Afam4eva: We should be the one telling you that you have done well and not you telling yourself. Only in Nigeria. And I can't help but wonder who his advisers are You didn't listen to the president else you won't vent in such ignorance. You have allowed the sensational style of our national dailies to make you a critic. The man asked for your objectivity, develop a workable marking scheme and use same to compare him with previous administrations in 2 years |
These legislators role will forever remain advisory. not binding on even me a common citizen. Carry go mr president! |
The bolded should tell you if at all you are not a tribal bigot that there is something inherently wrong in OBJ. I like him for something but he is too assertive. You could help somebody to be something in life but common sense should also allow you understand that the person needs freedom and not to be controlled like a puppet. This is Obj's problem! Gbawe: Not at all a fan of OBJ but can you listen to yourself? What always amazes me about people like you is your ingratitude and revisionism that makes you totally happy, any time and any day, to disregard what is obvious. |
Let them resign. They are swallats! |
Amaechi should be shown the way out since he has sworn to act in collabo with the opposition to destroy the party that made him who he is today. I am in support of the suspension, since he doesn't have honour to decamp. You can't say you be,ong to a party but can't obey the party's leadership nor obey the rules of the same party. |
o'boy:You guys should stop being petty and be mature for once. The OP in the first place seem juvenile to me hence it is needless to take him on his assertion which to a very large extent is his views. That said, I am aware that Ogidi is located in Anambra central which happens to be Sen. Ngigi's constituency couple with the fact that he's running for the Nov, 2013 governorship election which Gov. Peter Obi wants to be zoned out to another region hence the massive support and political grandstanding. Things like this don't impress or make any meaning to my likes who understands the politics behind the ovation. Gov. Obi is possibly to busy for such grandstanding. |
Dejohnbull: Pls let go sudan way' southsudan/northsudan. Southernnigeria/Northernnigeria is posible is not late lets do it united south. We don't need to go that way at least for now. We need to talk to ourselves, foster good understanding. The egocentric nature of some need to be addressed and let each region get what they deserve. I am a Niger deltan and I fully support the use of the Niger delta resources to develop the economy of Nigeria but what I frown at is the mentality of the feudalistic north( maybe some few elites in their rank) that others should be inferior to them. I am happy that the southern leaders are beginning to meet in this light to selflessly articulate position on ways to enhance mutual respect and existence in the nation, Nigeria. |
Shame on you Tinubu.so you enjoy seeing the blood of innocent citizens spilled so you can campaign with it in 2015! You goofed this time and gradually Nigerians are seeing beyond their nose. |
Having this thread is at first irresponsible. Nigerians have conscience hence know when to commend something good when they see one. I am appalled that ACN can choose to politicize the carnage going on in the north. I expected them to keep mum over this rather than spewing that garbage. CPC chose a better part but irrespective of the discordance in their tone, it doesn't translate to division among their ranks. |
These Boko haram sympatisers can cry blood, emergency rules stays. I think every non cow thinking person in the affected states should show understanding except these idiots in the name of ACF and AYF. Lest I forget, has that renegade old fool by the name Ango Abdullahi spoken? |
Tambuwal is a nobody why the party( PDP ) has ignored his anti-party activities all along. He should honourable declare his stand and join the APC, PDP doesn't need traitors and saboteurs like Tambuwal. Amaechi even has a better market value, who the heck is Tambuwal? |
phantom: i dont why but i still find it really hard to believe you are married with kids.i just have this feeling that you r either ekoile or bluetooths female handle cos honestly your posts are as intelligent as theirs. . Make una leave my darling Berem o. |
As ugly as her dad. The other girl isn't bad sha, just thinking who might be eating her shedas ![]() |
Some Nigerians will remain sadists as far as GEJ remain president hence why some will yarn scrap concerning this great initiative. I am not a beneficiary and neither do I know any beneficiary but I do know the aim of this programme is self reliance and industrialization hence to create jobs in the long run. This is the best way to go for now if govt wants to empower her citizens to be entrepreneurs and the multiplier effects will be great on the economy. imagine the Alakijas arising through these subventions. imagine the Dangote's that might arise through this programme.! I appreciate this one! |
@renoomokri: 1200 women have emerged winners of YouWIN2 in fulfillment of the promise President Jonathan made on 13/9/2012, http:///XemED5Krve |
solomon111: Is tinubu not wanted in the US?Just don't mind that disillusioned citizen. He would have been joyous if the defectors had been against PDP interest. |
mankand: Just like OBJ said, Jonathan administration is you chop i chop. Nigeria is now the most shameful country, i must admit i am ashamed to be a nigerian but at the same time, I am proudly Nigerian.Just try pretend and hide your identity. You need not manifest in your idiocy by foolishly resorting to name calling to drive home you blind views. Imbecilic |
dejgan: The real boko haram are tallking.....some people believe it was Buhari that started the Boko non-sense....but Asari was trained by Al-Qaeda. Henry Okah implicated GEJ and his men in the October 1st bombing which was the beginning of terrorist attack in Nigeria.Lies and more lies. Your likes peddle much falsehood insinuated from the figment of your imagination to drive home your propaganda. When ll you turn a new lease from your hatred? Because I have this level of conviction that this president had a greatervision than all before him but for a country destined for sabotage and primordial sentiments, credits maybe denied. I will appreciate if you allow the nigerdeltans to be the one complaining of on- performance, hence you need not cry more than the bereaved. |
Let us see how this ends. They better leave instead of continually wrecking havoc and anti-party activities which is one of the mission of some of the northern governors. People have failed to understand that irrespective of political parties that the northern oligarchy have an ideology that other part of Nigeria are conquered hence power should rest on them. This power appears to have slipped off their hands with the present PDP structure hence the formation of APC. These governors are secretly sympathetic to that born to rule ideology and will directly or indirectly support anything that will return power to their kinsmen so they continue squandering the commonwealth of the Niger deltans and other southern minorities. I may understand Tinubu's position but for Amaechi, I pity him because he has ostracized himself for good, hence soon will be understand what injustice he has melted on himself. |
Exactly. Asari shares in my thought and same with many Niger deltans today. Our ancestors were brainwashed to pursue the course of a greedy majority by fighting against the Biafrs dream. Insinuating that Ojukwu and co would have been dictatorial is only imaginative, it couldn't have been worse than what the north has put us through. It may be late but through a strong political alliance we can make the core north a minority in Nigeria politics but the Yorubas may play the spoil as they seem to be created to work for the north ![]() |
Seeing this on AIT Breaking News Bar. Hmmmmm. What the strategy is this time? Release their members just like that? You can't intimidate the state by this action BH. Ali Monguno is one of the weighty voice advocating leniency and amnesty for you so why kidnap him or is this another unintelligent plot by the sympatisers of this madness to get your murderer brothers of the hook? Just accept amnesty and stop these grandstanding. |
Oshiomohle said it was wrong for PDP leaders to complain about the council election, saying no weight should be attached to a complaint by an armed robber that he was robbed. He said, “If an armed robber is complaining of being robbed, it is your choice as to how much weight to place on his complaints. The history of rigging elections in Nigeria is as old as PDP. They have lived on it, they have perpetrated it, they have deepened it, have feasted on it and even celebrated it. Hmmm. Is Oshiomohle now saying that any illegality done to a former oppressor should be construeded as a divine punishment for the atrocities of the past? What is right is right and same with what is wrong. The governor is indirectly admitting to the accusation of irregularities but trying to justify his morale since the PDP is at the receiving end hence where is the change? An eye for an eye gonna leave us all blind. |
Boazizzy08: that is just the truth. they just need to forge ahead and stop pointing fingers. the earlier they do that, the better for them.A stitch in time saves ....At times we need put sentiment aside and follow reasoning. The merger parties have only been shown one of the many frustrations they could face and I hope they are brazened? Another crisis that could rock the boat is internal wrangling. The greed in Nigerian politicians will not allow for compromise so soon because everybody feels that he stands a good chance with the merger party. Then what will be the essence of the whole clamour? Is it for power grabbing or to give Nigerians an alternative platform ? |
The gladiators in this merger better listen to the voice of wisdom and go for another name. Politics is the same around the globe hence you can't blame what is happening on your rival political group when you would have acted to avert a foreseeable damage. I say this because I want the merger to succeed but those involve should stop banking on propaganda and sentiment to drive home their points. The African Congress Party has a case which is in court and chances are high they stand a chance which means they might finally have the right to the acronym. Tinubu and Buhari should be wise and do what is expedient before it's late. |
INEC dares opposition parties: You can’t register as APC By Ameh Comrade Godwin on April 29, 2013 The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has written to inform the All Progressives Congress, APC that its acronym, in the application seeking registration as a political party is clashing with that of the African People’s Congress. INEC in a letter dated April 23, 2013 and signed by its secretary, Abdulahi Kaugama, informed leaders of the All Progressives Congress that a change of name was the best option for them. Meanwhile, the African People’s Congress has also initiated a counter move to have INEC reject the application of the All Progressives Congress, which is expected to be submitted after all the merging parties had concluded their conventions. In a one-page letter by its lawyer, Awa Kalu, to the INEC chairman, dated April 26 and received same day by INEC, the African People’s Congress reminded INEC of the pendency of the legal action seeking to upturn the decision of INEC not to register the African People’s Congress, in a suit No FHC/ABJ/CS/224/13 between Chief Ikeagwuonu and 29 others vs INEC. Dailypost could recall that the African People’s Congress, a political party seeking registration, was earlier denied registration by INEC on the grounds that their application did not contain the address of its national officers, an action the party had said was untrue, stating that INEC was on a deliberate mission to stop it. Section 79 of the Electoral Act gives a political association, whose application for party registration is rejected, 30 days within which to seek judicial review of the decision, a provision the African People’s Congress had already exploited, with its pending litigation at the Federal High Court, Abuja, seeking judicial review of the decision of INEC. "Wisdom profits in all". The president is not foolish to fall in the trap Obasanjo is setting. As sincereniberian said, there are much important issues that need urgent and future attention than acting retrospectively. At the right time our past leaders will face the law but now seem to be a wrong time to enter into such a battle considering the fragility and sentiments in our land. |
solopumpy227: GEJ/PDP are, unwittinglly, advertising Rotimi Amaechi value to all. I used to "just like" Amaechi before but now I am loving him. He is demonstrating strong character, superior will, and progressive tendencies. No body is advertising Amaechi but him advertising himself by unnecessarily being too bold and confrontational. Amaechi is selling because all opposition to the president within the PDP and outside the PDP now easily find a good ally in him. He's on a very dangerous adventure because his games can make him or totally destroy him and I think he knows this himself. I was surprised when Amaechi was reportedly to have said the rift with the president is a media creation. He has never hidden it to people who meet him physically and in Feb, he spoke passionately about it when some of us met him on an official mission in Rivers State. Amaechi is strong willed and visionary though some of his ideas maybe high fallouting( that makes him my kind ) but he's very wrong by picking a quarrel with the president and for the wrong reasons. What is happening is political and most people may not understand. I will watch from a far but I doubt if he will survive this. |
berem: you want the best for me? you are not my father Elueme. I have noticed how you constantly attack me because i speak my mind. I have every right just like you to say how i feel about Jonathan's government. I must not lick your azz or that of Jonathan's and pretend all is well. If you think both of us have scores to settle, my email is available. we can always do it there. just let me be.nwane no be quarrel o. You can speak your mind but it should be done with good sense of humour and a level of decorum. We are africans, hence a culture that believes in moderation and respect. I may not further reply you as far as this topic is concerned and your point is however noted. I will email you if necessary.. One love |
berem: Elueme stick to the topic and stop being deluded. stop attacking my personality. did i ever disclose to you my marital status? stop attacking me unnecessarily biko!Nwane! I won't stop o. I want the best for you so gonna be on you to make you realize who you are and your identity. Insults not intended but your take on the president is uncalled for and unnecessary. |
berem: abi o! Amaechi is becoming famous while our presido is becoming more clueless and stewpid. This dude must be so jobless. I doubt your marital status because a woman married by a man can't be this ras and careless talking. At least your child ought to make you busy |
