When a claim is made, the burden of proof rests with the person making the claim.

Anyone can make any claim that cannot be falsified, but because it can't be falsified doesn't make it valid. You don't dignify claims on the basis of there being no proof for the invalidity of the claim. You dignify claims on the basis of substantial evidence for such claims.

I could make a claim that last night I talked to an Alien with two heads, and going by your logic, everyone should take me seriously since there is no proof that my claim is false, despite there being no proof that my claim is true. But that's not the rational way to arrive at a valid conclusion. The rational process is for me to first provide evidence that my claim is true.

And That's the problem we have in the world today. We think everything has to follow scientific process and must be proven before we can accept it.

Have you seen a human brain before? I doubt it. Yet you believe we all have one each. Why? Because you've pictures and science tells you we have.

Is that really different from me saying there's God? Well I haven't exactly seen him, But I've seen drawings and religion says He exists.

Not everything lends themselves to empirical proofs and physical evidence.

Not everything that exists, exists on this plane of existence.

You weren't there so you can't disprove that Adam really existed. Whatever you must have read to the contrary is also pure conjecture.

The writers of the books you've read weren't present there either.

What proof would you like me to offer? His bones or his DNA sample?
