Benwems: Oga it's a lie. You just an MTN fanatic. The best network for browsing is Etisalat. everyone knows. Whats my own with fanboyism. I've used Glo, Airtel and MTN in the past 2 years. How can you be the best network when you have poor coverage? It's just like NTEL claiming to be the best when they arent still outside maybe 5 cities. I accept that Etisalat is fast, but MTN is present in even rural to less urban areas and still bloody fast. I download at 2 megabytes per second man. |

Rainmania: Op nice tips. But mine is fast like all the time. Without all this tweaking Perhaps most of you guys are staying in a cave because all this noise about Glo slow , this and that. Me on the other hand had to drop my spectranet because I can't come and be paying for two sub every month .And Glo was doing me right. My Glo streams movie at 1-3mbps . Amd that gets the job done for me. So that's why everyday I'm streaming Downloading is so 2000 and late already. Perhaps you are a person who expects everyone to live in Lagos or some state capital. MTN 3G is blazing fast even in some towns. |
Phones › Re: How To Make Glo Network Browsing Speed Fast Like Mtn,etisalat by Elxandre(m): 1:11pm On Apr 08, 2018 |
Benwems: OP must be an MTN agent. There is only one super fast network provider in Nigeria. and that's Etisalat. Irrespective of your location. it's always fast and download speed is incredible. Nigerians can't afford Etisalat because it's expensive. Then maybe Airtel follows. MTN is shit. The reason we criticize Glo too often is because it's a Nigerian owned company. End of discussion. MTN is the most reliable network in Nigeria with averagely fast speeds in most places in Nigeria. Etisalat doesn't even have anything close to MTN's coverage. MTN is not shit! |

Messi fans can be childish sha.
How would you compare a goal scored in a friendly match to one scored against Juve in the champions league?
Payet beat the whole defence to score when he was still in England but didn't receive so much ovation because it was scored in an ordinary league fixture, and not in some cracking decisive match.
It's just the way Marco Van Basten's goal in the Euro final 30 years ago is still well regarded, despite the fact that many volleys have since surpassed his. The platform for your achievement determines the ovation! |

maasoap: Where did you learn that? I don't mind reading it up where you got that gist. Virus are organisms that are partially living and partially non living things. The moment they are outside the body of their hosts, they take the form of non living things. In that state, they live/survive forever. And the moment they find a host again, they will come back to life. well, read it on some forum. Also,on an American forum, A dad was concerned that the clipper cut his son, and a few doctors assured him that his son is unlikely contract hiv, and especially for the fact that the blood isn't enough to cause that from a clipper. if HIV had high rates of transmission through clippers, believe me most Africans would be infected already. many barbers in rural to less urban cities, even express surprise when u tell them to treat their tools. You start wondering if they live under rocks. |

maasoap: With clipper, HIV or hepatitis don't need visible bleeding before it can spread from one person to another. All what it needs is an invisible cut (to the naked eye). If you wash your head after barbing or shaving your hair and you feel the sting of the water or soap, it means you already have a cut. And there is no way you wouldn't feel the sting. Pls, we're educated. If Nigeria will be better, it rests on us. Can this kind of practice stand in a sane society? HIV dies in moments of exposure. The chances of contracting HIV through clippers are really slim. That doesn't justify the rubbish CU did though, because it's not only HIV out there. I would rather be expelled than go through this. Are those students babies for chrissakes? |

Jeferious: Ronaldo is a super player, I admit that. He's hardworking too. Agreed. But I don't understand the hype about his hardworking part. Does he cover more distance than the other 21 players on the field during a match?
Ronaldo is not as hardworking as the media puts it. In reality, he's a very economical player, and he's shining on the strength of others. Otherwise, justify why a player, who is supposed to be at the wings providing crosses and passes for the team's ultimate striker, would always lurking in the opponent's penalty box. Or is he, and not Benezema, now Madrid's top 9?
If you can answer the above question without sentiments, you'd definitely want to take something away from the praises you shower on CR7. Marcelo and Carvajal are the real hard workers. They attack, they defend. They bear a very large chunk of providing attacking opportunities for Madrid, and they are also responsible for making sure that opponent's wingers don't do much damage from the flanks. If you really mean to shower praises, give them their due- lion share for that matter.
I don't even want to talk about Modric and Casemiro: it takes more than being a good midfielder to shut out Dybala. Of course you would ignore Varane and Ramos, because to mark Higuain is a very easy task(rolls eyes).
In conclusion, Ronaldo is not as hardworking as he is hyped. He's more economical with his strengths than you are being told. And he may be the club's highest goalscorer, but not their best player. And that acrobatic goal is not more 'Puskas' than Eriksen's and Ibrahimovic's long range efforts last week for Tottenham and LA Galaxy respectively. You are being unfair if you expect a 33 year old man to have the agility of a 25 year old. Even Messi has arguably lost a lot of his destructive ability, and he's not even 31 yet, and that's despite his low centre of gravity, which gives short guys like him an advantage. Meanwhile, Ronaldo played on the wings and was a spectacular dribbler for most of his Career, and almost singlehandedly carried madrid for many seasons. I wonder if you started watching footie only a few years ago. I doubt you understand that Ronaldo has scored almost all Madrid goals in the UCL this season. If that isn't applausible what is? |

nextstep: How about Obi, Spinall, and Exclusive, their father or rich aunty made it possible ba? How about all the other endorsements - Wizzy, Tiwa, Tekno, to mention a few? Is it her father that made "Cactus on the Roof" possible? Or you think events, parties, and night clubs around the world pay her to DJ just because, you know, her father asked them? Why can't people just acknowledge personal hustle and respect a person's hard work - even if she is from a rich home?
I'm not carrying her matter for head, but at some point this "her father this, her father that" has got to stop, because it robs the person saying it of the fact that one has hustle and work smart/hard for your own. If you make the excuse that things are possible merely because of who you are related to, then you're resigning yourself that you cannot change your destiny. Mr man don't box DJ spinall with her. He's not on her level as a DJ. Oh yes, her fathers name got her the fame she has, not what she does as an artiste. Every opening paragraph in articles or story about her always read (Billionaire's daughter}. It isnt a bad thing to leverage on such opportunity and privilege, buf it doesnt alter the truth still. Edit: You say her Dad's name isnt her propeller, but is it understandable how she was chosen to entertain Macron when he came around.? Was she really the best around? How many big shows does she headline as DJ? |
Celebrities › Re: DJ Cuppy Mocks Comedian Ushbebe After Signing Pepsi Endorsement by Elxandre(m): 8:24pm On Mar 26, 2018 |
nextstep: The management at Pepsi obviously thinks her endorsement will help sell more products and generate more revenue. Who cares if this is her sole source of income or if this is a side project, or if it's something she's is really taking seriously. I want to have many many sources of income - engineering, real estate, music, investments, small trading, teaching (as do most Nigerians). Why is that a criterion for whether an endorsement is deserved or not? Who said that was a criterion? I'm just saying she isn't really deserving of the endorsement based on her exploits as a DJ. Note that only DJs were chosen. Anyone can easily name more accomplished DJs than she is. |
Celebrities › Re: DJ Cuppy Mocks Comedian Ushbebe After Signing Pepsi Endorsement by Elxandre(m): 5:32pm On Mar 26, 2018 |
that endorsement was hardly deserved. She isn't yet distinguished as a Deejay. Can she say she makes a living solely out of this unlike the rest like DJ Spinall? |
