PoliticsRe: Senator Annie Okonkwo Pulls Out 10,000 Apc Supporters For Comrade Tony Nwoye.... by Elueme: 12:21pm On Nov 10, 2013
The beginning of different twists of event. Six(6)days is such a long time to loss or win any election. NGIGE is popular, no doubt but the last time I checked, popularity only doesn't win elections in Nigeria but sentiments and party structure: two factors that may likely work against Onwa of APC. APGA is a party of trust in Anambra but PDP has the structure. This puts both parties at pars but if Tony Nwoye had started his campaign earlier, he probably wwould be a man to beat.

your joy is to see the continuous bickering by these two brothers to the benefit of your caffeine political party. Rivers People do not need a APC amphetamines to have a political elation.
As for who sent him? Real Niger Deltans did, as well as real Nigerians who understand the benefit of peace against the price of acrimony. Shove it bro

you are the wisest. You can take Hennessey on me. Suckers will be making noise killing themselves while politicians are having nocturnal meetings strategizing. Do Nigerians think that the G7 governors and their supporters will lose out completely and neither will it be in their longtime interest if they leave the PDP hence, a soft landing will be cosmetically prepared for peace to reign in a way that the presidency will not appear weak. I pity APC in the end cos they soon Bonner realised that they have been used by the G7 governors to settle scores.
PoliticsRe: Presidency To Amaechi, Join APC, Dont Consult Jonathan by Elueme: 10:20am On Nov 07, 2013
cooltone: Amaechi is the man any day. For GEJ those deceiving him that he has the support of the people especially the Igbos will be very shocked at the outcome of what will happen in the East come 2015. Ngige will triumph in Anambra to make the picture clearer and the remenants of obi's APGA will collapse.
To shock the PDP more, some other governors will decamp to APC apart from the G7.
where is this folks dreaming from? Wake up it's 10:10GMT. Ngige win Anambra? Good optimism but wishful thinking shouldn't be confused for reality, else you earn yourself depression. In the meantime, I don't think Amaechi has the clout and popularity you ascribed. Yes, he can't be rruled out completely but the interest against him are more and the seeming unpopularity isn't all because of the misunderstanding with GEJ, rather his enemies are now capitalising on that to have a legitimate fight with him. A situation he is nit handling maturely
PoliticsRe: Presidency To Amaechi, Join APC, Dont Consult Jonathan by Elueme: 10:10am On Nov 07, 2013
Gulak just earned more of my respect for this temerity and hope the msg is well sunk in by Amaechi and his cohorts. Enough of the grandstanding and playing to the gallery. If you feel you ain't comfortable with the PDP then take a bow and stop attracting undue sympathy by manipulating the minds of gullible Nigerians. The president and other stakeholders he was talking of consulting were never consulted before the political invitation gimmicks. I think Amaechi should grow up. This tactics will work but for a whIle before it fully backfires!!!

Rhino.5dm:
You ended up exposing your daftness. The pictures I POSTED, was it east west road or NOT? Can you STOP ranting and post pictures of your 65% completion? Why has your president refused using PH to Yenagoa FOR a second, since the day he became president? Every president atleast drive his motorcade to his village waving to welcoming crowds, but Jonathan uses chopper? Abi na island him house dey? LMAO!!!

What a silly toad you are.
your notes are in order but you should also state that it was the decades of neglect on that extremely important road by your kinsmen that has deprlived the president of the honour of moving in a motorcade waving at his people as you posited. But do we put politics aside in agreement that there is a renewed drive to fix that road?
PoliticsRe: 338km East-west Road Fast Nearing Completion- Leadership Newspapers by Elueme: 5:03pm On Nov 06, 2013
I was last at that road in February this year. The calabar-Akwa Ibom- Onne axis and the Benin-Warri-Kaiama axis are near completion but the problem lies with the Bayelsa- Ahoada _ Choba axis. Pessimists are waiting for the project to fail so they could have a point against the president instead of lookin at how they can play a role which will advance the course of progress on the said road. No doubt the FG wants the road fixed ASAP but the difficult terrain is making work go at a slow pace especially between kaiama in Bayelsa and Ahoada in Rivers where over 60% of the 50 bridges are required.
PoliticsRe: ‘north Should Decline Participation In National Dialogue’ - Ahmed Daku by Elueme: 11:26am On Nov 06, 2013
Fears are running down their spine. I can see why these northern elements would die instead of losing the grip and hold on power because they know they are the greatest benefactors of this contrapment called a republic, using the imbalance created by first the British who were scared of the consciousness of the south followed by their protracted rule via the military junta. The north know fully well that balance of power will expose the injustice and inequalities in the system hence people would demand for equity. That exposition is a reality and equity will be demanded via the national dialogue hence my Hausa fulani brothers are scared. Daku has just voiced what an average Hausa- Fulani is thinking but the game maybe up. Refusing dialogue is an invitation to anarchy. Nobody is anybody's stooge anymore
PoliticsRe: ‘Blame Amaechi If APC Leaders’ Visit Turns Violent’ - Obuah by Elueme: 11:34am On Nov 04, 2013
The best that can be done is to show Nigerians with proof that crowd are being hired from neighbouring states and that Amaechi does not have the clout and home base support period!. It will be wrong to stampede their visit, a plan I know the president cannot endorse if brought to his knowledge. I will advise all rabble crazers who might be so quick to insult our amiable president on this to postpone their insults for some more reasonable ventures. Bshari, Tinubu, Oshiomohle and co are Nigerians hence, are free to go anywhere to campaign within the Nigerian state but the people shall decide who they want.

PoliticsRe: APC Has Captured G-7 Governors, Says Buhari by Elueme: 2:03pm On Nov 03, 2013
This has once again brought to the fore my earlier suspicion that these APC hAve no ideological base but rather vindictive and consummated with the passion to rule at all cost and plunder our collective wealth. A people you have berated for being eternally corrupt and being the trend you are fighting to uproot are the same people you are wooing to add to your political strength; that is lack of integrity and principle, hence how can a position of leadership be entrusted in the hands of these persons which in whom anything goes?

TravelRe: Another Plane Crash Averted In Abuja by Elueme: 10:50am On Oct 29, 2013
I don't see how this is a big deal. A plane returned back to the air because the tarmac was not free is not like a plane almost crashed. Then facing turbulence or piloting via the sky should as well be a near miss. I sense sabotage
PoliticsRe: Governor Aliyu Pulls-out Of New Pdp by Elueme:
This Aliyu May be wise afterall.. A wise soldier knows when to retreat but the fool go unyielded and are destroyed. This is the fate of people like Amaechi who will allow pride and foolhardeness obligate their reasoning.. Their is no future with this group. Jumping to APC maybe suicidal, pdm maybe too young to gather momentum and it maybe too late to float a nee political platform. The best alternative is to remain in the PDP and fight... ( singing in Bob Marley's tone: " He who fights and run away, live to fight another day"wink

PoliticsRe: Port Harcourt Is working (pictures) by Elueme: 5:32pm On Oct 16, 2013
Symphony007: victoria island is the heart of lagos, center of commerce. Home to many corporate headquaters but it still gets flooded when it rains. Goodluck jonathan has never driven to otuoke, he flies in a chopper from port harcourt airport. What is the state of his community road? What is seriake dickson doing with his billions of naira budget? Why does'nt yenegoa have a single flyover? Bayelsa is one of the smallest states in nigeria. What are they doing with their 300 billion naira budget when other states double it's size get only a fraction of that. You guys are stupid partisan attack dogs and critics. If you want to attack inefficiency or underperformance, call out the whole pack and stop cherry picking those who oppose king jonathan.
Why are you barking like a dog that is just let loose? You are stressing yourself too hard to defend a course you are sentimental oblige to but that doesn't erase the obvious. Amaechi compare to Odili is a performer but that performance is relative and does not necessarily mean a pass in the true sense of performance. Why has he slowed down on the pace at which he started in his first tenure or was all the abracadabra a plot to win himself to becoming a V.P following the erroneous believe that GEJ won't seek a re-election? Sorry to disappoint mr Rotimi, performance should be devoid of self and ulterior motive and that is what affected the psyche of Amaechi hence his abysmal performance in his 2nd tenure.
May I crave your indulgence to stop using flyover as a yardstick for development? Flyovers are built based on insistence need while a futuristic projection is also put in the fore. However, important it maybe it may not be what is most needed in Bayelsa.
Lastly, I am not convinced on your assertion on Akpabio and debt profiling. Akpabio no doubt had performed wonders in AKS but it still has a moderate debt index( can't produce the index handy). Don't misinform the people cos of hate
PoliticsRe: LATEST NEWSJOBS National Conference Will Set North Against South – Shehu Sani by Elueme: 1:49pm On Oct 16, 2013
From we are not afraid of talk - north can survive if Nigeria breaks- now, conference will set north against south. This man should tell us what they are afraid of instead of boring us with inconsistence rhetorics everyday. WE MUST HOLD THE CONFERENCE EVEN IF IT LEADS TO THE DEMISE OF ANY UNHOLY UNION.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is Ignorant And Mischievous - Doyin Okupe by Elueme: 9:10pm On Oct 14, 2013
gregg2: Is Okupe lying about the following roads? People who live along these areas should confirm.

a. Benin – Ore Road (agree with Okupe 100%. That road is about one of the best roads in Nigeria currently)

b. Kano – Maiduguri dual carriage way (I don't know this road)

c. Enugu – Port Harcourt (Used it last long ago before GEJ became president)

d. Abuja – Abaji – Lokoja (Used it last in 2011. Quality of work was superb and work was progressing steadily with several flyovers and pedestrian bridges expecially around Giri, Gwagwalada and Abaji)

e. Apapa – Oshodi Express way (Quality of work is superb and progressing steadily)

f. The 160 billion Lagos – Ibadan Expressways which is currently under reconstruction (Haven't been to Ibadan recently so don't know about RCC's part from Shagamu to Ibadan but the Julius Berger part Lagos to Shagamu work has started in earnest between Shagamu and Redeem camp)
With the exception of Lagos-Ibadan-shagamu road which I haven't travelled through in about 2 years now, I can attest to the other roads mentioned by Okupe. Benin-Ore axis is masterpiece but can't say much about Ore- Shagamu but learnt it's almost complete now. Abuja-Lokoja has seen a renewed commitment and it maybe commissioned next year after successive govts couldn't revive it. Enugu Portharcourt was a shame of a nation but the road is in a very top shape as a trunk A road. The Kano-Maiduguri dualization is complete etc.

Why should Gloria and her kins learn bini language and not the other way round? Maybe you lack in depth into the complexities of what is on ground but it's a great deservice to the igbanke people that they were lumped into Edo state. Ogbemudia master minded this nonsense out of greed and self interest not minding the consequences it was going o have on many generations.

When you tell them this is Niger delta and we run things while things don't run us, they start drooling all over the thread. I just pity Ngige, already the smell of defeat has made him crying over the media houses that Obi is sponsoring the defacement and destruction of his posters.
PoliticsRe: Rebel Governors, Others Suffer Double Setback by Elueme: 11:07am On Oct 11, 2013
What were these men expecting? You can't use illegality to correct another perceived illegality hence you lose your value and your strength becomes your weakness. They had the clout to cause upset but they allowed their strength to rubbish them by exercising it wrongly. I would say their advisers did them no good. The battle is lost, it is either they settle it amicably or they leave the battle whomtheylaimed to be founding members.

We were too hateful and cynical about Ghadaffi. Yeah, his dictatorial tendency was condemnable but the the means of his( Ghadaffi ) exit and the possible consequences were not properly put in perspective hence the very precarious situation we are having in Africa today.
