Music/RadioRe: Mc Hammer And Jay Z War Of Words! Wtf! by ElRazur(op): 2:27pm On Nov 09, 2010
You make load of noise without much substance.

As to whether hammer is influential or jigga is bigger is subjective and it is almost something that cannot be proved satisfactorily. Period.

Cd prices was more expensive in the days of hammer and with little or no download. In other to make a fair comparison, a valid argument will make adjustment - something which is a norm and standard when comparing artist who ruled in different decades.

Also your point is moot and invalid because I never said Hammer had more record sale but if you wanna talk to the air and walls be my guest. I remember saying "hammer record sales do not make him a slouch" meaning his record sale is impressive for his days.

As per you still talking about buster and eminem apparent diss, that "we never heard about". Who exactly is this "we" I am guessing your failure to hear one song automatically means it is a bad song? I didn't realise you are now the mouth piece of when a song is "heard about" or not.

Your argument are weak too be honest but yeah a bit of mild jibe every now and then is awesome I guess.

So let me recap your all argument so far, hammer replied jayz but you have problem with this even though you are a supposed fan of diss record. Then you turn around and claim hammer only did it for fame and he is a cash cow. Yet on the other hand, jayz is releasing a book soon but sure, let's not mention that.

And finally one of you jigganite are unable to disprove that hammer have more followers on Twitter, but are quick to point out record sales while ignoring the need to adjust for inflation? To cap it all up you claimed jayz sold out glastonbary while you docked the fact that jayz was merely a headline act of many that was present at the festival.

Where is objectivity I ask thee?

As per Obama and what not, as of last week Hammer had dinner with Tony Blair and a few dignitaries but you fail to recognise that hammer and jayz are both important in certain circles. And have this crude mentality that only one can be bigger or better and not room for co-existence.

Please tell me something new, while you are at it throw away all civilness. Roll eyes.
Music/RadioRe: Mc Hammer And Jay Z War Of Words! Wtf! by ElRazur(op): 12:11pm On Nov 09, 2010
The thing is this, I posted something and the jigganites disagree. I then posted a proof and surprise, surprise the goal post was moved again.  So as it stand, the statement that Hammer have more followers than JayZ is undisputed.

Eldee as per album sales. I have never disputed or made that a point. However, you should note that if you adjust for inflation (cd prices are cheaper now than before I think) hammer's sale ain't no slouch.

Finally, once again you showed that objectivity is not a word you are keen on knowing when it comes to hammer.  So he had a beef with buster and what not, right? And that means what to the debate at hand? Same way Jayz had run in with others but you are quick to find an excuse when this is pointed out. Smh.

Bkbabe

I usually avoid people like you but I will say this to you one time. Read the last link I posted about an interview hammer gave and he discussed a whole lot of issues. He said something that is hard to argue against. That is, no one is too big to be spoken to. In other words no matter how much people like you rate jayz and what not, he is still a man, and as a man, no man is too big to be called upon if needed.  I suppose this may be too much for you to understand and go way over your head.

For crying out loud, who in their right mind climbs an active eruption to take photos? People who do this type of thing do it from a safe distance or use aeroplane or helicopter to take aerial photographs.

As it stand no one is asking the photo-journalist back home to get on a plane or mount a camera on a helicopter but a few shots from a safe distance is  not too much to ask.

Internet is never cheap in developing nations.

I'm on 18megs and with very good upload and download speeds as am close to the servers. Also my ISP gives me "game mode" which makes my line stable, fast and reduces ping.

There are loads of people who ain't in naija and play online. It is just that those who frequent here may be folks based in naija.

If you had engaged a bit of common sense, you would have realised that[b] the word presence was in quote. You know, those two signs at the beginning and the end of the word presence suggest that it could mean anything and be subjective.

That is why i have always said that there are ample loads of opportunities in nigeria. We are just beginning but unfortunately on a wrong foot.

Every where a i look at is a way of making a cool living in nigeria but for corruption.
I agree, however I was in naija and packed all my gears - Laptop, camera and camcorder. I had to restrict my shooting to a few places. It is unnerving to go around with a digital slr slung round one's neck in the streets of Lagos.

As a pap, you will need a zoom lens something from say 80mm on wards will be good and about 80-300m (which is what I have) is a long one, it will easily attract people you don't want to attract lol.

For example, there was an incident which I thought was funny and wanted to record it. Needless to say people surrounded me saying I am a member of the press and so they want to know what am filming. Luckily, the dude with me had an Army belt and beret on display in his car so they sorta let me go, but boy it was unnerving.

My point? While there are chances to make money, it comes with risk that may not be worth taking those chances.

Re: Alleged Wenger Affairs.

I honestly feel the culture amongst the UK press should be put into check. I think it should be breaking a few laws stalking people and then printing out allegations about them. The Sun and other tabloid  newsgossip papers seem to have a habit of doing this and ruining who ever they set their eyes upon.

Rooney, Ashley et al are just a few people that comes to mind recently. So what if a player cheats? How is this of interest to the public at large. What ever people get up to in their private lives should be just that - Private!

So it is alleged that Wenger is also having an affair, and this means what to me? It is widely speculated that the media is biased towards the Arsenal team in general, be it the moppet Alan Hansen on BBC "match of the day" giving biased report about Walcott, or the media labelling Wenger as a "whinger" for stating what is essentially true.

Over the years, I have come across report that Wenger is disliked because he is an intellect (Studied Economics or something) and he comes over here to English game and made a name for himself. Apparently, he do not go around drinking and gossiping in pubs like the other coaches used to do when he first started. Also the fact that he can express himself better than most English-born coaches and players makes him an ideal target by the whole media alike.

Lets not forget that he is French and as such, there is an element of rivalry perceived by the media which can sometimes be borderline hatred.

What is my point? The media bias and witch hunting need to stop. I think the Media really need to check itself, or at least the OFCOM (body that regulates media in the UK) needs to step in before this whole thing gets out of hand. I find it bizarre that the news report appears to have been pulled from several sources. It will be interesting to see how Wenger respond. Personally, I want him to sue those involve and get every ounce of compensation he can get off them.

Who are the "sources" this report is talking about? Surely, if the he is under investigation it will only be known to high level officials and as a matter of confidentiality, it will not be reported in the press. May be I am missing something.

Perhaps it is just another one of those report done so as to systematically remind Atiku that he's got a few things he needs to account for.

This is the problem with Nigeria.
Ezeuche said that he was sorry for all the tribal bashing he embarked on in the past. Instead of Peeps like Elrazur, Aigbofa(Igbo bashing 2IC)  and co to repent too, they want him to run unclothed in the street before they'll accept that he intends to change. Simply doing the same thing that Ezeuche did would have made Nairaland a less tribal bashing online community. The way they are taunting Ezeuche and asking him to lick their buttocks, The born-again Ezeuche will soon become born-against once more .
It is weird that you are not grasping the point at hand.

He wasn't apologizing in his first post, on top of that he still showed he's got misplaced anger.

For fucckkk sake, this is some who was reported that just as of yesterday he was there showing his hatred for other tribe, and now he's turned a saint over night? I don't know about you and others, but I do not buy such things.

Also, why the "love" he is now showing to other tribes? Gosh, pardon me if I am a little bit suspicious. Old habits never die and I am still sceptical.

Even when I challenged him, his explanations are nothing but denial and trying to wriggle out of it, abeg as my people say apologies my bolokus.
