Bluearrow:If you have an armed man as your neighbor who threatens you and your family daily with extinction, will you fight him or apply diplomacy, giving room for him to he achieve his aim one day? |
Emekaonline:Are you still in the secondary school, or a young school leaver? You comment gives you away as one with no knowledge about the events in history. |
erad:“…inherent desire…”. So with your words, you have simply said that you at least lick asses. His opinion is meaningless, just as your comment. If you do not have an understanding of issues as serious and deep as this, do not rush to comment. Learn and get acquainted. That way, you opinions and comments will make more meaning to those who read them. |
GloriousGbola:Meanwhile you will beg for visa to get to his country. No worry, na Cotonou or Lome wey fit you, na there you go fit go. Na dem go give you visa. |
josielewa:An unstable man, leading a stable country, being criticized by a Nairaland youth, who is begging for visa to at least take a small peep into his the unstable man and a trying to make his country secured. How you wan help yourself na? |
That’s the way forward against the horrible regime in Iran. A regime that heartlessly specializes in killing their own citizens for flimsy reasons. For those who are getting deceived that Iran is fighting back, you can keep living in your illusion. While the Americans hold the ground, the Israelis are the ones doing the real damage. While the Americans provide cover, the Israelis destroy infrastructures daily, fire drones into the streets to chase the evil Basij forces and other security agencies away from the streets. Iran is speedily loses infrastructures, whether military or civilian. It will take decades to recover, especially with no strategic partnerships to boast of, except the exploitative Chinese and the empty North Koreans. |
Beautifulday:Local man’s eyes now are clearer. Remember that Buhari shut the borders to enable local industries thrive? What happened thereafter? Farmers took undue advantage and began a price race against imported rice. They ensured that the prices of their locally produced rice became higher than imported rice, while lamenting of lack of incentives, grains, etc. They were all very deceptive and now with the borders opened again, they worked against themselves. Nigerian produced rice variants much richer and nutritious then the imported variants. They get grains at cheap prices, yet they tell us that production costs make it more expensive than the imported ones. One wonders how. But if it is so, why don’t we continue with the imported variants? The greed of the farmers will never let Nigerians have rice at decent prices. Buhari have them waivers, loans and grants, yet the greedy Nigerian farmers kept increasing the price of Nigerian rice. |
Such an embarrassment. Who will rescue this country? |
“ a voice of reason and standing for the religious freedom of ordinary Americans whose voices are not often heard at the highest levels of government. This includes American Muslims whose rights are sidelined and whose existence is met with hateful rhetoric aimed at advancing particular political agendas”. The words of the said Sumeera. Do Christians have rights in Iran? Do Christians have rights in Saudi Arabia? Do Christians have rights in Pakistan? Do Christians have rights in Afghanistan? If Christians do not have rights in Muslim countries, why should Muslims want to claim rights snd abuse the privileges in Christian countries? Right now, Muslims are overrunning the United Kingdom. They are beginning to create fear and sharia zones in the UK. The lady can simply forgo her American citizenship and return to her father’s land. Trump is definitely the response needed to the threat against Christians and Christian nations worldwide. |
SixSeven:Just one question: Were the elderly of today the youths of yesterday? |
The lawyer should have shown us the list of daily weddings for comparison. Maybe he is a bitter divorcee. |
SixSeven:Khamenei was the leader in 1988. He was the deputy in 1979. Remove 47 years from 86 and that translates to 39. He was part of the revolution and grew from somewhere. Read the story of Netanyahu. He rose from the military background and this is his second term as the Prime minister. He was a youth. Donald Trump started talking of the Presidency since 1981. Remove 45 from 79 and you will get 34. Putin rose in rank from the KGB as a youth. He was a youth in leadership. Go and read about Xi Jin Ping and his communist days as a youth. They were all youths. They were not lazy youths. They did not stay 24 hours on social media. They were active and focused and finally became the leaders. Fortunately for them, they did not lose their lives. Many of their contemporaries lost their own lives in the leadership processes. The leaders of today, they were the soldiers of yesterday. They went wars. They were in the streets. They were and remain in the military. The youths who fight today, will rise to positions tomorrow. While you watch what’s happening, they are fighting their ways to their tomorrow. By the way, they all fight to defend their respective countries. While youths on Nairaland are talking about tribes, those ones talk about their nations. Go and read again, the importance of the war to America and Iran. Go and read with understanding. Trump has no business with the Nobel prize. That’s not the point of contention. Go and read. Choose today where you belong! |
bewla:Too much focus on Nairaland blocks the ability to know what happens around. Try to reduce your focus on Nairaland. It will help you get better informed. |
Elusive001:While they are busy killing Netanyahu on social media spaces, Netanyahu remains in the business of killing Ayatollahs, IRGC and Basij members, nuclear scientists, so called radical Islamists, along with other top government officials. They are all in hiding. Infact Basij forces have been hiding off the streets, as they fear the drones used by the same Netanyahu to kill them all. |
babzo:Yes, but Green cards issued before 1989 do not have expiration dates. |
KillerOfCrackas:I am very sure that you do not understand the story and the intention. Go and read it again, with clarity and understanding. |
Did they truly arrive at a minute past the time? At one minute past the time, the gate would still be open. Considering that they were billed to write their exams, schools tend to be considerate and make allowances for certain little errors. The parents have quickly gone on social media, using reverse psychology to blame the school. Those children probably arrived in school between 8:30 and 9 am. The women perhaps not wanting to be blamed, went on social media and changed the narrative. They are serial late comers. The parents of the children heaped the psychological problem on their children in the end. Catholic schools are among the best nationwide, if not the leaders. By the way, knowing the rules of the school, why not arrange to get to their school in good time. Granted that there are possibilities for some challenges like transportation, late preparation, however, parents must learn to do better. I am definitely in doubt that the fault is from the school. |
Advantage to Africans who have Italian citizenships. They will not return to their countries or allow their children return to their countries. In some years, when you talk about Italians, you will see Africans mostly. |
CaptainGo:If you are sure that Bolt drivers make more than 64k daily, what have you been waiting for? Why not get a car and become a partner? Na do una go dey for house know wetin dey happen inside market. Maybe you have not hear the drivers complain daily. |
And he was not able to appear publicly? Even his father would appear to the people on tv. “ Sources told The Sun the 56-year-old son of assassinated Ayatollah Ali Khamenei lost at least one leg and has also suffered serious stomach or liver damage. It was unclear whether he was injured on the same day his 86-year-old father died – February 28 – but he is not directing the strategy currently sparking energy market turmoil. In a bizarre attempt to cover up their stricken Ayatollah, Iranian state TV broadcast what they claim to be his first statement since coming into power”. “ A Sun source in Iranian capital Tehran today smuggled out extraordinary detail about the new leader’s condition, treatment, location and security. He is currently under intensive care at the Sina University Hospital in the city’s historic quarter after a section of the building was sealed off surrounded by massive security. The source – who asked not to be identified fearing for his life – managed to dodge Iran’s near total internet blackout to send messages to an exiled dissident based in London”. Culled from thesun newspapers UK. |
helinues:Shame. |
omoredia:Maybe they should have said Igbo body builder instead of Nigerian body builder. When it is good news we hear Nigerian. When it is bad news we hear Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa or Fulani. The trumpet of tribalism always fully blown by youths ravaged by poverty, while the rich celebrate and fully call themselves Nigerians and not by their tribes. |
FreeStuffsNG:I cannot believe this from one of the so called I-too-sabi on Nairaland. I wonder how you lost thought on one reality, which is that Iran fights fifteen nations. Two of those nations are nuclear armed. The rest act on restraint and hope that the irresponsible Mullahs can have some sense. France, UK and Italy are on the fringes, while the immediate neighbor, Azerbaijan has issued threats and warnings to the reckless Mullahs. Perhaps you have not realized the magnitude of destruction potentially confronting the Mullahs of the make a wrong move. Maybe you do not know that facing an existential threat will cause the Israelis to use the nuclear missile, killings Iranians in their hundreds of thousands and ending that evil regime. While you deceive yourself believing that IRGC has some advantage, you perhaps are not aware that Saddam Hussein shouted “mother of all wars” when confronted by the allies. He lost his life eventually. You can keep eulogizing your Mullahs until una eye go clear. |
He certainly must be shameless. Maybe the house built by his parents and he does not plan to start a life outside the house. That’s the type that trouble their tenants when the parents pass on. Their stock in trade is to instantly increase rent and remind the tenants that they have become the landlords. They share the rooms among themselves. One room, one landlord. Some of them are found in this Nairaland forum. |
Goonnik:Poor jealous person and his words. When poverty smells over a person, he talks in this manner. |
Hussein035:That may be another angle. I like your opinion. Cheers. |
simpleseyi:A poor man and his poor sense of reasoning. |
Jealous commissioner, with complete lack of focus. Will he swear that he never purchased akara, fried yams, fried fish, etc on the streets of Lagos? What about the Iya alamala, food sellers everywhere in Lagos? Why single out this young lady who cooks for free and relieves citizens who are already hard pressed not finding what to eat daily? Your government makes policies that make lives difficult for citizens. Some private citizens choose to help out with such generous acts and you hide under one law or the other to make the life harder. Last year they seized her equipments and she apologized. This time she cooked in the front of a palace and yet the jobless commissioner called her out again. Is she cooking politically? Or is it political cooking. Even if she makes content out of it, the cooking benefits the downtrodden who have suffered untold hardships in the hands of APC since 2015. |
Definitely it needs to be challenged. Our legislators never gorge right way. They always leave loopholes for exploitation. Let’s see Obi and other serious people challenge it in the courts and the courts give the interpretation. |
twilliamx:So says a suffer head man! |
Mathewrichard99:Count GEJ out of it. Shoprite made its entry under Obasanjo’s government is December 2005 and flourished all through the PDP years. When you all decided that PDP was punishing Nigerians and voted for a certain Buhari, ably supported by Tinubu, Atiku, Kwakwanso, Amaechi, Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare, Femi Anikulapo Kuti, etc, you did not know that you were driving Nigeria into locust years. Shoprite started shutting down during APC years, just like other businesses and completely wound down during the APC years. Shoprite largely depended on imported goods, that’s what made then unique and the resort of Nigerians and foreigners alike. The local supermarkets like Justrite, Jendol and Bokku are typical Nigerian supermarkets, where only locally sourced goods are found. That’s why they are thriving. Shoprite provided all that you needed. You could get even fresh tomatoes, croaker fish and all you needed to make your lunch. Which of the Nigerian supermarkets do such? They are limited to Nigerian sourced goods and Shoprite cannot coke with it. There’s no difference in the prices found between be wholly Nigerian owned supermarkets and Shoprite. Infact some goods used to be cheaper in Shoprite than the wholly Nigerian ones. APC killed that business and nothing more. How? Foreign exchange scarcity, enforced by Buhari. So as already stated by you, the government cannot be talking about FDI, while stifling those ones operating already. |

The younger people you failed to create the ecosystem for is who you want to blame, humor me more because you don't recognize that the report card is showing who failed more than the young people.
Their wars do not determine who is right, only who is left. It's possible Bibi is injured and they don't want to show weakness in time of war. Don't forget he has opposition in his country and war is the thing he uses to avoid that pressure back home. In time of war, everyone has to be 1. Trump too is using the war to avoid domestic issues and a win for him will earn him a Nobel Prize.
