese attack on Pearl habour, added to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, should tell you the difference. The aim of the war is two phased: 1. Regime change 2. End of nuclear ambition and ballistic missiles development Give your advise to the Ayatollahs and have some peace. |
Finally. They should let it out and let’s all have some peace afterwards. The twelve day war last year was testing the grounds for the Americans and lsraelis. If the Israelis did not have the assurance of effecting maximum destruction on the Iranian military, it all would have ended last year. With the Iranian proxies effectively handcuffed, the battle is straight forward, now for the first time since Vietnam and North Korea, the Americans are getting involved in a war. The Middle East will be up in flames, with Qatar particularly and other areas with America presence to face plenty destruction of some of their cities, sadly. The aim is regime change and not just ending the nuclear and ballistic missile programs of the Iranians. Now the Iranians have a true war and this time, not just the military, but the citizens will feel the impact on their homes. |
Multiple explosions heard in Tehran as Israel launches attacks on Iran. https://aje.news/pf2wc1 The attack is in conjunction with the United States of America and fully supported by over two thirds of Israelis. |
Luckily for him, he escaped with his wealth intact, apparently. The judge did not order that his account should be seized or his properties taken away from him. The judgement in the end is favorable to him and he can use whatever wealth he accumulated through his crooked oke ite practice to set up genuine businesses for himself. Hopefully gidgiddy can have some peace of mind, finding that the guy confessed his sins and was not falsely accused by @govSoludo. |
