Globad:The same thing please. Whether the used the word “expelled” or “ex communicate”, the intent there was to sack. They simply sacked him from the party. It is unfortunate that Nigerian politicians still play very crude politics, all in the name of power and control. The party, SDP, unveiled El Rufai with so much fun fare. Now they claim that the same big fish that they caught was not their member. The reason simply is that El Rufai has one leg in ADC. Again, BAT has his own men in SDP. How can you expel, sack, fire, chase away, pursue or ex communicate someone who is not your member please. Without a membership card or as they say, employment letter, how can you fire someone? Truly it is not about English. Let’s set aside the language and reason properly. It is simply about the senselessness of some Nigerian politicians. If he publicly declared for SDP and never had a membership card, where did the “expelled” come from please? All they would have done was to denounce him, telling the world that he was not a member and no one should transact any business with him in the name of SDP. That’s all! “ The foregoing actions by the NWC, which are in the exercise of its exclusive powers as guaranteed in Article 19.1; 19.3(i) and 19.5 of the Party Constitution 2022, (as amended) are consequent upon the unacceptable acts of gross indiscipline of Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, particularly, in respect of the undeniable fact of having publicly declared for the ADC, which is chosen as their so-called 'coalition' vehicle and his confirmed acts towards dragging the SDP dishonestly into their so-called coalition through the back door; and his selfish agenda to destabilise the party (having failed in his mission), by way of sponsoring a group of dissidents to call an illegal National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Party on Friday July 25, 2025, Nasir Ahmad Elrufai is hereby banished and banned from applying to the membership, identifying with the name, insignia, logo, symbol, mark or any activities, organs, agencies and institutions of the SDP or donating to, supporting, contributing to, participating in any affairs of the SDP for a period of 30 (thirty) years effective from today” The jokers were so overzealous that they used the words “banished”, “expelled”, “banned”. Which of the words should we accept please? |
Creamypie:That Inter Bau roundabout in the evening, very irritating. Wetin I dey follow you talk sef. You don forget we’re I from? |
It is so sad. They embezzle funds, transport the funds abroad, destroy institutions here, refuse to pay Doctors their proper salaries, travel abroad to be attended to by the same Nigerian Doctors and nurses, die there and are cargoed back for burial. Shameless leaders. |
Creamypie:Certainly would lose their jobs. That’s one very serious challenge not just in Asaba, but in Delta state as a whole. Driving on highways and major communities in Delta state sometimes can be risky. You see policemen at checkpoints in Asaba and Warri particularly and begin to wonder whether there’s war going on. That front of St. Patrick’s Asaba sometimes looks like a battle ground with too many policemen mounting checkpoints. It is so sad. I hope our beloved Delta state can find peace from security personnel and cultists. |
This is very terrible in this country. How can certain evil persons continue to kill other humans and easily get away. Painfully the leaders keep asking for amnesty for these evil people, while the victims continue to suffer unquantifiable losses. Is it not time to allow citizens to carry guns in self defence please? |
But that’s very correct. Now a bag of rice costs 100k. |
Psoul:“It is sad to note that a state that has continued to retain the streets named after murderers and economic saboteurs from the former colonial empire is busy renaming streets and bus stops named after Nigerians who have made their contributions to the development of the society”. —-Femi Falana, SAN. |
Thank God for safety. Thank God the plane was not airborne already. |
Psoul:Most youths here do not have the faintest idea of how that name of that bus stop came about. Originally, it was called Second Pedro busstop in the eighties and nineties. Charly Boy built his house at that junction and at that period there houses there were far between. His house was very prominent, very exposed and everyone passing would notice the house easily. Added to that was his bike, which he displayed at the front, beautifying the place and drawing the attention of people. His house was the place for movers and shakers of the society, in the military, politics, entertainment and music. When going to that area, it started with Charly boy house. It became popular and then the bus and Okada drivers, residents in area started the name Charly boy bus stop, identifying with Charly boy, who was fighting and defending the people of Bariga, Pedro and Gbagada then. I think eventually the local government recognized the name Charly boy bus stop. He also owns a house in Abuja and it is prominent too, added to several other properties that he has. He’s in the property business. That house became the symbol of Charly boy. I will not be surprised if one person one day decides to revoke his C of O and pull down the house, claiming right of way. It was too petty of the outgoing local government chairman, who probably was in school when Charly boy started living there. Charly boy has resided in that house for close to 40 years or more. It simply showed insecurity, fear and the clear issue of tribalism ongoing in Nigeria. How the intend to erase the name in the minds of the people is what we are waiting to see. |
Goodvibes007:Much younger than your age, that same Charly boy with the legacy of nudity was fighting for the emancipation of citizens from the irresponsible leaders, who have refused to let citizens enjoy decent lives. That same Charly boy with legacy of nudity has not been found to steal, loot and impoverish citizens, unlike those who you support, who daily empower you with uncommon hardship and poverty. As of today, a bag of rice stands at 100k under APC/BAT. That same Charly with the legacy of nudity has fought to save the common man, ensuring that even Okada riders, fruit sellers and those whose little wares are daily destroyed by KAI brigade, can find justice and live in a good society. That same Charly with the legacy of nudity had a well known Justice of the Supreme Court as a father. The same Charly with the legacy of nudity became a grandfather long ago, with grandchildren probably your age mates today. That same Charly with the legacy of nudity has met and shared friendship with the biggest names in the Nigerian society. While some of your leaders formed NADECO and fled the country, that same Charly stood his grounds in the country against the likes of Sani Abacha. Where is your own contribution as a youth in this country? |
SalamRushdie:Sure, but first you failed to show the man’s name in the report. Secondly, you failed to show that you understood what he was charged for. Can you prove the two please? |
SalamRushdie:In the images that you sent, where was his name mentioned please? Can you show us? Do you understand what he was charged for? |
SalamRushdie:Bros abeg stop disgracing yasef na. Is there any rule that stops farmers from purchasing foreign currencies? So what if he received mostly cash from his buyers, as is the custom with trading in Nigeria? Why do you think that all those who work as public servants are corrupt? Nuhu Ribadu, Oby Ezekwesili, Dora Akunyili and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala were very reputable Nigerians when they held public offices under Obasanjo. They were never found corrupt. We still have many such decent citizens nationwide. Maybe you are still one of those vehicles think that farmers are poor people. Maybe you associate farming with poverty. Sorry, you make a huge error. Farmers are among the wealthiest in the country. Dangote, Kwakwanso, Atiku, all own huge farms in the north. Buhari had a farm with 250 cows. There are those whose farms hold thousands of cows. Look at those who farm just ginger. They are very wealthy. Come, you comment dey sound like lazy man talk o. |
Japheth Omojuwa gave himself away as completely unlearned, given only to abuses and lying. Reading through the exchanges, it was very clear that Frank Edoho is not his mate in any ramification. In the very first two exchanges Omojuwa was not only exhausted, but completely defeated and with nothing more to say, other than an attempt at defamation. Deji Adeyanju initially gave him the punch, but Frank Edoho completely knocked him out. Edoho showed a very sound reasoning, with very clear understanding of what he was talking about. Notice that rather than face the issue, the unlearned and irresponsible Omojuwa went personal, and could not defend his submission of whatever happened to Edoho 20 years ago. This Omojuwa fellow is just the typical Portable, who unfortunately for himself picked on VDM. With just one sucker punch, Portable has gone from police to native doctors. He has nothing to offer. Omojuwa just like Portable has nothing to offer. I only expect support for Omojuwa to come from those who are unlearned like him, blind, bewitched and complete liars. |
Policemen came with a hammer and used it to force the entrance open. The lady did not resist arrest. The policeman hit her on the head and clearly called her a criminal. The video is viral. The policemen must give account of their irresponsible actions. Sadly many policemen do not care about their actions, knowing well that citizens now record their actions. It’s so easy for them to lose their jobs. A few days ago, the same citizens joined retired policemen to protest injustice in their pension payment…the same retired policemen who in their working days would not tolerate protests. |
MorataFC:Aside from those, does it mean that the community does not have one person who can provide it? Alternatively can the community not make sacrifices by contributing the amount needed for the borehole? |
dapadawee:If someone from your region provides the borehole, will it be a crime? By the way, how many from your own region have provided such for people in your region? |
MrIcredible:But I have used my Glo line for over 15 years with peace and no complain whatsoever. Sometimes it sounds strange to me when people complain about Glo network. Or am I simply one of the lucky ones? |
SalamRushdie:Maybe you think that when they say farming, they refer to efo and pepper. Farms have levels and big farmers rake in millions in American dollar equivalent yearly. Get a job in a big farm and find out. |
Zincfingers:As a cardiothoracic surgeon, he is a very wealthy man. He does not need to embezzle public funds to live his life. Heart surgeons are expensive and wealthy. Operations go for as much as 20m and there too many patients on the line waiting for him to attend to daily. That NHIS probably was to improve his profile, but he did not need that job to be who his calling made him. If you like, he can find his way abroad. Job offers are too many, waiting for his likes. On the other part, corruption is the eyesore of the country. Because of the level of looting, we no longer know who to trust or believe. |
free2ryhme:He proved that the funds were substantially from his farming business. He did not transact through a bank. That was his offence. He would pay a fine of 10m. No jail time for him. Read. |
Factcheck0001:Not being informed, makes one deformed! https://www.thisdaylive.com/2017/02/09/obiano-obi-did-magic-in-healthcare-delivery-in-anambra/ https://thenationonlineng.net/anambra-health-sector-filled-with-obis-signatures-cleric/# |
blamingthedevil:Lagos and buildings collapsing everywhere. Meanwhile you rely on those fakes that you mentioned to sustain your life. |
derecho:How does it connect with Tinubu? When will you youths begin to differentiate between such serious matters and jokes? |
P1PrinceKT:Yes we know. We also know that there was no KHAMAS before 1948. |
muyico:Why should you stay away from your spouse’s phone if there’s peace, unity and joy in your home? What’s the secret to hide in a very happy home? Make your home happy. What a man sows he reaps. So a happy, joyful, peaceful home and you will never regret anything in your home. |
Very correct. However, the challenge is the salaries to pay. |
P1PrinceKT:Exactly! Hamas, Hamas, Hamas! They say trouble de sleep, iyanga go wake am up. If Hamas did not attack Israelis on the 7th of October 2023, there would be no battle. |
Mirasteel:You don’t believe western media and your source of information is the same western media? You don’t believe western media and yet your means of communication and informs were conceived and constructed by the same western people? Seeing the plan of Netanyahu, why is Hamas helping him to achieve it? Knowing the intention of Netanyahu, is it not commonsense for Hamas to completely disarm as required, and put an end to that move. Seeing that Palestinians have been completely boxed into the corner and the citizens now very completely exhausted, why would Hamas not give up, releasing the Israeli hostages, taking advantage of the outrage of the rest of the world, secure truce on lasting terms? By the way, why did Hamas attack Israel in the first place on the 7th of October 2023? That reckless move brought the Middle East to a brink, remember? |
Hamas needs to be more serious in this matter and let this issue come to an end. The problem is Hamas. They are daily costing innocent Palestinians their lives and peace. |
ATTENTION: THE GOVERNOR Dear sir, RE: APPLICATION TO USE THE BENIN BYPASS ENROUTE TO LAGOS FROM ABUJA I write to to request your approval to use the Benin bypass enroute to Lagos on the 31st of July, 2025. Abi this one no good too? It appears that we need approvals to travel outside our immediate locations. |
