Had a listen to 'crumping' ' funky gbedu' and ' bounce and strings'

the drum programming isn't that bad but the placing of your instruments seem to be out of time. Also u need more instruments ( VST's)  to increase your possibilities and enrichen the sound. 30- 40 secs doesn't give enough time to judge the beat but they are sounding very amateur at the moment. So keep working my friend and try to get some decent kit.
Thanks. melodics - synth and what not was never quantised. I merely play it out as it comes to my head on the keyboard. Then, a bit of editing is on done piano roll. The beat most likely sound flat due to no mastering and mix down done on anyone yet.

As for kit, I am looking for where I can blag a few off. wink Buying those things are flipping expensive though.

Do you have any one you particularly like?

The US media always try to scare people. They did it with the Gas shortage. They kept on saying the US was running out of Gas leaving thousands afraid. They are doing the same thing with the FLU. Its not that serious.
Bad news sells news. Bad news means sales of certain things goes up etc. Do not believe everything you hear in the media. However the Flu thing is very real.

Here, read what I posted in here.

Wrong - you said they were representing what 'people' want to see, your comment wasn't in reference to your personal views.  You have said they are phony and simply stage managed to meet people's expectations and not a reflection of reality.

Now you're tweaking your statement to imply you meant they didn't meet your consideration of family. A slight but significant distinction.

I guess the Simpsons is a true representation of what you would call a 'true' family?
Yes they are representing what people wanted to see. The PR make sure his is highlighted more to the public. How can it be a representation of "True family" when they have a team managing their conduct in public?

I am not tweaking my statement, I merely made it clearer for people to know what I meant.

The Simpsons was used as an illustration of a point, and yes I would take them as a truer representation as they lack a PR team behind them [ Well, if you can get over the fact that they are cartoon characters off course.]

Please tell me this. Do you have a team behind you when ever you need to deal with the public? I'm guessing no. Would that not be a true representation of the majority of people? That is what I am trying to say.

I dont think the rapists should go scot free. Rape is wrong even if its female soldiers involved.

Prosecuting the rapist soldiers will send a message to others of like mind.
There are certain unwritten rules of every organisation. Telling on your mates is one of them in the army. It would also be almost impossible to prove a rape took place assuming most of these men want a piece of her kitten anyway.

A few soldiers got convicted for raping civilians though in the US army.

tpiah:
that's why female soldiers have to go the extra mile.

Compare a female police officer to a male one.
I see your point, however going that extra mile do not mean they are readily more fiercer than men.

What do you want me to compare? A female officer definitely looks well fit and sexier than a male officer in my eyes. grin

female soldiers can actually be fiercer than the men. Its not for nothing that Ghadaffi has an elite all female bodyguard unit.
Hmmm. I would think men are naturally more fiercer than ladies. It how nature have made us.
PoliticsRe: Why Women Shouldnt Be In The Army by ElRazur: 5:03pm On Apr 27, 2009
Feel sorry for her. But some would argue that women have no role in the military [Front line action]. I know for sure women are not allowed to join the Royal Marines.

Also, this for me highlights the animals in everyone of us all. In a war environment, hormones runs high and all common sense especially when one haven't had sex for 6months or so will go out of the equation.

hahaha - what is funny in what I have said? Or is it paining you that you havent had enough money to buy a car? You can buy a car for £200, if you want, tilapia boy.

ElRazur - so what If I have driven that, hahaha - I see your belle is now turning out of jealousy and anger - lab scientist like you.

By the time the police fry your goonish arse in jail for driving with that piece of document, you will know that khaki na leather, ignoramus like u.
This is just silly. I think you forgot to mention the Ferrari 355 you have and the 2 Escalade parked in front of your house in the rich part of Peckham, where you have heated swimming pool too. Have GM motors delivered the Porsche 911 you ordered already?

God I envy you so much.

Hey,

I am not ready to argue with any of you, you havent had the opportunity to buy a car - talkess of having police to stop you, I have driven four vehicles in the UK including a Mercedes Benz 500 ML, if you like, say I am lieing and go jump in front of a moving car to prove your point - I am talking from experience, if you like, stop a police officer and ask - if you have a copy, run thru it and see if the UK is listed there amongst the countries you can use it.
As usual he makes a rant and weird post when challenged or proved wrong.

What makes you think people here dont drive? Dude you don't know who people are and you need to stop making a fool of yourself with your weird ego.

So you drove a 500ml? So mean what to me? huh You are a joke and a bad joke at best.

ElRazur,

I now know you are realy not in the know! Just check a copy of the Nigeria License itself, see if UK is listed amongst the country within which it can be used - simple.
Is that your proof? You are funny.

DVLA says otherwise. I will therefore take the evidence of the DVLA over any forum post am afraid. Nigeria international licence is valid here, take it or leave it. smiley
Foreign AffairsRe: Obama: What Family Is All About by ElRazur: 4:37pm On Apr 27, 2009
Okay Richy I heard you. You seem to have misunderstood and twist a few words of mine, but meh. smiley

Who says something is wrong with the family? Once again you are using yorubaEnglish to translate my post.

Does your family have a PR behind it? Mine certainly don't and so is a countless others, On that basis alone, Obama is not a true representation.

I am tired of having to repeat myself. Don't worry about it Richy [Hope you don't mind I keep calling you Richy]

tombola:
why is it worthless? because it is from Nigeria? hmmmm - some people!
No because these things can be readily bought in places in London if you know your way round. It have little or no security and with the right printer, one can make an exact copy. Police know this, but because the law states that it is valid for 12months, there really isn't much they can do about it. They instead make a note of the serial number and take your details. This is filed, and if you are stopped after 12months and you still have that same licence, then you will be in trouble. On the other hand, if you get another one, the fact that your details was taken already could potentially mean trouble for you.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Knows How Nigeria International Drivers' Licence Looks Like? by ElRazur: 4:30pm On Apr 27, 2009
tboy1:
u sure?  undecided

You are allowed to use an international licence if you have a nigerian passport and its only allowed for 12months. After 12 months you have to get a UK licence
Ignore him most times. If you pawn or own his arse in a debate. He tends to drag it across threads and just make baseless and crazy accusations. He is as weird and bizarre as eating while doing a Poo

It is stated on the DVLA website, I really do not know what he is talking about. You just ask him for a proof or link or anything like that to back up his drivel and he just goes into over drive.  undecided

It would be appreciated if you guys let me know how you feel about some of the beats I have made. I should stressed that most of it are not fully done, but it gives you a feel of what to expect.

I am not claiming to be good. grin

tboy1:
I heard Nigerian International licence will no longer be accepted in UK from 2 months time.
Thats what the cops told my friend dat was stopped a week ago
The police can be a jobsworth at times.

This is from the DVLA website

You may drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and with up to eight passenger seats, provided your full licence or driving permit remains valid for up to 12 months from the date of coming to GB. However, you may only drive large vehicles which have been registered outside GB and which you have driven into the country.
There is nothing saying the international licence would no longer be valid. It gets my coat when they say things just for the sake of it.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Knows How Nigeria International Drivers' Licence Looks Like? by ElRazur: 1:07pm On Apr 27, 2009
Yes it is like that. I used one before years back. It looks like a report card, only smaller.

Ideally, it would be hard for the UK police to prove it is fake. However, remember that it is only valid for 12months, after which you have to apply for a UK license.

I would rather take a family without PR behind them serious as a true representation of family. smiley
