I'll like to sell my own citizenship. Anybodybody interested? ![]() |
Most countries have started bloody revolutions for far less indignities suffered at the hands of their rulers. Here in Nigeria, the political steal from us, and rub it in our collective face just like Dino and SarakI and their band of thieves have just done and have always done. But they know something we don't. They know that adapting to poverty is the specialization of the ordinary Nigerian. So, no biggie. |
Aren't they all blind? Imagine Dino Meliar launching a book: antidote to corruption and inviting all his fellow looters in government for the launching? Chai Nigeria don suffer! |
See must be from Warri. |
Oh this is the guy fvcking his mama...mate ![]()

eyinjuege:You're probably right, and my post did mention the swag the OP hinted at. He probably is a great chap who believes he's got a ministry and all. All I'm saying is that we should be careful How we view these men and don't push them to commit atrocities. When you post his swag up and down the internet, he'll feel he has a standard to maintain and that's how it all starts. It is the armour of God Which he puts on that should impress his followers and not the physical clothes he has on. For the OP to come online and gush about his pastor's clothes and swag shows that either that's all the man has to offer his congregation or the OP is someone like me who goes to church to hunt for pretty chicks. (That reference to me was a joke o, I don't.) |

Number2:Oh he did? In your Bible, right? Like the place where he said that foxes and hares have nests But the Son of Man has no place to lay his head? Or like that verse where he said it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God, Maybe like that passage that showed when the rich young man asked Jesus what he should do to merit eternal life and Jesus told him...sell all you have and follow me... I'm sure you are also referring to that portion of the Bible where Jesus told his disciples that anyone who wanted to be his follower/disciple should carry their CROSS, and follow him. ![]() |
Caleboha:Boy, come here, Let me school you a little bit. First and foremost, placing the poverty of your family at the doorstep of Luggard who died centuries is irresponsible. This is the same Nigeria that some other people are working hard and making it. Yet, you are comfortable blaming a ghost for your failures in life. You can hate him. Guess who the acid of hate is killing from the inside out? That's right. YOU. I know that If you ever get married, you'll blame the southwest Nigeria for your impotency and inability to satisfy your wife. https://www.nairaland.com/2583553/1953-nnamdi-azikiwe-speech-secession Please open the above link and educate yourself on the position of Nnamdi Azikiwe on the attempt of Northerners to secede. Most of you just run around online _naked, showing crass ignorance. Who do you think has low self esteem? The one who is comfortably doing business in his own home and hardly depends on the other regions of the country, who doesn't cry when things aren't going his way politically But bides his time and strike at the right time, who is infinitely proud of his culture and the successes attained by his brothers and sisters the world over, OR, The one who beats his chests online everyday boasting about How his tribe is the best, yet comes around every so often to wail and whine and cry that he is being marginalized and How much of a slave he has become and that he needs freedom. He doesn't stay in his ancestral home, rather he goes to the home of the people he hates so much to scrape a living. He hates doing it, But he has to do it so he can feed. Then he comes online to vent his frustrations. (Sounds familiar?) The Yorubas are not holding you by the pants not to vacate their land or secede from Nigeria. So, next time you want to ventilate your frustrations with the Yorubas out of envy, pick a good topic. |
remexy:Christians use the "judge not" or the "thou shall not judge" phrase as a way of abdicating our responsibilities. We keep seeing flamboyant "pastors" and we muzzle the voice of our conscience because we don't want to judge. Evil thrives when good people remain quiet. And by their fruits we shall know them. I can only pity those who look up to these men as "men of God". Point to one Bible passage where Christ glorified wealth. Shouldn't humility and poverty of the spirit be the hallmark of these so called pastors? |
What do you mean by "perfect life"? |
Wasn't aware that your "Lord" worked at the embassy? |
Open your third eye and you'll realise what your destiny is. |

Caricature:Just don't Let daddy behold you otherwise daddy will be ending on your back too. ![]() |
Guy man looks like a criminal in that top pics. Very soon he'll be ending on the backs of Liberian prostitutes and he'll need police protection. Nice move, "nackpostle ". |
jordinsparkles:I sure have. I might only check it out because of actors I like seeing like RMD, Sola Sobowale, Ali baba, and Ireti Doyle. |
Doesn't make any iota of sense. The word "Oyinbo " is a Yoruba word. It's just like Yorubas trying to find a Yoruba etymological root of the word Alubosa (onions) Which we all know was a borrowed Hausa word. Next the OP will tell us the Ijaw origin of the word "ashewo" ![]() |
jordinsparkles:Same feeling I have. The first movie didn't exactly meet up with the hype at all. I could see elements of Hollywood's "Jumping the Broom", Anne Hathaway's "Bride War", etc. Disappointing really and you'd have to be really hard pressed for humor to even crack a smile at most of the scenes. The video quality was superb though, at least Naija standard Which isn't bad at all, and the A-list actors didn't disappoint either despite the mediocre storyline. |
Now he is a Nigerian doctor abi? But If he won the most prestigious medical award or performed some medical feat he becomes what...? A Briton? |
RosaConsidine:It is the National Theater indeed and Yes, I know it is a Federal building. But I was speaking generally about the Nigerian government, state and Federal. |
RosaConsidine:You are right and I agree with you. But in the end, the blame finally lies at the feet of government. Other big cities also battle with the menace of those who tag buildings with graffiti especially in NewYork city. Our government should enact and enforce laws to combat that. But above and beyond, there are public properties, structures and buildings that have been neglected by the government for so long you'd think they were erected by Noah after the flood. Government should be proactive when it comes to maintenance of facilities. It should be included in the annual budget. |
VERDA:Leave them, Let them fooling around. It's their talent. Until it happens to them, then they'll start shouting genocide. |
I'm not against beautifying the city. It is commendable. The problem I have is with the maintenance of these structures after the 50th anniversary celebration. The only iconic building we have in Nigeria has become dilapidated and an eyesore. It is also located in Lagos. It's such a shame we have this type of mindset. |
felicitywe:What claim? He stated a fact and you decided to challenge it without any iota of proof? Some few seconds on Google produced those links I posted. Do yourself a favour and go through them. |
Uhm... How about reporting to the police? |
"It has come to public glare..." Felicitywe, please How old are you anyway...? http://www.answers.com/Q/What_was_the_first_TV_station_in_Africa http://nigerianfinder.com/nigerian-television-authority-a-brief-history/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Television_Authority |
