Health › Re: A Father's Daunting Experience With A Traditional Bone Setter by Elxandre(m):
On a sunny Sunday in April that year, I was playing International superstar soccer Deluxe on Sega with my great friend named Dean.
My lil bro wanted sunset riders, but the rivalry between me and Dean was too much to entertain any break in our soccer, and he was even leading 3-2 angry (our last game ever! angry )
He walked out annoyed and decided to scale High jumps.
I don't know why, but he decided to climb the wall of an uncompleted building to get sticks for the 'High-jumps'.

The next thing we heard was a crashing sound and screams of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!!! grin
We scurried to the scene to find his leg severely damaged by broken blocks.
Never seen such a traumatizing injury as that

Dean rushed to call my mum and aunt in our house on his bicycle.
Immediately my mum arrived, they went straight to the Baba Bone setter man, and work commenced on it.

Doctors were shocked by the gruesomeness of the injury and the bleeding that surfaced after some days.
They were really pessimistic about the chances of complete restoration of the leg, so they had to stick to the traditional man.

5 months later, he started walking again!!!

Bottom line is as far as Nigeria is concerned, the Local Bone setters are better than our hasty and unequipped doctors who would hang the POP wrapped leg for months and suggest amputation for complicated cases before you say 'Bone' cheesy
Only a few hospitals are good enough in such cases in Nigeria.

The western world is a different level entirely, because football players suffer multiple fractures, but still get back to 100 percent in a few months.

If you are consulting a Local bone doctor, be sure you aren't patronizing a charlatan, else you are finished!

Can't African women make money with their brains?
What else can African women offer aside their bodies?

You're not serious bro.
Those Oyinbo men worked for their money, while Buhari has gone to bring back the stolen money by politicians.

Seriously, illegal money isn't good money!
The consequences run deeper than what you see on the surface. smiley

I've seen people waste their time and consequently their lives, that should have been used to develop themselves, waiting for that 'client' that never comes.

Imagine you use the time you sit waiting for a client, for something like learning comp. programming, Learning how to produce songs, video directing etc, you could just become the next Jason Njoku, Clarence Peters, Don Jazzy, Seun Osewa. cheesy

You have been heard, now run along. Next time you quote me to spew trash, I'll make ur life miserable.
You are so shallow that you couldn't even invent a new line aside the moroniç condom story.

I know you are a dolt anyways and I won't bother with such maggots of course.

You think everyone is as pathetic and live loveless lives like you, to bother enough and be miserable because of what one foool at 40 has to say online?

I'm even more sorry for you, because I would be ashamed if my 40 year old uncle is so daftt and can't even hold a conversation without sounding like a Neanderthal.

Exactly; That is the problem I have with some NL who're always quick to tag someone broke when one speaks against gold digging or financial recklessness.
Only if the guy I responded to can catch a glimpse at my LinkedIn profile, He would send me a pm to apply as my houseboy.
No be on Nl here we saw the phones these stinkingly rich business men are using, and how even a Dangote negotiated parking space fee when it cost him nothing to pay the stipulated fee.
Nobody cares about a Dangote on a phone thread.
You are being silly sir!

The same Dangote you mentioned as being a responsible spender is said to have several mistresses he treats to luxurious lifestyles.
He even has a luxurious yacht and two private jests which many more responsible spenders like Warren Buffett see as an absolute waste.

Otedola uses Vertu phones running into several millions of Naira, and also has a yacht, which will depreciate in value over time, just like a Phone would.

I was,so also other well-meaning Nigerians.Anyone doesnt deserve trust, they earn it.GEJ government was full of corruption,Pple lost trust in his government and yet he wanted to compound our problem by subsidy removal bcs we were sure the money would still be embezzled. His government was not to be trusted with money, how could such a government convince nigerians of his sincerity of purpose to remove subsidy.Nigerians were not all fools.
GEJ just came on board 8 months before 2012 January.

There wasn't uproar about corruption in his government by then.

The reason Nigerians kicked against it was because the prices were going to be increased as a result of the removal of the subsidy.

Can you imagine buying 1.5GB data and having only 30K average speed on a good day on HSPDA+?

Later they will tell us to patronize home made goods, when they only know how to spend on Wizkid and co, instead of working on their quality.

I doubt Adenuga is aware though that his company is almost being ran aground data wise, after all he's not an engineer.

I'll rather invest the money in a SME than buy waste money on this. What is it with Nigeria and their voracious appetite for foreign goods. Youths in Europe , asia and some western countries are breaking grounds, taking on and solving world's problems, while the lazy Nigeria Youths will rather sit his lazy ass down waiting for a discovery to be made, waiting for the next edition of iPhone without using his mental faculty to think of how it is made and what he can do to contribute to the body of knowledge.
He then thinks of how to acquire those things to the detriment of this country's economy. He then turns around to blame Buhari for the hardship in the country. Very lazy Nigerian youths with no capacity for critical thinking and problem solving. All they're very good at doing is to buy buy buy, consume consume and consume.
