saintdennis:You see why I don't bother with this section? Most of you are too emotional and sentimental. What in the world is Wailers and Zombie if not for the pathetic orientation of the Nigerian people? I criticize based on what I see. I have even commended this government on several issues, and still defend them at home against members of my family who supported during the elections, but are frustrated right now. That still doesn't stop me from speaking against ills like hiring Tens of SANs to defend an uncomplicated issue like presentation of school certificate. So my friend, I'm quite non partisan and haven't lost my reasoning to sycophancy! OBJ and Atiku were unquestionably involved, but are still free, so why would anyone think Aisha would be under any threat even if she's guilty? I never found sense in the argument anyways that she would be arrested. I only found the banters comical and amusingly entertaining. I forgot to add, who cares about the additional megawatts to be added when the present one has been supplying us zero KW? My place used to have light at least 22 hours per day, but just look at the gross inefficiency right now. The Government's job is to ensure security of the pipelines, and how they do this isn't actually of priority to the citizens. |
Another day has come for unserious youths to come together, discussing mundane issues not even the least beneficial, but divisive in nature, while somewhere in Abuja, the supposed leaders of their crews dine together. I still don't have light after hundreds of days, but the so called enlightened youths will see nothing beneficial to discuss than defending their Oga's wife, as if her not being Aisha Burton will improve their fortunes. ![]() If chief proponents like OBJ and Atiku are still free, why do people even think any other Nigerian involved would be under threat? Commonsensical reasoning is not common. |
To be frank, Rooney with Zlatan will never Work. We already know that Zlatan plays the same role with Rooney, i.e. dropping deep to playmake. And they are both sluggish. Play Zlatan alone as a target man, or play Rashford alongside. |

2kurupt:Hahaha... So you marked me as a windows phone jihadist. ![]() Seriously I'm never a fan boy of anything. In fact I can't buy any Windows phone right now for a friend. I'm just trying to understand what makes a stock iPhone superior to a stock W8.1 asides apps. I'm very familiar with Android for sure, so this isn't a closed minded argument. I should have even moved to Android by now already but for financial constraints.. I've told you to stop judging WP by 8.0 standards which was what you used. Lol |
Geniro let's face it, MS has fvcked up in their execution of grand plans. Their greatest mistake is dropping behind of W8.1, when W10 apps isn't backwards compatible with it. KitKat users can run almost any Android apps, while W8.1 can't run anymore new apps. Pathetic. Those Kitkat users etc is what gives Android it's seemingly monstrous market share right now. |
greenhulk:Abeg, Since when did Safari start uploading documents (not pictures) 'out of the box'? The architecture is fuvked and there are still brilliant apps made by even unknown developer's? Okay, 6tag, a third party app for Instagram, or Tubecast a third party app for YouTube are quite incredibly quality apps, but Facebook inc which has more resources compared to a single developer like Rudy hyn couldn't make a decent Instagram app. Tell me how that's the architecture's fault. There are great video apps, but VLC never managed to make a quality app, so whose blame is that? And WP is not as old as you think. WP7 is different from WP8, and W10 is almost another rewrite aimed at unifying the experience of all the W10 powered devices. XBOX, PC, Phones, and all that. This has probably contributed to their sluggish progress, as too many users get alienated too often, eg the move to W10 had too many W8.1 users stranded. I know you evaded the Tizen and BB10 Saga, but continue ![]() |
greenhulk:Yes, I don come! ![]() WP is better than an unjailbroken iPhone by a mile! The browser on WP can actually upload files, download any file type, works seamlessly in mass storage mode when connected with PC, and has a file manager. That is how a phone should work 'out of the box'. Don't forget the regular user eg a businessman, won't be jail breaking his phone. The only reason WP is behind the competition is apps. Developers these days don't make apps for fun, but they do so to earn from the most populated application stores, and the funny thing is people won't still buy a phone without apps. It's a vicious cycle. New operating systems have almost no chance to grow. Just look at Tizen. Even BB10, as excellent as it is, is as good as dead, just because devs neglected it. |
greenhulk
just wait till i charge my phone to reply you.
lol |
greenhulk:the only thing ios has over wp 8.1 upwards is apps! |
greenhulk:Check the Hp elite x3 Windows phone. |
My major problem with these churches is their lack of impact in the society outside the church environ. People wonder why Christianity spread like wildfire in Africa. Why wouldn't it spread with the major impact the missionaries made in improving the lives of the local populace? They built hospitals, clinics, schools, and made them quite accessible to the impoverished and proletarian alike. Now compare that to our much richer modern churches. They have hardly made any impact in the lives of people outside the church. We can't point to any major impact they make in the society despite being rich enough to acquire multiple private jets. The schools established by the biggest of the mega churches are not even cheap enough despite the churches being rich enough to provide heavy subsidies for the fees. At this juncture, many will frown and say "it costs money to run a school or build hospitals." I don't think many fully comprehend how much these churches are worth. Tithes and offerings/vows from several thousands of members obviously accrue into substantial sums. If the church fully engages in active humanitarian endeavors, they wouldn't even have to preach/evangelize much before multitude fill up every single seats every Sunday. The church shouldn't be run as a business outfit where the ultimate goal is an account balance in the green. I still remember how the stranded guy and the church member woman who couldn't get school fees for her ward at a crucial period were 'helped'. They placed them in front of the church auditorium and announced an offering towards their cause. The woman was down cast when she couldn't raise anything close to her projected need. What would have been wrong with the church simply taking from the church coffers and helping the woman directly? Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. This is the real goal of the church, not who has the largest auditorium or the most private jets. Nothing wrong if we see local projects emblazoned with the name of churches in our neighborhoods. Things like boreholes to save the locals from health risks they are exposed to with water not-potable enough. Ps: I was still in church today, before you start thinking I'm an atheist. Happy Sunday. ![]() |

And why in this world do we still have this foolish rivalry amongst African countries? Would Europeans go online to celebrate a neighboring country's misfortunes? I've never seen a thread on Nairaland involving Ghana, Nigeria and SA which doesn't end up in insults and petty name calling These are signs of 'unintelligence'. |
OohLalah:Ohhh... You just had to bring this Xenophobia thing up. ![]() At least the mods are only banning, not stoning people to death on the streets. |
Rossikk:It's difficult reading through a thread with you involved! Why are you always rude and abrasive towards others, even though there are often many flaws in your ideologies. Your superiority complex is disgusting! |
May your 'faith' in Jamb get you admitted. |
Suddenly everyone is an old soul ![]() Some are claiming Old/baby... How can those even overlap? Lol I don't know if this is related to this theory though Could there be any reason why I see some persons, and I feel I've certainly met them, even when I'm in an entirely strange land? And some situations just flashes in my head like I've gone through them before in the exact same manner and place it's presently manifesting. Hehe... |
