Well he's been found guilty...

But see how they narrate his story... He's made to look so innocent... Like a victim in all of it...

Then read how they talk about Mason Greenwood...
I forgot to add, Maguire is a joke on social media these days cos of the incidence.
What else do you expect them to do with him?

Get sacked from united for the case and wasting the 80m spent in signing him just a year ago?

... Just to add, the England manager said he wasn't going to drop maguire... Public outcry made him drop him

Mason Greenwood was kicked out within 3hrs
Greenwood actually put the team at risk with his actions because they have to be careful cos of covid.

Maguire incident happened long before before the match and has nothing to do with the team directly.

I am sure the judge must have calculated his networth and future earnings. She gets a payout of ~$6.4milion dollars. For a man that’s worth hundreds of millions of dollars and a family net-worth of over a billion dollars, to him that payout is equivalent to 64 dollars. That’s also probably a tax write off for him. He will be fine, he’s still worth hundreds of millions, in 10 years before her payout is complete he would have made 3x that in income. Meanwhile here, the price of bread has increased cry
You didn't have this info before you made your initial post.

Like it or not though, this is gold digging.

Imagine a court ruling you have to pay 100k to an ex boyfriend monthly after he dumped you, simply because you used to assist him and his kids financially.

Ok, now we agree, the reason I jumped on this thread is the “law favours women” phrase, it’s not like the communal property law is only assigned arbitrary to men.

I don’t care about Western laws they don’t govern me, from what I am able to glean if a partner has been with you for an x number of years then they believe he/she is good enough for you to achieve what you did, I guess maybe they look the human as a whole. If you’re happy in your relationship then you perform better and whoever is in your life during this period deserves some sort of compensation for what you gained during the relationship. Remember these are laws passed by them and most abide to it. Also there’s always a choice, you can always choose to go through this life alone.
So she deserves 50k monthly because they were together, even though the man tried marrying her but she refused?

Not even 10k, but 50k monthly, from a man that pampered her and her kids!

It's the m oronic man I blame anyways. If she was his baby mama, at least it would have made more sense, now he's going to train people's children for 10 years. Haha cheesy
Family › Re: Man Ordered To Pay His Ex Girlfriend $50,000 Per Month In Canada by Elxandre(m): 12:54pm On Sep 12, 2020

I was referring to the general reason why courts award settlements to spouses. In this case while no kids, he was with her for 14 years that’s a long time to be with someone that adds no value to your life, some marriages don’t even last that long.

The bolded, duh because men are like 4x richer than women. The law will still apply to a rich woman that kept a man as a companion for 14 years. The law will not say “because you’re a woman then I favour you don’t pay this man”
Did you miss the part where he proposed severally to the woman and she rejected him?
So being treated like thrash by lovers is now the justified way?

that idea of looking in her person"s phone is wrong and truely overseas police has no right to look at ur phone..they have no right to search ur house either if they dont have a warrant. But in a place like the US if u are dressed in a thick hoody on a hot summer day and u acting strange when u see a cop they would question you and ask for your documents and if they dont find anything off they will let u go.To me ooo it always pays when u dress responsibly. And this could explain why even in europe most times illegal immigrants are scared to come out very much during daytime cos a police could stop u at random and routinely ask for your documents. For naija police the harrasement they engage in daily is to pick out yahoo boys so the yahooboys can sort them out(bribe)
We're citizens here not immigrants.

i very much agree with the tatoo and dreads but for car what of if its actually ur car and have a licence to show for it
so u mean a young man who has a job and he has car cos the car is neat looking police will now clamp him? cheesy
it doesnt work that way
naija police are not fools
most of the young dudes u see them clamping who have cars cant exactly explain themselves how they came up with such expensive rides
for example an 18 yr old boy riding the latest Venza and has no job whatsoever na how im wan take explain to police
u cant tell me someone who is gainfully employed or self employed and now purchased a ride will now get arrested by the police. If them harass u show u driving licence, then show them ur id card and the identity card of the place u work.for example if u work in Gt bank or any company of sorts they will issue u their identity cards.show all this to the police and lets see if they will dare arrest u.na wen u guilty dem go arrest.Even in US if u are very young or underage and u riding an expensive car police will be forced to question to know more about u.
And as for laptops if police stop u to ask wetin dey ur laptop show wetin dey inside to proof u are not a yahoo boy.wen i was in naija wen police enter one lodge i stay to settle matter b/w boyfriend and girlfreind one of them walked over to me cos i was with my laptop.without arguement i showed him what i was using it for and he checked to see if there was any of those programmes that scammers make use it.im no see anything and walked away. And another thing stop running when u sight a police officer.Running away proves u are probably guilty and such will make the police run after u.Only the guilty are afraid.
You have a point with the work ID.
However, there are self employed people without ID cards.
I don't think an e-commerce guru or an actual cryptocurrency dealer or a freelance software developer would necessarily have an ID card.
Though I know criminal elements hide under these guises but it's absolutely wrong profiling people without any evidence.

Police abroad can't even look into your phone without a warrant. What are you talking about?

I get your point too.
Basically making it all about Nigerian stuff. It's good to be unique and different, I get.. but you still gatz make it appeal to a larger audience.

How many Nigerians are still going to legally purchase that title? There are some cases you can still make a mad game, and still pop a few Nigerian reps.
Yes, but not to switch up the whole concept for repping sake.
You have said all I couldn't type!

I mean we don't even know where a lot of the biggest games originated from till we make Google searches.

See how this one is talking undecided How many non Nigerian games have u bought from d play/app store?? Even if u had, is it ur one in 5yrs purchase that d developers will live on?

Well i won't argue with u because
1. U don't have a business that requires attending to a very large audience.

2. U are not a game developer.

But still let me tell one thing, don't u think people have invested in game development in Nigeria ?? Do ur research and find out why d abandoned it.

My final verdict : web Development is d most lucrative aspect of programming in Nigeria.
You don't talk like a programmer.
So much assumptions about an anonymous character online.

It requires large investment and I've been mostly disappointed with the quality/theme of games by Nigerian developers.
They often target Nigerian market which isn't even big nor rich enough to yield anything reasonable.

I remember how they made a game to try cash in on Oga at the top. Lol.

@ Cassim33
Don't mind him (d quote above). Focus on web development instead. Or else u'll be competing against big companies (that spend millions of dollars on making games) which I'm very sure u cannot keepup.

If u're hell bent on making games, make simple hyper causal games and monitize it with ads.

Read my previous 2 post on the thread with d quote attached

Its simple logic. Everyone is willing to pay for what makes him money in return (i.e people are willing to pay for an e-commere web app because they'll make money from it) but not everyone is willing to pay for entertainment not to mention that entertainment is different for people. Some prefer movies to games while some prefer physical games and still yet out of d few that plays video games, not all of them are willing to pay for it.
Web development pays in Nigeria?
I can't remember intentionally visiting any Nigerian sites recently except from Twitter and nairaland links.
Not to mention the fact that almost all of them die out soon.

I think a big problem is Nigerian games being too Nigerian. You start playing and Nigeria is plastered all over the games.
Just make a game fgs.
