This man is truly very petty. What’s the business of the rest of Niger Delta in the issue? When he says Niger Delta, he’s including Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers in the matter that’s not their business. Wike should confine his claim to Rivers state. Talking about Rivers state. There are 23 local governments in the state, with the Ijaws occupying 12 local governments. Obviously they are in clear majority in the state. LGAs in Rivers State: Abua/Odua, Andoni, Bonny, Asari-Toru, Akuku-Toru, Ogu /Bolo, Degema, Okrika, Opobo /Nkoro, Egenni in Ahoadawest, Omubaraibi in etche, and Port Harcourt south. Ikwerre LGAs in Rivers state: Port Harcourt, Obio-Akpor, Ikwerre, and Emohua. The Ijaws are in clear majority in Rivers state, while Wike’s ethnic Ikwerres have four local governments. If power has found itself in the hands of the majority Ijaws, they should be allowed to enjoy their turn. It’s nobody’s fault that Wike chose an Ijaw man. He knew what he was running from and what was chasing him. The governor must be allowed to run his state peacefully. |
Maxymilliano:He’s clearly showing what he wanted in the first place. He boasted that he purchased the tickets for all the contestants. Now he shows how he controls them all. The next election will see Wike’s powers either wittier down or destroyed completely, |
SenatorCharles1:Wike is showing a complete lack of wisdom. He’s power drunk and seriously wants Fubara impeached. Every step taken by his assembly boys is tailored to impeach Fubara now. |
Just imagine how low this man can go? So he just showed himself as a very petty person. A man with very poor reasoning. Can he tell us how he got his own stupendous wealth, if not the same FAAC and IGR. So indeed he was targeting the state’s FAAC and IGR. Can you imagine? He removed a Chief in your family and put someone else there. But Wike did worse things. He feels that he has the advantage and now must remove Fubara. Rivers people have not had peace since Wike came to to power in 2015. Just imagine an elderly man of 61 thinking so poorly. |
WantsandMore:Na so e be bro. Cheers. |
WantsandMore:But where’s the money? Prices of goods increased. Salaries not enough to pay bills. Purchasing power almost completely eroded. My brother you no tire? |
madridguy:Not using your head well is very dangerous to your well being. How did Wike hide Fubara from EFCC? If you allowed common sense to work for you, you’d wonder why a governor would hide a wanted accountant general in the state government house, purchase the governorship form, campaign for, secure the seat, keep him in the same government house until Inauguration Day. If that governor had nothing to hide, why would he shield his accountant general from EFCC? Who did each other a favour? If Fubara was arrested, would he not have handed over official accounts documents to EFCC? Who did the abracadabra between Wike and Fubara? Who chose to do the abracadabra? People dey call you olodo here but you never know how far. What do you know about Alamasiegha? What do you know about his history? Do you know anything about him before he became the governor? Where did he reside before then? What led to his impeachment? You probably were a child of two years. Always ask so that you can have information. When Fayose became the governor and got impeached, what did you know? Why was he impeached? Who were those who fought him during his first term as the governor? So if he warned Fubara, your fickle mind thinks that it must be binding? If Wike was asking him to embezzle public funds, he should shut his mouth because Fayose advised him? Why not tell us why Ladoja was replaced? Or tell us about other impeachments as evidence of turning a whole state into a battle ground? |
ufotunang:You are not correct bro. When you hear the words “armed robbers”, it shows many. They are everywhere and they are many. Oil theft is not confined to just one area. It’s not only about ships entering Nigerian waters to load crude and zoom of. It’s about the pipelines that they burst open at different sections of the pipelines. They are in all the areas where crude oil passes. There are those who break the pipelines, using crude extracted to refine into petrol or diesel to be sold in the local markets. There are those who break the pipelines to extract and sell crude to foreign partners. While government exposes some, others continue in other areas. However as you stated, some of the thieves are arrested and let off by powerful forces as we hear. Some are arrested, the cargo discharge and the ship seized. Some simply escape. In a lot of cases, oil thieves are aided by security agents as we are told. Our hope is that government can put measures in place to completely eradicate crude oil theft. They have security companies like Tompolo’s Tantita, working along with security agents, but it’s not that easy to arrest all the criminals as they are scattered everywhere. |
ajapz:To simply answer your question note the following: 1. Most Nigerians in Asian countries earn their income legitimately. 2. Friendship with Nigerians, irrespective of tribe is coveted by Asians, whether male or female. 3. Filipino and Thai ladies are generally lazy. They are poor and use men, especially Nigerians as their sources of income. 4. Asians NEVER want to issue papers to Africans, especially Nigerians. 5. If you do not have valid documents, living and moving around is a very huge risk. Immigration officials arrest and deport you. The women know this and use the advantage to deport their so called husbands. 6. Nigerians marry these women as a means to an end, which is their valid papers. 7. The love of Filipino women is money based completely. 8. When the authorities got to the man, he had two options: either surrender and try to escape. Either way was a risk to his life and stay. If they caught him alive, they would deport him, but first treat him like a criminal. He tried to run away, but it cost him his life. 9. The police had no right shooting to kill him, especially as he had no weapon on him. No wonder their former leader Duerte was sent to Switzerland yesterday to face charges on crimes against humanity. Asians are generally mean to Africans. |
While government is in pursuit of these horrible set of people, why not also pursue those who steal Californium, Gold, Cobalt, Lithium and other natural resources that should benefit all Nigerians? It is disturbing that focus is laid only on criminals operating in the oil and gas sector, while those in the north who steal such rare earth minerals, easily get away. If all these are put together, should Nigeria be referred to as a poor country anymore? |
Congratulations to her. Happy birthday and many more years in peace, joy and sound health. Happy birthday also to everyone celebrating today! |
ufotunang:No. You must not narrow it to BAT. If you look back at the government of Buhari, then you can see that production was far less then. It was less than one million per day, while oil thieves sold the rest daily, out of the allocated 1.8m. While he campaigned as a corruption destroyer, he oversaw the massive daily scale of oil theft in the country. Under BAT, it has improved and if government continues tackling oil thieves and putting the necessary infrastructure in place, the daily production target should be met. This country has no business with poverty if not for the wickedness of the leaders. |
The heat is terrible everywhere. This is the season. APC made life harder with Band A, B, C, D, etc. With the high charge on Band A, using your a/cs have become a big problem. A/cs are presently turning to antiques in homes. APC abeg na. Even una supporters dey cry secretly with all the dangerous policies. |
SoftSport:Produce evidence that it is fake news please. |
Blazetrailer:I tire bro. |
Blazetrailer:The story no be here. |
Fantastic. Thank you children. Thank you very good teacher. May God reward you all for all your good deeds. |
That the job of either the state governor or local government. Even though I am not happy about the suspension, we must not deviate fro the matter by feeding the citizens with the wrong information. If he fixed the road, the same people would accuse him of neglecting their own roads and fixing the road leading to his house only. Whoever posted the image, should forward it to the government or local government. By the way, where is the evidence backing up the claim about the road? Where is Imasuen written on the road? |
surgical:Bros, even you sef no tire? APC supporters tire, but shame no gree dem talk true. |
seunmsg:You always talk anyhow. When you call people “cretins”, do not get angry if they call you names too. Where is the desperation of Obi and Atiku to grab power with El Rufai? You are pained that El Rufai abandoned APC. Were you a little baby when Atiku brought up the same El Rufai right from his days with the BPE, and made him who he became? Were you a baby when the same El Rufai turned around to abandon Atiku and insult him, joining APC? Where were you when El Rufai kickstarted Tinubu’s campaign in the north, getting critical stakeholders in the north to secure victory for Tinubu? Is it an offence for him to move on with his political career, if the same party that he was a signatory its formation does not favour him anymore? Were you a baby when Tinubu, seeing that AD (which was a regional party), would not allow him realize his Presidential ambition, started connecting with parties at the national level? Was it an offence for BAT to follow up with his career and ensure that it worked for him? Maybe you were asleep when Tinubu, connecting with the same El Rufai, brought up Buhari to become the President. It is within his rights as a Nigerian to live his life. Power is in the hands of BAT and no can threaten others with extermination and get away with it. Whatever Bashir El Rufai says is his opinion. It is the job of BAT to ensure that such threats are not allowed, if any. Your own job is to continue with the suffering from voting for wrong leaders. Maybe you need to be taught that politics is about strategic alliances and agreements. El Rufai, Obi and Atiku and others who choose to align with themselves are free to do so. |
hyfr:It does not matter bro. What matters is casting your vote and making it count. Do not forget that APC arose from the amalgamation of CPC, ACN, nPDP and other interested parties. Nigerians joined them and pushed PDP aside. I remember GEJ saying that he did not want bloodshed even when it was within homie power to change the results. The deed was done by Nigerians who were tired of PDP, just like citizens are tired of APC. |
Maxymilliano:And we know stations that were selling at 160/liter. The moment Tinubu announced “subsidy is gone”, they raised their prices to 480. Who lost and who gained? Everyone in Nigeria except the marketers lost. They instantly made over 300% profit and smiled seriously to the bank. What we are asking is the reduction of pump price at least to the price that Tinubu met it. Again, if importers of petrol cannot compete with local refineries, then they can simply put an end to importation and build their own refineries here, if they wish to remain in the business. |
Can we say that someone is using the courts? |
TimeManager:Shishi you no get. Shishi you no fit get. Get the small yansh na. Abi you no be human being? No be man like you dey make passes at the women? Abi your own na to make passes at women we dey sell bread or agbo for road? |
Valentine Ozigbo’s presence in APC has not in anyway changed the political narrative in Anambra state. The fact remains of the popularity of Chukwuma Soludo and Peter Obi in APGA and LP. As we already know, APC has no status in Anambra state. We can talk of YPP before now because of the presence of the late Ifeanyi Ubah. Now it’s all gone. Again, no one can underrate PDP inspite of the crisis in Anambra state. So for Mr. Ozigbo, he will be included in the list of “also ran”. |
Cherrybae:“Contemporary of summon”. What does that mean please? I never heard that before! Wike, come and hear your supporter. Is this your supporter learned at all? Contemporary of summon? Chai. I do hear something today. Wike, this your supporter calls other people bad luck. Please help us tell this person that not only are the eirds bad luck, but they are from a complete olodo. Wike, please tell this your supporter to shut up and stop spreading diseases. |
No be small laugh we go laugh. El Rufai ensured that PDP was removed by all means. Now he’s going around seeking for help from ex and current PDP members that he removed from power. Everyone of them who removed PDP by all means to foister Buhari and the many years of hardship on Nigerians are getting served the same food. Nobody get pity for El Rufai. If e like e call GEJ. If e like call Abdusalam and IBB. Nothing concern us. |
Ok |
Lanruze:Ahhhh. I no follow you talk o. |
Emary:Exactly. Do not forget that the old pipes contained lead, which is dangerous to human health. However, I think the pipes recently laid are much better. Hopefully government will ensure that water goes round. Do not forget that water is like electricity. When supplied, you pay to enjoy the service. Government losses revenue when water is not supplied to citizens. Cheers. |
Antichristian2:Yes. The issue has to do with scarcity especially in the dry season. This particular governor is doing things and moving Enugu forward positively. If not for irresponsible leaders, Enugu, Jos, Kano, Lagos and Ibadan used to be very nice and comfortable areas for all citizens to live. Enugu and Jos particularly were called civil service cities because they were very suitable for civil servants. They were very peaceful and very well built by the old colonialists too. Today, we have horrible areas everywhere. May God continue to help all Nigerians. |
