What is the weight of his party.
How could they even allow a racist party to exist, isn't that against human right?
His party carries a weight as much as a single feather. smiley

In a free and democratic society, a few things are allowed, even though people may not like it.  If he is not allowed, he would go under ground and that is even more dangerous. Under the constitutional right, he is legal etc.

He was able to become an MEP [Member of European Parliament] because he used this sort of tactics as at a time people are losing their jobs, there is down turn in the economy etc. In fact, party like his tend to win a seat or two in times like this but do not last long.

His party is shunned by most media outlet and most political party have nothing to do with BNP.

I'm not a fan of illegal immigration but this is taking things a bit too far.
That is a bit of a generalization madam.

Nick griffin is a leader of racist party. His views are that of the tiny minority in this country. Let us not forget that UK already allows more immigrant in than most country within same class.

As for the topic at hand, the guy have been known to say many crazy stuff in the past. But he is really a nobody here.

Thanks man, at least you see the angle am trying to get in with the story at hand. smiley

Surely, it was easier for the female to dump this guy instead of stringing him along to the point that he lost his life. Also from watching the cctv footage provided in the link, they both casually walked away from the scene. Assuming if they never get caught, I wonder if the female would expect the guy not to date another person ever [or even look at another woman] because of the dark secret they both share?

Given the above situation, how is love meant to foster in between them both? I think this is a real Bonnie and Clyde story, only with cold blooded murder twist to it. Not withstanding, it still gives an insight into the complexity of the mind of a woman when it comes to love and emotions.

Razur,

This is a sad case for all those young lives and their grieving relatives.  The girl did not want him killed, she was mischievious and that mischief went too far when the guys got involved.  True, her plot was dangerous and should not even have happened and at her young age she must have underestimated the risk and violent strength of boys her age.
You are right, but what I find hard to believe is how she picked to show the manifestation of her love for the other guy. To make it even more evil, she stringed the other guy along. shocked

@ ElRazur

You are so concerned about mods not taking care of their sections, yet you post a thread about murder on Romance. Whether it was driven by a romantic intent or not, murder is always a criminal act.
You really are just grasping for points, and as usual talking without knowing what you are talking about.

You are quick to acknowledge the reasons as to why this fits into romance - a point which everyone see - but then opt to dismiss it in the same sentence. . . . . Surely you can do better than that?

it is sometime better to let people think one is a fool, than speak and let all bets be off. Remember that next time.

Finally, as a mod can you follow the rules and not derail this thread with your constant bickering.

This is a true story that happened in the UK.

Basically, a young girl lured a young man she is dating to a house for her ex-boyfriend [that she still love] to beat. Only that this young man was beaten and stabbed to death. shocked

A teenage girl has been convicted of murdering a boy of 16 who was lured to his death in a "honey trap" plot.

Shakilus Townsend was stabbed to death by members of a gang in Thornton Heath, south London, last July after being lured to flats by Samantha Joseph, 16.

Joseph admitted persuading Shakilus to go to the flats but said she only thought he would be beaten up.

The girl's boyfriend Danny McLean, 18, was among six other teenagers also convicted of murder at the Old Bailey.

Brothers Tyrell Ellis, 19, and Don-Carlos Ellis, 18, from Thornton Heath, were convicted of murder, together with Andrew Johnson-Haynes, 19, from Croydon, south London.

Andre Thompson and Michael Akinfenwa, both aged 17 and both of Norwood, south London, were also convicted.

As Shakilus, from Deptford, south-east London, lay dying, he called out for his mother saying: "I don't want to die", the Old Bailey was told during the trial.

Brian Altman QC, prosecuting, said Shakilus had been seeing the girl for six weeks.

He told the jury: "Shakilus had described her to his mother as 'beautiful' and he said to her that he was in love with her, he was even saying to his mother that he wanted to marry her, that she was his future wife."

[b]But Joseph was still in love with McLean, who had dumped her, and "would have done anything to get him back," said Mr Altman.

"He [Danny McLean] had come to learn of her deception and by way of recompense she agreed to set up the hapless Shakilus Townsend in a honey trap with a lethal and tragic twist," he said.

On 3 July 2008, Joseph lured Shakilus to a cul-de-sac so he could be ambushed by the gang, Mr Altman said.

As the pair arrived in the area, the attackers were waiting for him and chased him as she kept in touch with McLean by mobile phone.

Shakilus was kicked and punched and struck with a baseball bat.

He died the [/b]next day as a result of a wound to his chest, which had "raked" across his liver causing a massive loss of blood, the court heard.

Joseph later set about trying to "rub out" any trace of her relationship with Shakilus, deleting his online Bebo account and telling friends to erase his number from their phones.

In court she admitted agreeing to lead him into the ambush so he could get beaten up but said she did not realise he would be seriously hurt.

After the convictions, Shakilus's mother Nicola Dyer, 34, said: "He was popular and always had girlfriends, but the girl on trial was different.

"He really cared about her and I can't understand how she could have callously set him up and lured him to his death."

During the trial, McLean, from Thornton Heath, admitted under cross-examination that he routinely carried a knife, claiming he needed it to protect himself and his family.

Shakilus had himself been in trouble in the past for weapon possession and robbery and had been to see his youth offending team on the day of his death - but his mother said he was turning his life around.

The defendants will be sentenced at a later date.
I am not trying to generalize here, but pardon me if I am. It is shit like this that scare me about ladies. shocked

One thing that scares and worries me is how in a kind of perverted view, this appears to have been done "out of love". Or am I wrong?

Mr Man, I cannot debate with you because you are simply arrogant, ignorant and a chronic liar and quick to insult others you disagree with.
I wont even bother asking you for proof. We all know you are quick to shot blanks when it comes to debating, so I would let that go. smiley

The content in blue refers, I do not support Mugabe's shortcomings as a leader. I only support his position as regards receiving instructions from the likes of US and Britain on what to do and when to do what.
Surely if you do not support Mugabe's ability to lead/short comings, I wonder if you are willing to take his words as the gospel truth? huh I suppose you and him are from the same school of thought - I.e quick to take things like "questioning you when things ain't clear" "asking you to back up your words with proofs" etc as a form of insult and trying to be bossy? So far, there isn't anything to suggest he was bossed around like you have jump to conclude so far.

You must learn to address issues accordingly and stop this your crazy generalization that is making you commit blunders here and there on nairaland.
Ironic. . . Once again you showed yourself up as having the inability to debate logically. In one sentence you stated "sticking to the issue at hand", and right before you finish the same sentence, you focused on what your are prerogative against me. I see you really are like your heroes!

There isn't a single generalization. I make observation before I comment and you sir. . . are bang on target with my observations. smiley
Foreign AffairsRe: Yahoo Boys And Western Hypocrisy by ElRazur: 8:28am On Jul 08, 2009
I think the problem is like saying "we have very little or no HIV cases In our country". While it may seem as a valid point (similar to what I understand your post to be saying), but on closer inspection and scrutiny, one can see many factors that make that statement very untrue.

While our reputation for online scam is true in my opinion, the lack of data to back it up like you are claiming do not mean is not a valid or a fair tag. Let us start by asking ourselves - how muchis the nation doing as a whole to root out this issue? Do we have a culture or mentality of looking for an easier option even if it means cheating etc? Do we have corruption on almost all level of government branches? Is our nation in a dire state as a result of embezzeling and mismangement? Etc. I think you would find that these questions can serve as an indicator in some ways, and go a long supporting the notion of endemic fraud issue in nigeria. To deny this is just wrong.

Nigeria have little or no standards, and we have shown time and time again we can hardly enforce any rules when needed over a long time when it comes to this internet scam. As a result, expect others from outside to at least try and take charge in some ways.

I have no issues if your online transaction was stopped - our nation is not doing enough to combat internet fraud. Period. While it may sound harsh, internet fraud causes million of dollars every year in losses, surely something have to be done?

Oh man . . . I have to run. My battery on my phone is low.

Am not Richy's biggest fan but I strongly believe he's fair. Moderating a site as huge and with as much divergent opinions as Nairaland is a onerous task. The link you provided led one to believe you wanted a moderator who share warped views of your realpolitik.
I remember you saying somewhere that you wanted to set up an Internet site but views like yours made your site die even before take-off. Am afraid Richy is here to stay, your  disagreement with him does not hold much to scrutiny (too banal).

Your argument that Richy is not active around here is ludicrous to say the least.
Did it occur to you that he might have a job? Try leaving the welfare scene for a change then you'd appreciate the effort people make to put food on table.
Only Seun can stay on Nairaland as much as you and Kobo.
See you later.
You know this is about talking to the moderator. So far, you haven't done that.

Yeah richy is active yet junk thread and irrelevant thread flourish right? Nice.

Yeah he is not biased, but he actively changes a thread to support his political stance and refuse to give a proper reason when questioned. How very logical of you.

I have a job. But unlike you, I have internet 24/7. It is called technology.  smiley

It is ironic you claim he is active, but in the same breathe claims "he got a job" blah blah blah. Just listen to yourself. Don't worry, soon he [richyblack] would come and sign an autograph on your forehead.

I do not have a site up and running. It is in the pipe works. You see, we [me and my partners] aint the type to rush out with shi.t. We watch, we plan, we learn, we plan, we take action.  smiley Remember that.

Finally, you may not be his "biggest fan" [which indicates you are a fan], but at least you and him appear to have no issues with religion that encourages sleeping with minors isnt?

Coming out with a fierce persona was never a strong point of Yar'dua. But you have to look at the bigger picture. Dangote's ace up his sleeve is already known, and my first reaction is "So?". Personally, the faith of many should not be left for people like Dangote.

This may be the genesis of his down fall for dangote.

He's not-active around here and hence irrelevant post and thread just tend to stay.
