Hamas needs to be more serious in this matter and let this issue come to an end. The problem is Hamas. They are daily costing innocent Palestinians their lives and peace. |
ATTENTION: THE GOVERNOR Dear sir, RE: APPLICATION TO USE THE BENIN BYPASS ENROUTE TO LAGOS FROM ABUJA I write to to request your approval to use the Benin bypass enroute to Lagos on the 31st of July, 2025. Abi this one no good too? It appears that we need approvals to travel outside our immediate locations. |
He battled till his last breathe. He brought joy to homes. So sad. |
Krankhead:Read and understand. It is simple. Where was the content creation? Who’s the illiterate between the man who did not understand that a letter was forwarded by the leadership of the National Assembly (and not the Senate President), obstructing the lady’s travel, and you who did not understand that the National Assembly - in this case, the senate - could cause such an instruction to be issued, in its capacity as the third arm of government? Even if it is not within the power of the National Assembly, could such restriction not have been applied using certain legal authorities? |
I was reading to find if the executioner was executed. I was disappointed. Perhaps the man carried out other executions illegitimately. |
illicit:If you be woman, go and test him. If you be man, go and test her to confirm. Portable net more than his match. |
brain54:In 1962, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) awarded ownership of the disputed Preah Vihear Temple to Cambodia by a nine to three votes, stating that the 1907 map clearly showed Preah Vihear as being in Cambodia. Nevertheless, the court had only ruled that the temple belongs to Cambodia, and did not comment on the adjacent land to the north. Thailand reluctantly handed over the temple but continues to claim the surrounding area, insisting the border has never officially been demarcated here. The ownership dispute revived in recent years when Cambodia submitted an application to UNESCO requesting that Preah Vihear be designated as a World Heritage Site. Thailand contended the application requested the designation include the land surrounding the temple, which Thailand still considers its territory. We expect the short term exchange of fire along their 807 kilometers border area, just like India and Oakistan over Kashmir, and nothing more than that. That dispute was there before the First World War and expanded when Cambodia became independent in 1952. That’s basically the story. |
illicit:But the same Portable had the right to use Bobrisky’s personal ordeal against him, right? Do you understand the words “what goes around, comes around”? |
Over what na? Two lousy people displaying their horrible behaviors publicly and one choosing to call in the police. This matter too pain this fellow Portable. He thought that he only had the advantage of insulting and denigrating people. Just one video of his horrible past and he is running crazy, no sleep, no rest. While he was living irresponsibly, he did not remember that his past could come back to hunt him. VDM simple destroyed his image even as a father. Next time always know who to tackle. Man dey pass man. He picked the wrong person. Portable thought that everyone would be like Bobrisky. By now even Bobrisky will be mocking him over that video. Imagine the headline: OLE! Now everyone will see him as a thief. So horrible. |
Tinubumustgo:Why should such wishes be granted? It was obviously a gaffe. Leadership is not that simple, otherwise you are free to kickstart your own journey into it. We do not agree with APC leadership style and politics. We wish that our own persons get into positions, as we trust them to deliver. However, we do not wish anyone to lose their lives. |
PulaPower:So because Tinubu criticized the naira redesign, you quickly wiped away the fact that he supported Buhari? You quickly wiped away the fact that he promised to continue Buhari’s legacies? By the way, are Nigerians no longer suffering more than they suffered with Buhari as the President? Maybe you were not there when things were not working for Tinubu in APC. Maybe you were not there when Tinubu publicly declared that it was his turn, claiming that he was instrumental to Buhari’s emergence and that the same Buhari was trying to deprive him of his turn. Have you suddenly forgotten how the people of the SW severally termed their own people as betrayers? Or you want to turn your face the other way, claiming it is the SE? Is it not their trait? Is it not the story of their own people? Is it not peculiar to your people? |
Does it really make any sense? Does this not infringe on their rights as citizens of the country? How does this even make sense? What’s their business with privately run hospitals. Even if they choose to deprive themselves, what’s the business of civil servants? Why bring civil servants into such a worthless bill? These people seem to lack ideas. Why not talk about fixing the decrepit hospitals and schools? Ensure funding for them all and get them to run properly. Why not pay Doctors and teachers the same salaries earned by Senators and members of the House of Representatives? |
Tareq1105:Once you no get common sense, you fit no get am again for life. If you support and are led by paraga guzzlers, you may not have common sense in life again. The students stated that Obi’s claim was false and so Obi must retract his comment. The same students support the governor who claimed that Obi’s visit cost three lives. Who are we to believe? The governor who said that three lives were lost or the students who said no life was lost. Abi na you go kuku tell us wetin happen? Too must igbo can make someone suffer insanity, while calling others psychopaths. |
zero8zero:At least you can read a little with understanding and stop exposing such level of shamelessness. The same Okpebolo mentioned by the students, who they now front for, clearly stated that three people died when Obi visited. The students who have become his mouth pieces on the other hand are accusing Obi of claiming that two people died, which to them was a very wrong claim. Who are we to believe now between the so called student leaders and the Governor? If there was a fraud sold, it was the man who told Nigerians that in the first two years of his tenure, electricity would no longer be a problem in the country. We have passed two years of his administration and Nigerians are still in the dark. When people thought that Buhari was the worst that Nigerians would suffer, they did not know that something called “renewed shege” was coming up. Tell us who’s the fraud between a man who recently said “enough of unfulfilled promises”, showing that they were taking Nigerians for a ride with their fake campaign promises. The snake taken for a ride here is the man who on his very first day, afflicted Nigerians with his now famous words “subsidy is gone”! |
Ofunaofu:Don’t mind the man. He only deceived his very gullible supporters. Obi visited Wike because they were politicking. Obj wanted to get votes from Rivers state and thought that Wike as the governor would offer him support. In that event, Obi certainly would notify him of his arrival to visit Wike and the state. It is so sad that politicians like Wike keep making living difficult for Nigerians. So is Wike insinuating that as a Nigerian, Obi does not have the right to reside in Edo state? As the FCT minister, does Wike have to inform him when he goes to the FCT? How many times did Obi inform him as the sitting Governor prior to arriving in the state? Does Obi have to inform Tinubu that he is visiting the FCT? I wonder how a man who’s wife is a judge of the court of appeal could make such a disgraceful comment. There’s no law that stipulates that a politician of Obi’s level must inform the Governor of his arrival. Again, seeing such a violent man as that Governor, how are we sure that Obi did not inform him prior to his arrival? The bitterness of that Governor is that Obi defeated BAT/APC in the last Presidential election. He promised BAT 2.5 million votes in 2027, while he did not make up to 350k votes in his own election. No be yeye be that? |
The wife beater probably had been doing that over a long period. A close look would reveal that the wife beater could have been warned by the lady’s family. He probably thought that he could continue getting away with beating his wife. The wife must also come from a closely knit and violence free family. If the action was not carried out, one day he might kill the woman. On the part of the brothers, it was very wrong and unnecessary to carry out such an act even though the wife beater deserved it. They could have reported to both families, their church/mosque, human rights office or the police, to cage the fellow. If they lady has some deep feeling for the man, she will find her way back to her home with the man, even if she’s taken back to her father’s house by her siblings. For men whose stock in trade is to beat their wives, it shows weakness and not authority. For women who deliberately provoke their husbands, they must know that they risk their lives. Marriages are supposed to be peaceful, pleasurable and loving, not violent or destructive. |
dawnomike:Now school has ended for her. Now no business for her boyfriend. Now both will spend time in jail. After the sentence, they may end up not marrying each other. Even if they marry each other, the family may distance themselves from the young man, calling him a family destroyed and a gold digger. It was a very foolish move by the young woman. In a few years, when she becomes more experienced with life, she will look back with regret, and wonder why she made such a wrong move in her life. |
Creamypie:Which side of Abbi you come from abeg? |
Softmirror:And Nigerians live permanently in America either as US citizens, or are struggling to become Americans? What an irony? People of the land of “birthright” hold citizenships of various countries in Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Now that Trump is insisting that immigrants are deported, people of the land of birthright are either hiding or prayer seriously not be caught carelessly. While you claim your birthright, why not insist that the President is only the President of the land of your birthright and not the President of the whole of Nigeria? Is that not hypocrisy please? |
Like Governor, like commissioner. Governor struggled during his first budget presentation… one billion, six hundred thousand billion…‘em sorry. Edo people, una sorry. Question: where exactly did this incident happen? Answer: you say! Even Tony Kabaka for be better commissioner for information than this one wey make hat like helicopter blade. |
Kalulu44:The whole stretch of Badagry to Orile is a nightmare to bus drivers. At each bus stop, agberos must collect money forcefully from bus drivers. They seem to be in the world of their own with absolutely no form of control from Government. The menace makes transport cost very costly for commuters. |
Creamypie:If you are from Abbi, tell us your area of Abbi, if you dare. Tell us the neighboring towns to Abbi, if you fit, make I call my friends and family for Abbi talk with you. |
Creamypie:Sorry you are not from the Anioma. You do not know anything about Anioma. You just dey shoook mouth inside. Tell us your town and your area inside that town. |
Sagefromtheeast:Certainly there’s an issue with that Bot! |
agadez007:I think I agree with you. That Creamypie always appears to comment about Anioma baselessly and aimlessly. |
wizelink:Politics makes them live in self denial just like Creamypie here. Tell them to stop speaking Igbo language and stop answering Igbo names. Also tell them to vacate Igbo lands and relocate to either Igala or Benin where they have their own ancestors. |
Creamypie:As Urhobo person, why your name no be Omonigho? Abi you leave your identity dey collect another person own by force? I don tell you many times say make you dey try reach village. Small time dem go begin show you where una compound for Umunede or Issele Uku or Asaba dey. See how politics come let you deny your identity? While you are busy claiming equality with the rest of Delta, they are busy asking for Ethiope, Warri and Niger Delta states respectively. Tell me how those ones want to take carry you, Igbo person, along with them. You are seeing the reality as it’s going and continue in self denial. After Anioma state is achieved, you can pack to Ogbomosho or Amukoko if you like. |
Anioma is the most reasonable state to be added yo the SE. Certain persons over the years have allowed political sentiments to be loud their senses of reasoning. They have become so confused and ended up rejecting their blood and cultural identity of being Igbo people. Whether you choose to call yourself Ibo or Igbo, you are an Igbo person. If you choose to align with the strange political thoughts of being descendants of Nupe or Benin people, that’s your problem to figure out. The fact of the matter is that as long as you are from Delta north, you are by blood an Igbo person. Boundary creations led to dividing Akoko Edo people between Edo and Ondo states. Their identity was not taken as they all relate as one. Boundary creation split Egbema people between Imo and Rivers states. Their identities remain the same. The same language, the same people. The same in other areas of the nation. One wonders why certain persons continue to live in illusion, thinking that Anioma state, a move which was started too many years ago, will not happen. All we are waiting for is the amendment of the constitution in December and then Anioma state will come alive finally. It will become the sixth state of the SE. It makes more sense than creating Adada, etc, out of the already existing states. Since we have Brother’s across the Niger in Delta north, it makes better sense to bring them all home. Let Emeka be Emeka and not pretend to be Osawaru, etc. Even the great citizens of Delta South and Central call those of Delta North Igbo people. So why all the political Wayo? |
baralatie:Disputes in this case can only arise between the truck drivers employed by the organization and the management. |
GodPunishOsu:Ah, so you agree that your BAT is a clown. Clap for yasef. Chai. Hungry don truly touch you hand. |
With such an agreement, marketers no longer need to bother about purchasing trucks. They do not need to worry about the cost of diesel for trucks. They do not need to worry about repair of the trucks. They cut off salaries for truck drivers and the assistants. They do not need to bother about servicing trucks. No LASM, police and other security agencies financial stress on the roads. All they have now to do is to book and wait. Disadvantage would be lack of control over the movement of the trucks. Delay in the supply chain, etc. Advantage for Nigerians. Regular supply. No truck drivers strike. Stable product price, etc. For independent marketers. More competition. They may be priced out of the market, etc. |
