The beat is done. Just need to upload. Hang around. PS I am not gonna strike the first blow at dissing. My policy is to retaliate if dissed. ![]() |
rapjunkie:This is getting out of hand now. My point was to make a beat for you and wengewenge to battle over, before you managed to derail the point. I am NOT a producer. How many times do I have to say that? I make music as a hobby and I have been doing it on and off for years. Whether I can rap, sing or produce is just another unnecessary point. First, it didn't cost 200pounds, then when I showed you how much a used one is selling for you now want photos? Then what is to stop you from saying it isn't my photos? Is there anything in particular you will want with the photos? Gosh. Not showing off or anything My Juno cost me close to £800, My Music Pc is about £350, my monitors £40 or so, my mic £200 or so and my sound card cost me about £150 or so when it came out. HOw that makes me broke is beyond me. I am not rich either, I just save up and buy these things. Thank you very much. Not to talk of the softwares I use. Yes, Original with the box. ![]() Will upload photos for you once I make my Afro beat. Watch out for the thread. It is dropping this evening. |
Look I am not your average "come here to lie" nairalander. I have a MK 219. Here is a used price selling for 117pounds http://www.studiocare.com/store/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=Oktava%20MK219%20condenser%20microphone%20%28used%29 Do you want photos too? Jeez, My PC cost more than that, so what is your point? ![]() Gosh Jealousy and all that. |
Hold on a min guys. So someone dissed him before? If so, did he post a reply? If he didn't I am not so sure he is worth making one for. ![]() Wengewenge. I had to go out and buy a cheapo mic and connect to the workstation - even though I have a 200pounds mic lol. I don't know how to use midi from the workstation in ableton live. Almost done with my Afro beat. ![]() |
As soon as the threat of a diss track comes out, you now sing a jobless tune! Lmao. More reason to make a track for a junkie! ![]() |
I am going crazy trying to get the mic to work in ableton live as it is coming via mixer. So I am looking at sorting that out and connecting the workstation to the Music Pc. Alternatively, I can do everything including the vocals on the workstation, but I have to buy a new mic. I am going crazy as too many ideas is flowing in my head but disorganisation is killing me. lol. |
Lol @Tpia. Look at this killer whale apologist lol. So you think the term Killer do not apply to human and how the whales may perceive human as another prey? lmao. |
illusion2:Isreal is willing to talk, but you cannot talk with an organisation that refuses to recognises your existence and its hell bent on your extinction. What is left is for you to defend yourself. Or as in this case, deal them a serious blow before they get to you. |
So one thing we have learn so far is that RapJunkie is a coward, cannot rap, is a typical nigerian with all talk, no substance and no action. ![]() Also the difference between Me, wengewenge and Rapjunkie is that the first two people are hobbyist while Rapjunkie have claimed to be MI and Mode 9 wrapped in the body of one human. Yet he won't accept a challenge from Two hobbyist! Kai. ![]() WengeWenge, the guy don piss me off. I am doing an Afro beat/fela type beat I am contemplating on dissing him [Not that I love dissing people, but this junkie don dey talk too much] ![]() |
I have something to show. What do you have? Bloody coward and typical Nigerian. . . .Wengewenge shits all over you. ![]() |
Lmao. Application to join Mossad soars after the alleged killings. You gotta love the Israelis. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article7043239.ece ![]() **Goes off to check if they will recruit me** ![]() |
rapjunkie: Translation: I am too weak to accept a challenge from Wengewenge. What a shame. |
Are you going to accept the challenge or just talk like a typical nigerian! All talk no substance, no action. ![]() |
Is that a mole on his face. ![]() |
wengewenge:You just made the first elementary mistake. A true Emmceee can spit on any track. You do not ask for a particular type! I hope Rapjunkie uses that to diss you!! Oya upload your vocal and let rapjunkie upload his too [all done privately offcourse] I will time stretch it to a beat and let Nairalanders be the judge. lol. PS I am quoting you so that you do not sneek in a ninja edit on me. lmao. |
Can I make a beat for you guys so you can make a diss track at each other? It is the only way to settle this. A simple freestlye beat. Who wants to load their vocal first? ![]() |
wengewenge:Well I am not from his class. I have been doing this from a long time as a hobby. lol The problem with "teaching" people with how to make beat is that they end up knowing a particular way and not looking beyond the scope of other means. You just do not "teach" this kind of things in my opinion, you gotta have an ear for it and have interest in it. That is why when someone like eminem produces some track, it just sounds odd. While his interest may be rapping, I very much doubt he is talented when it come to production and trying to "learn" of dre in the studio appears to have produced below par result. By the way, I go vex if anyone call me producer. I am more or less a hobbyist and beat maker. lol. ![]() |
Please provide proof. ![]() |
You need to add variation. It sounds like a backbone to a beat - i.e I am expecting more to happen but it isn't for at least another 55 seconds or so. The accent you introduced is in the same range as the main beat. I.e The main beat and the accent that is meant to make it sound different sounds in the same range and that cause the human to see it as too busy [or noise] I am sure someone can do a job over it vocally and make it all gel together, but as beat goes, it needs more work. Nice attempt and try though. ![]() PS I posted couple of beats and you may want to offer your views too. |
Thanks. Lol. I am not home at the moment. |
honeric01:He can't send missiles because he would get his arse whipped. The swiss have very good Army. How ever, by asking all Islam faithfuls to take Jihad to the Swiss, there is a chance someone may do his dirty work for him. I won't be surprised if there is a suicide bombing soon in Swiss land. No we can't pretend he didn't use Jihad in his statement. That is the KOKO and what is causing all these debate. Here, do you agree he is wrong to turn this political fiasco into a religion one? Yes or no please. |
How the heck can you sleep so deep that someone pricks you with a needle and not know? ![]() |
FBS:Don't be silly, it is about sharing Ragolis water, boli and ground nut. The tom-tom comes after. Then you get virgin in heaven. |
honeric01:Your logic is flawed. What you are asking is a total discrimination on the basis of religion. But what they are doing is urging them to practice their religion but not let it affect the landscape of swiss as we know it. I am not sure you can relate both. Please explain to me what purpose a minaret serves in this day and age? Vatican city is a good example, only that I dont think there is an outright ban on Mosque. Also, there appears to be a mosque in the outskirts - maybe not in the vatican. I hate to say, but I think there are NK muslims. Whether or not there is a mosque building is another debate as the regime is very secretive and do not allow outside press, so your point is something that is hard to prove or disprove and as a result a bad example. Yes they have been talking really hard and loud, i have watched more than 2 cliques on Al jazeera and co, the 2 people jailed in Libya were not jailed unjustly, one of them has been released and the other was given 4 months jailterm for his offense, but why the Swiss government banned 144 VIP members of the Libyan government is unknown to me or do you have something to say bout that? No. You original point is that they are trying to reverse the decision and then I pointed out it is not for them to reverse, but they may voice conern - You above statement only confirms what I say and it shows you moved from your original point. I am not so sure as to why they are blacklisted - I haven't looked it up. But as it stand it is all political to me, that is the point you are missing. I.e It is a t.it-for tat issue until Gadaffi start talking about i.diotic jihad message. When he said jihad, he didn't mean they should pick up guns and start killing people, why are you twisting his words? we all have seen how he retaliated the Swiss government, we have all seen his "holy war pattern" he's using, did you see him sending troops to Swiss or shouting Alau bak kar? anyways, what i know is that the Swiss have alot of the faults, that's why most western nations have not really beaten down the Libyan government, they know his actions must have been really provoked, that's why most of them aren't talking against him, they are only looking for any mistakes from him, so they can switch the blame game to him.Give me a break. I have already addressed this point. What perhaps you should start a thread and ask people what Jihad means? See the responses you will get and draw your conclusion from there. You know words change from their original meaning as language develops etc. Jihad as described in the quran have changed in this day and age, just the same way the word "Gay" originally means to be happy, but now it means to be a homosexual. Clearly in the context Gadaffi was using Jihad, it is more like asking Islam faithful to do damage to Switzerland in anyway possible - Violence of any type included. Refer back to my post in this thread, I have explained this already. |
I like the Konga. I was an avid drummer on the locker back in secondary school. I can even do all those sakara - the tambourine-like drum fuji artist use. So anyone who can knock those together on a track is in my good books. ![]() |
rapjunkie:Sorry to derail. Some of us are just keen on the back tracks instead of the vocals. ![]() |
honeric01 Listen, there is not a single place that I have found that says Minaret must be build on a mosque in the quran. A minaret was used in the olden days as a place where the person that calls to prayer stands. In this day and age, there is no need for that. http://www.religionfacts.com/islam/things/minaret.htm As stated in that link, they are nothing but serve decorative purposes. [There function is obsolete] |
honeric01:Do you by chance know anyone who is an architect? If you do, perhaps asking them to explain things to you may be a better than if I have to point them out to you? Minarets distracts the eyes from the surrounding landscape in my opinion and it appears the Swiss share this idea too. It is their law, their country and their say. Not yours or mine you see. Anyways all other European countries are really trying to make Switzerland reverse their decision because it's hurting Europe than helping them. If all African countries withdraw their services from Switzerland, i bet you, that country's going to fall flat within 2 years, but then that won't happen because it's not an African problem, it's a problem between 2 countries showing off their economic and financial strenght to the rest of the world.No. They cannot get them to reverse their decision. It is an internal matter, concerns may be voiced, but they won't interfere. Or do you have any proof to the effect? You are speaking of IF so I won't comment on an IF scenario. For the 3rd time or so, the problem is more to do with the blacklisting of Libyan officials, the jailing of swiss nationals in libya etc. Ghadaffi is playing games and am afraid people like you have taken the bait. Now imagine how many crazy people will go and wage a Jihad against Swiss? |
Oh dear. I rest my case. ![]() |
eldee:It is hard to pick up on the headphones [massive bass line and reverb lol], but from what I can hear, it appears to have been arranged in a 4/4 bar. Then with each over all 4bar having an accent or something to slightly vary it from the previous [reduces repetition]. Over all, I think it is a properly executed arrangement. The Blaze track follows the same pattern, but with less differentiation in preceding blocks of 4bars and the repeat is a little bit more obvious. The sounds are nothing too dramatic and comes across like standard konga and rim hits to me. The other sound that may be worth mentioning is the "drop-water-like is actually part of the whole standard kit - well on the Juno. I think is more or less a bass deep hit with a slight transpose thrown on it. [I.e change in key note] Overall, very good and excellent arrangement. I have to say, I am no way near that arrangement level yet. rocnaija:Would you have preferred if he calls himself "Lil teddy" or something? Noting wrong with his name in my opinion. There are international artist with similar name. "Young gunz" "Young bloodz" etc. |
Again you may have missed the point. There is a degree of tolerance you see. All they have asked is for mosque to be built without a minaret - it preserves the landscape. How is that non-tolerant? Again, Islam was allowed, but some nations have beautiful landscape and they are passionate about this, they are not about to allow this to be ruined by some architecture that is considered out of place. Also, there is nothing in the quran that states that a mosque most have a minaret. No. The real problem is more about the blacklisting of Libyan officials and this Minaret issue is just been used by Ghadaffi as a ruse to get back at them. You may be missing the most important point. Minaret have no impact on any practising Muslim and The Swiss have all the right to prevent their landscape from getting altered with alien architecture. They are acting within the law of their country and I won't be surprised if the European court of Human rights throws out this case as I do not see how it is affecting their "Human rights". In every country of the world - even in Nigeria. Town planning is monitored and building deemed as non-fit or not needed wont be allowed so I really do not see the big deal. |
honeric01:They do not have to particularly be religious nation to outlaw it. They have their own culture and way of life, and their own laws etc. The minaret is seen as a bold statement on the landscape, the Swiss are well within their rights to disallow it. If you do not like it, please leave. Islam was brought to Switzerland and not something that is part and parcel of the nation. The Swiss is one of the most peaceful and tolerant nation on earth, personally, I would be more concerned about the threats of Jihad by Ghadaffi. |
