PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Once Beat-up Okupe For Dishonesty - Junaid Mohamed by Elueme: 2:44pm On Mar 17, 2013
Let's assume this was true and that OBasanjo bullied Okupe but is it rationale for a supposed statesman to condescend so low as being so petty by attacking personality? This man could be exhibiting infantile syndrome which some experience at the climax of senility, but he's neither too old, hence I think he was making up stories.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan "Struggling To Build" His Village House by Elueme: 2:32pm On Mar 17, 2013
To the many fools who masquerade themselves as defenders of truth deceiving themselves when in actual sense they are paid agents/ tribal apologists, the president house in Otuoke is still not a completed project, was in Otuoke last month .The reason behind this is not known though.
PoliticsRe: Southwest PDP In Fresh Bid To Oust Tambuwal by Elueme: 1:55pm On Mar 17, 2013
The Yorubas will continue to cry for marginalization and for help where there is none until they put their house in order or appropriate blames. The problem of the South West is due to the politics for the soul of the south west. ACN fought against the interest of the SW at national level( dominated by the PDP ) so they could have less personally to challenge their dominance inthe zone without due recourse to the effect of such negative politics on their people whom they claim to love or is the love only shown when they are the ones in charge? This brings to the fore the negative nature of these people and the hypocrisy that runs in their veins just the same way they have done to the country before the international community, trying so hard to discredit the government. These same scums will use the marginalization of the south west in at national level to campaign in 2015 and bet you the ever shallow minded and sentiment blinded south westerners will buy the propaganda hook ,line and sinker.
PoliticsRe: Oga At The Top: NSCDC Defends Obafaiye by Elueme: 1:38pm On Mar 17, 2013
Gbam! We celebrate mediocrity so well in Nigeria. I took time to watch the last 10 minutes of that interview on U-tube and would say the man in question didn't do badly with the exception of the website aspect where though glaringly clear he didn't know it but was trying to outsmart those young and hot blooded presenters who took him to the mud. Everybody ain't so complaint with ICT , so it would be callous to suspend him on that error, but that aside he caught me as somebody who knew his job and is proud of it.
PoliticsRe: Yorubas Are Ungrateful To Obasanjo - Ahmadu Ali by Elueme: 11:07am On Mar 16, 2013
Ahmadu Ali couldn't have said it better. The Yorubas and their narcissistic mentality. They need reassess themselves before it boomerangs on them. Yesterday, it was Sanusi and now Ali. The SE and SS already seen them as traitors. I they laugh.
PoliticsRe: Wonders: Proxy 'APC' Sends E-mail Using PDP Address! by Elueme: 10:33am On Mar 16, 2013
Stop deceiving yourselves and stop attracting unnecessary public pity .. The earlier you advise your ogas at the top to get a new name ASAP, the better it will be for them if they are serious with their desperation for power and oil money and also for Nigerians who will be the beneficiaries of a strong opposition in the country. I won't be in a hurry to buy your blind accusation that PDP is behind the new name because the ACN I know is capable of any propaganda to attract public sympathy but if the accusation is true , then I will love PDP the more for their political sagacity and strategy. A group of people or Organisation cannot lay ownership of a name that isn't patently theirs. The first thing was to register or commence the process of registering a name before going to the press and making noise about the merger. Any group of Nigerians being sponsored or not have a right to attempt registering with similar name and it should be on first come bases all things being equal. This threat of running down the country is empty and rubbish, nothing will happen.

NYSCRe: What Happened To The Yearly Nysc-Presidential Merit Award? by Elueme: 11:55am On Mar 13, 2013
This may be an exposition but is it not too early to shout? Well, considering the nature of our people, I think a reason should be given for the delay or if at all it's not going to hold as before the people deserve the right to know. This falls under the ministry of youth and NYSC itself. Hope they sought thing out quickly.
PoliticsRe: State Pardon For VIP Ex-convicts - A Worthy Step Or Not? by Elueme: 9:37am On Mar 13, 2013
Also, we must not fail to understand the intrigues that necessitate state pardon. Some have argued the intrigue behind Alam's conviction, however true it may be but the fact that he was guilty can't be denied and as such deserved to be treated as an ex-convict. In the same vein, pardons are orchestrated by regional or sectional wish but that wish should be rationale by itself. Fortunately for Alam's and unfortunately for us the IJAWS still think that Alam's conviction was politically motivated to silence their number one advocate for resource control and struggle against the marginalization of the Niger delta. Alam's despite his conviction is given a public accolade by his kinsmen even more than the president.. Why we need put away sentiments and analyse this critically
PoliticsRe: State Pardon For VIP Ex-convicts - A Worthy Step Or Not? by Elueme: 9:24am On Mar 13, 2013
I frown at Alamieyegshai's name. For the victim's of military junta I have no problem with them having pardon, afterall they were convicted by illegal government and so shouldn't be recognized. This is one of the flaws by the presidency and why they are humans. Fashola would do same for Tinubu if in the same position why they are all humans.
PoliticsRe: FG Approves Dredging Of Calabar Port!!! by Elueme: 1:01pm On Mar 12, 2013
Slow and steady transformation, every distractions in the name of Boko haram, lia Mohammed and his venomous vituparitions and distortion of facts will not deter this president from delivering on the dividends of democracy.. I am gladdened that this administration had remained so focus despite the turmoil which is only second to the civil war which mischief makers have melted against the Nigerian state. The dredging of calabar port has again brought to the fore that economy should take preference to politics in developmental policy and I am impressed with this administration for this vision. The calabar port is the major coastal inlet leading to the north east via Benue and Taraba and this dredging for sure will promote commerce activities through this route. It should also be recollected that general electric will be sighting their major company( which will serve as their headquarters in the West Africa subregion) at the free trade zone in calabar, an investment said to be about 1 billion dollars, which is also the single largest investment by the company outside the U.S.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Amnesty Denial For Boko Haram Is Illogical- ACN by Elueme: 10:41pm On Mar 11, 2013
In the nick of time all the wolves in sheep's clothings shall be exposed just as ACN are beginning to show who they are. I naturally will not like PDP but I have this conviction that ACN is worse and deceptive only taking advantage of the general disenchantment at the government of the day for the successive leadership failure that has pledged the country to present themselves a greek gift . I am the last to fall for this gimmick... It is becoming clearer who the real sponsors of this heartless and faceless group are.
PoliticsRe: North Insists On Amnesty For Boko-Haram- 247news by Elueme: 3:42pm On Mar 11, 2013
franchizy: I disagree wit u and GEJ dat Boko Haram are faceless or can't grant Amnesty to a Ghost. Remember President Goodluck to Nigerians in his media chat and also at an interview wit CNN dat he knows who d Boko Haram sects are. He said they are in his cabinet, they are in the Police, Army, Navy Etc.
Now if the president could say dis recently, how can he come up again to say dat Boko Haram are faceless or a Ghost. I think Nigerians should hold GEJ responsible 4 d insecurity since he does not want to tell us d identities of d Boko Haram he told us dat he knows.
On the Amnesty, I think d Federal Govt should first declare d Amnesty for d sect members and assure dem of there security, whereby they refuse to accept, d FG can now use the Force to flush dem.
This fool must show himself. When it is time for politics, come and spew this thrash maybe some who share same interest with you will corroborate your message of hate and disapproval but as it stands now, this is a serious national issue that is beyond your primordial reasoning. Better luck next time
PoliticsRe: We Formed Boko Haram To Partake In Amnesty. by Elueme: 3:27pm On Mar 11, 2013
Any keen watcher of the Nigerian politics and the antics of the north to remain perpetually relevant will not dismiss this accusation in a hurry. The northern oligarchy encouraged Boko haram for two reasons such as using it as a levarage to regain power by distabilising this administration and make it appear weak, and this is what has informed the gradual decimation of the minority Christian north with the aim of reducing the possibility of a voter block against a possible Muslim northern candidate. The other intention was to secure an equal attention by the way of amnesty for their youth to equal that of the Niger delta forgetting that the intent and cause of both struggles are wide apart. These northern elite should be in shame for holding this country bound for several decades by failing to improve on the lives of Nigerians in general and northern youths in particular inspite of owning a huge chunk of the oil revenue from the delta... They will fail completely
Foreign AffairsRe: Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Is Dead by Elueme: 11:36pm On Mar 05, 2013
Unarguably one of the most sacrificial leaders the world has ever produced and one of the earth's finest. If only Africa can have just 30% of our leaders with the leadership qualities of Hugo Chavez, our continent surely would be better than we met it. I respect this man evn in death and may the Almighty grant him rest.
PoliticsRe: FG To Begin Inspection Of Power Projects by Elueme: 10:46am On Mar 05, 2013
A-ZeD:
I'm 99% a GEJ critic but guys power sector contracts/projects take time. I don't expect our power problems to be over by 2015(not because GEJ is clueless) but because power is a capital intensive sector with low profit margins.

On another note, where are the mumu's who told us that the jamboree disguised as GGT was a good thing? Why does the FG have to send a "crack" team around the country when the GGT carnival is not yet over?
The aim of NGGT was not to scud or sanction anybody. Neither is it to rate any governor. I think this was part of the original plan but the governors amended it before the final blueprint was endorsed by the FEC, NCS and the NGF. This is why it will be foolish and amounts to betrayal and dishonor if any governor now seeks to dance a different tune. The purpose of the tour is only centered on development and progress being made so far and it has been not partisan until some ACN govs try to politicize the process. It 's being led by the NUJ president whie all the major print and television houses as well as civil society groups including PRONACO as well as some other NGOs who are directly linked to projects monitoring.the sim and mandate is to showcase development so far, ascertain what the fed, state and local tiers of government are doing as well as note the challenges and prospects for appropriate actions and future planing. Since the inception of the tour, many state governors are working all round towards wat they can showcase, contractors are having sleepless nights to deliver on projects, some projects( road contracts ) were revoked in the north centre, and this present stand of sending crack teams for NIPP must have been informed by the report from this tour. I watched how unpleased the minister was with the level of progress in GBaran power site in Bayelsa. This is progress. Our govt has been doing poorly in project monitoring and I think this culture should change. Gov Amaechi did well as a governor in Rivers because he was deeply monitoring projects personally.
PoliticsRe: FG To Begin Inspection Of Power Projects by Elueme: 10:30am On Mar 05, 2013
Certainly a step in the right direction. The NGGTour has actually opened the eyes of the government that some of these contractors have not been sincere on timely delivery of the power projects. They keep feeding Abuja with different tunes and sounds as per progress being made whereas things ain't as rosy as they make it seem and the most annoying is the collaboration between these contractors and the government agencies stationed at the power plants to monitor these project. Most of the power projects physically inspected during the tour are within 70-90% completed but if hard measures are not taken these contractors could sabotage government's effort, but unfortunately the mandate of the tour isn't to sanction or scud anybody but to report back to the authority that oversees such projects for actions and I think that is what has informed this next move. This government is determined to deliver on power. They need our prayers and support
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Among World's Major Investment Destinations - KPMG by Elueme: 2:58pm On Mar 04, 2013
I have never doubted that this is the best time ever in the history of this nation. Never had the country been governed with this uncommon zeal, focus and idea as we are seeing with this present administration. The president and his team had remained focus and undaunted despite the level of sabotage by the BH sect and the AcN/ CPC propaganda , pulling down syndrome on the other hand. The level of mediocrity by the opposition started playing itself out recently by their gradual backing out of a developmental tour agreed by all parties with an agreed shared responsibility to assess the level of progress the country is making with her democracy. Their reasons are still being trailed with suspicion that their ass may be opened as these goons have enjoyed undue media propaganda and have brainwashed their people with lies that federal govt is not doing anything in their states. Forinstance, the visit to Edo state, Oshiomohle had told my people that the popular and very economically viable Ugbowo and Akpakpava road constructions were done by his administration, he had already taken the full credit for the ongoing renovations of schools across the state etc , but today the informed ones among us know better, but must a governor discredit the president to be viewd as a performer? Exactly what Fashola is doing. FG has a very huge presence in Lagos but lagosians might think all they see are being done by the state govt. It beats my imagination that all we do is to sabotage our collective values and growth including the image of the country because of politics instead of building together. In advanced countries of the world the people come together to promote their collective values and interest immediately after election but it is the exact opposite in Nigeria. Elections are won based on ideology and not on propaganda and sabotage as seen especially with ACN. The people you seek to misinform today may get wind of the truth and turn against you when it matters most. A word is enough for the wise.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of President Jonathan In Coted’ivoire by Elueme: 11:58am On Mar 04, 2013
REALITY101: I'm not into Nigeria politics but I can say this man is a huge failure and disappointment. I could remember how excited Nigerians in LA and Texas was during his campaign and what they think of him now.

My family have mutual relationship with Mr. Jonathan but I think I am the only one among us that I've not been able to meet him just yet but if I do, I have just a few things to tell him.

Patience is green snake in a green grass. Selfish and full of pretense.

May the soul of Maryam Babangida rest in peace.

God bless Obasanjo and may he live long.

For now Mr. Jonathan is an assss and wrinkled pinky pussssy
You are a very big foool. Who the fucck are you? Get fuccked out of this thread. Who gives a damn on your relationship and why calling OBasanjo? Or is your family part of the plot? Bunch of losers!!

superior1: Kai, you beat me to it grin grin grin, so Jona is now going to Maiduguri after the APC Gov showed him the way huh huh huh
You must be very dull to think that the president is visiting maiduguiri because of those traitors on the cover of progressives. The logistics involve in a presidential state visit takes months so for your information, the Gov. Of Borno leaked out the information to his fellow retrogressives who are bent on employing all manner of propaganda to score cheap points by hurriedly staging a meeting in maiduguiri before the president.

Really? It's better than donating money to BH to acquire more IEDs because you want to mk a political statement.. If our entertainment industry is given the needed funding, support and coordination, the industry could contribute a fortune to our GDP. For now, we have the human resources to mk it work
PoliticsRe: FG Sets-up N3bn Fund For Nollywood by Elueme: 10:09am On Mar 04, 2013
This is surely a step in the right direction. But come to think, which sector of our economy has this president not affected? The vision is quite uncommon and only if our past leaders have this kind of foresight, am sure we would have been better today as a people.
PoliticsRe: Boko-Haram Attack Army Barrack In Maiduguri by Elueme: 10:36pm On Mar 03, 2013
Don't you think that these folks have used the # 200 million Aregbesola and his retrogressives gave to purchase weapons and more IEDs? BH cannot totally ceasefire, they were only buying time to reequip as they have run out of weapons and suicide bombers.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Destroys Slums In Lagos, Leaving Thousands Homeless by Elueme: 10:02pm On Mar 03, 2013
Fashola is gradually sliding into running a government that excludes the poor but every society cannot be aristocratic and fortunate as him and his god father Tinubu. The poor has a right to live just like Fashola or another person. This madness should stop now!
For his ass lickers on NL, it's now you believe that sacrifices need be made to reposition society but you never shared this view as regards fuel subsidy. Your hypocrisy is limitless.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Destroys Slums In Lagos, Leaving Thousands Homeless by Elueme: 9:50pm On Mar 03, 2013
FXKing2012: Sacrifices must be made for development to take place, but Africans usually dont like making sacrifices (except sacrificing to deities) which is why Africa is so underdeveloped.
Just the same way you didn't believe that sacrifice needed be made as regards fuel subsidy removal. It should be made now because of your benefactor Fashola. Smh @ your hypocrisy
PoliticsRe: Pro-Amaechi Govs Threaten Jonathan With Mass Defection by Elueme: 7:13pm On Mar 03, 2013
Why are these governors crying wolves now.. It is politics, the strongest carry the day just as the pro Jonathan's are doing. Amaechi is a visionary leader but he is to ambitious and arrogant to succeed at a national level, and he is to blind to understand that the core northern governors are only scheming to use him scuttle the chances of the president in 2015, but thanks to the Akpabios and the technocrats sorrounding the president. Politics has gone beyond ranting and shouting, it is now a game of the brains. The Jonathans have taken over the NWC , BOT and NGF is almost conquered, however, what am still ruminating over is the fact that these clueless critics still assume this great diplomat and leader to be clueless. When they are through with the internal enemies, APC shall intend be a pack of weak blocks.
PoliticsRe: Maku Attacks Fashola, Says Lagos Governor Has “something To Hide” By Rejecting “ by Elueme: 8:06am On Mar 02, 2013
This tells the kind of leaders Nigerians should expect from ACN . A people who talk from both sides of their mouth while still playing saints. What a dishonorable way to get the people's sympathy but a traitor like Fashola will deny Nigerians that he never obliged to agreement when it matters most.
PoliticsRe: Do Nairalanders Prefer PDP To APC by Elueme: 7:16pm On Mar 01, 2013
Any Nigerian who votes in APC is only taking the country a step forward and three steps backward. We don't need these strange fellows whose marriage was necessitated by greed and desperation for power. The euphoria that can be derived by their eventful enthronement will be shortlived by a government riddened by crisis, lack of focus and underdevelopment. We can't afford to start experimenting at this time of developmental road map as this present administration has started. This administration looks focused with its developmental agenda and am convinced that given few more years Nigeria will be better positioned.
We need opposition but that with an ideology and with character that are different from the old order in PDP. It is most appalling to observe that the expired old blocks in PDP are now the foundation block of APC , so where is the change? We are certainly not deceived!
PoliticsRe: N200m Donated To Victims Of Boko-Haram By APC Governors by Elueme: 2:59pm On Mar 01, 2013
kokoA: and your point is? By asking "where were they these while" are you talking about the APC that was formed some few weeks back? I think the right question should be "where is the presidency and his PDP gang?" What has PDP done to show the people of maiduguri that they part of Nigeria? PDP plays politics with the lives of Nigerians. Simply because Borno is an opposition state, they have refused to offer any form af assistance to the people of that state. I don't care if this is hypocricy on the part of APC, all I can see is APC leaders working on the streets of maiduguri, the most dreaded city in Nigeria, all I can see is leaders of a country waving to their people who have lost all hope because a man who they chose to protect them have lost hope in them and left them for terrorists to feast on. This is good 'hypocricy'!. PDP prove yourself!
Is this a damage control mechanism being employed? When the then ANPP govt of Sherif was recruiting this Boko boys for Bornu Election, where were you? What to you expect the PDP to do now that the fruits of their(ANPP) labour is coming to fruition. Why I am not surprised, least I forgot that Boko haram and APC are pursuing the same agenda; To Establish Northern Oligarchy, so why do I expect them to attack their (APC) promoters?
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Disappointed South-east –okorocha by Elueme: 1:54pm On Mar 01, 2013
Rochas is at the verge of making the biggest political mistake of his life and his political career is at the verge of irredeemable disrepute. Where are his advisers ? Why should Rochas of all people join ths anti- Ibo coup by supporting this northern and Yoruba path of enslaving the ibos and the minority south-south. Rochas problem has been overt ambition, understood that he might of been promised certain things but he should know that his identity cannot be denied and as such he is only being used to achieve a political means for these Ofemanus and their northern counterparts.
