naijaking1:I am not a mod. Besides, I do not play like that. Anyway, read what I posted. The anti-spam plug-in shows again in my opinion, why it is rubbish and indiscriminate. PS Before we get off to a bad start, my post was highlighting the flaws I see with how richyblack moderate around here. To say those points are not valid, are just not true. For the record, I am highlighting these things based on Richy's conduct around here, and not as a person like your post [the one I quoted] is suggesting. |
In fact, here is a quote from Mukina2 to support my statement. (No subject)I rest my case. |
blacksta:May be I am not making myself clear. If you make a post and it refuses to show up on the forum. The anti-spam bot appears to mark that post. If you then post the same post again - in my own case I copied a news content to post after it didnt show - it would effectively suspend your account. That is my experience. My account have been suspended for doing those three things. It is my experience, Mukina2 is aware of it and am sticking to it. ![]() |
It may be worth fixing the cheap antispam bot plug-in program in use here. It is not in anyway effective. Here are a few things I have noticed. 1. Posts are not showing. 2.Making that same post would result to potential account suspension. 3. Anyone who quotes a post not showing in a thread, but visible in the quoting/reply section would have their account suspended too. All of these I have experienced. In my opinion the spam bot is rubbish and very indiscriminate. It is really worth Seun to consider employing more human as a mod to do the work, than reply on an ineffective and indiscriminate anti-spam bot. PS NaijaKing1. I noticed your post aint showing hence why I posted this. |
It would be interesting to hear the view of Richy on this one. I suppose the excuse may be that the "Anti spam bot" locked or deleted it? |
Afam:Is it ironic that those you look up too are just as bad at debating just like you? There isnt a need for name calling or insult on a political scale. Intelligent people debate without emotions, insult or need to feel "superior". It is funny, Mugabe must be doing a good job when it comes to running a country. I suppose your ideal way to run Nigeria or some other country is to take a leaf from Mugabe's book? |
quadrey:AllahuAkbar. I wonder if you support sleeping with minors? ![]() |
Talk to the moderator? Interesting. . . Let the talking begin. RichyBlack, you are part of the problem and in some case. . . The problem. You are biased, inactive and allow junks to flourish around here. You biased and unfairness is seen this thread here [see below] and I quite rightly challenged you over it. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-290665.0.html In the past couple of days, I have had a few debate with one of the new moderators in this section and I have asked her to draw your attention to the thread in question - whether she did or not I do not know. Like I have said before and am saying it again, you can have whatever view you want, how ever you cannot use your stance as a moderator to effect any of those views - especially politically sensitive issues. As a moderator, you are supposed to be fair, unbiased and active which you ain't. You inactivity here have allowed spam post, junk thread, irrelevant items and bickering to flourish around here. Yes we all have jobs to do in real life, however you are supposed to be making a commitment here by accepting a moderator position. So far, the commitment is lacking. Surely, how hard is it to keep tabs on activity going on around here? How hard is it to have a zero tolerance towards people who post irrelevant stuff, or off topic thread? Things I would like to see dealt with here are as follows: People posting just thread with news link only should be locked. . . . People should at least learn to give an opinion or two on what they are posting. It drags down the quality of debate around here. Irrelevant topic should be swiftly removed without further warnings. It is time we enforce the art of debating here. No insult, etc. [Afam and co should take note] Here is a good example of how not to debate:https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-289743.0.html The issue of Igbo/tribalism/Biafra are sensitive issues, while I believe they are allowed to air their views, however such topic should be curtailed once it is bordering the line of pure hatred/insult. This is politics and not tribalism. Those with known duplicated accounts should be banned period. People are using their duplicates account to cause havoc here and downgrade the quality of debate around here. It is widely reported and believed that "Ajaraemuro" "Ajanlekoko" etc are all but one person. It is easy to see as every time the personality leaks into each created account. Any suspecting account or user should be removed. Still on the art of debating etc, it appears a few people do not even know what this is about. Maybe it is time to draw a simple guideline for politics section only and make it as a sticky - I can help with that - any body going off topic or not sticking to these guidelines should be directed to the sticky and if they continue to offend should be suspended. Period. There have been suggesting of vetting thread [by Mr Crackles] I agree with this, perhaps we can implement this for the politics section only. But then, it would require to have a mod who is online most of the time. There are a few more to come. Let me see how richyblack react to this first. ![]() |
debosky:True. Ricky Gervais refused to bleached his teeth for his recent movie stint in america. He even made the same observation of how people over there love big shiny white teeth. lol. |
Oh sorry. I was actually asking about Nigeria. I personally wont have problem buying shares on investing in those nation you gave as examples. However, are you willing to part with your millions of naira if similar scheme is in Nigeria? I personally wont due to the nature of how things tend to work upside down. [Even with assurance that it wont] |
FL Gators:His teeth appears to be discoloured due to two things - Presence of dentine or possible use of antibiotics - and not poor oral hygiene. There is not big deal about it. Loads of people have discoloured teeth. It is nothing to be ashamed off. It is Americans that focuses on big white shiny teeth, which in actual fact is not a portrayal of healthy teeth. |
biina:Interesting. I am not so sure as to how the offer would look to potential investors. It is well known that government having a stake in a business - especially in developing countries - do not make an attractive business proposal. So the idea of having "two units" of government having shares may not be ideal to some. I suppose this is down to the instability that plagues all developing countries etc. Also, I am not so sure how this would work in practical terms, do we have any existing business models using something like this? It would be interesting to see what their book says and the actual physical development and assets that have amass as a result. As for NEPA, I think the biggest issue in my opinion is lack of maintenance etc. Once we by-pass this and have new installation made, then yeah we can look at all sort of proposals. |
Secretz:Judging on your photos I see. . . I wont bother either lmao. |
I dont think am gonna post any more reply. If you cant accept yourself for who you are, then people are wasting their time replying to you. You seem to have excuse for every suggesting given to you. Do you want to go and sit in a corner and cry? Do you want people to feel sorry for you etc Gosh. |
Oga. Don't bother yourself. If it's been there from childhood, then it can either be antibiotics or you have naturally discoloured teeth, which means you have a strong bone. Veneers are expensive. May be you should focus on accepting yourself for who you are? Do you stare into people's teeth when you speak to them? Please answer me. |
SapeleGuy. Your post is not showing. Can anyone see it? ![]() |
Tippy Top:Chinese do not make one or have one for export market from what I can see is what am trying to tell you. |
Ask yourself. . , What would jesus do? Personally I go advice you say make you nack am well well. Abi you be gay? ![]() |
Erm. UAV requires a monitoring station. A well trained ground crew [Like pilots] etc. All of these are provided by a company that appear to make these things exclusively for the US army. I don't remember the Chinese having Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The only other nation that makes one I think is Israel and they wont touch the ND militant with a barge pole. |
Tippy Top:What is a feeler? Homo means man. Novos means New. It means a New man. Gosh the ignorance. ![]() You mean you are insecure in your own sexuality? Again, it means nothing but words presented as a joke. **Hugs Tippy Top** Lmao. ![]() |
JJYOU:Yanma Yanma shop your mouth. That is how me and her romance for around here. ![]() |
ThoniaSlim:Hahaha. I personally wont take the risk am afraid. They are under funded and lack the right equipment. No way I would let them in my mouth lol. |
biina:I was going to post something along those lines before. The problem here is while I agree with you, most things work upside down in Nigeria. The government currently runs and owns nitel and what do they have to show for it? Like someone rightly pointed out in my opinion, it is a front for embezzling money. Private sector should be allowed to come in for the short run. A government intervention may however be needed to avoid exploitation in the long run. Mobile phones is a good example that fits into this - Before privatisation, how many people had mobile phone in Nigeria? But look at how the changes came in fast and quick once it was left to the hands of private companies. |
Tippy Top:Bwuhahahah ahah . Swwwooooossssh. That is the sounds it as it goes right above your head. You don't hate gays? Mind you gay is a derogatory word and an insult. Nice logic there. My post was a harmless humour, but if you feel insecure about your sexuality be my guest. I am not homo in anyway, neither do I have a problem with anyone who is one. However, I have problem with those who actively exploits minors for sex in the name of religion. PS I love you too. It do not in anyway make you gay. ![]() |
ThoniaSlim:It appears he is in Nigeria. Dentist visit aint cheap back home you know. ![]() |
Erm the US would never sell that to them am afraid. |
sweetpie23:Lmao. She posts here. ![]() JJYOU:I like Tpiah, her fire turns me on. Abi you no wan make I like am? |
michelin89:All it takes is a tough stance and zero tolerance approach. It is not hard. Believe me on this one. It won't be long before people recognizes that. You can have serious debate without off-topic issues, you can have a politics section with out junks etc [or at least reduced to a minimum] etc. |
texazzpete:You are NOW officially my friend. **Hugs Texazzpete** People tend to forget that in-between the bickering back and fourth, this is a debate and as such people can see the bigger picture and understand the issues at hand. How someone can try to even attempt to defend, or not condemn these act is beyond me. |
