Talent is not there we’re the ones who put imaginary value and talent there.
We have no cutting-edge technical play to out play opponents we’ve never had that so i don’t blame them now.
From day one if individual brilliance don’t save us nothing will.
Our boys are too inconsistent and fumbles when the meet players of equal or above standards Now someone making sense here, even d individual players saved rohr blushes in d early years when we had d result(d likes of mikel and vmoses.) |

With the right tactics and team selection the team will fare better
A team that can boast of

Just to mention those I can remember now should be ignored inorder to accommodate obscure league players?

2015 till this day has been one failure after another and you still want to stick with the old standards of things ? Wc foolish standards sef, d so called best in Europe dt can’t keep d ball for more Dan 2-3minutes is d best? Abeg ,I support u,we can’t continue dis way,it’s eida Dey re not committed enough or feel too relaxed ,after all ,7years now no trophy ,so y stick to a standard dts obviously not working, just going down d drain as d year keeps going I doubt even if we can win d 2024 afcon with dis so called “our standard players” |

AndSunGorilla: It is not the players oga, I strongly believe coaching has been our problem for a while now. Coaching and also organization majorly. Oga no be coaching go teach u basics of aw to pass and play with each oda,dis has been lacking in our games ever since, even d games we win ,na mostly from counters...deres something fundamentally wrong with our team dt needs urgent attention. I am not talking about d coaching aspect now,but d team itself.haven’t u seen oda teams play? Even in defeats u enjoy deir game But in. Our own case, one minute we have d ball, d next one or two minutes,d opponent have retrieved it |

jihday: i think he’s talking about individual players and I think he’s correct but as a team we aren’t good enough Well we can only judge a team collectively, not individually ....this is 7years of playing together,d basics are even lacking,we can’t just continue dis way.this guys are called professionals na,y shld simple passing d ball to each oda(holding possession wout losing d ball becomes a rocket science for our eagles).I don’t want to believe it has to do with coaching.most times when eagles play we look so disorganized and disjointed, B4,d complain we do av about eagles was not taking d game too serious ,playing to d gallery ,holding possession, showboating and all) but today’s eagle can’t even play together let alone of playing to d gallery,d standard is not dere again, abi na only me Dey c am dis way |

TheSuperNerd: Frank "The Tank" Onyeka vs Portugal yesterday:
45mins played. 32 touches. 25/28 accurate passes. 2 pass entries into Final third. 1 interception. 2 recoveries. 2 fouls committed. 0/3 ground duels won (only minus which is even unusual because he excels naturally in duels. He is "the Tank" for good reasons).
Onyeka registered more pass entries into the final third than Ndidi and Aribo combined in the game. *Ndidi played 45 mins. Aribo played 69mins.
I have my criticism of Onyeka's game observed overtime and it still stands but truth be told he did better than Ndidi and Aribo yesterday and it won't be the first time too that he trumps both in terms of SE Performances.
Onyeka's limited ball playing is still an issue in the long run but I will rather have him in my Midfield for his box-to-box plays and vertical driving traits than a Joe Aribo whose role just has to be redefined in our Super Eagles.
Aribo is no bonafide midfielder. We have to move forward with the truth
And mind you, this ball playing deficiency is not just a midfield problem. It is also a defence problem. Ekong on the ball too is quite under average. Akpoguma is not convincing. We need good ball playing CBs who also excel in the dirty aspects (or some) of the role. CBs who are also quite mobile. We looked too rigid at the center in defensive transtions. When I first said akpoguma na scam ,u guys tot I was too harsh ,he has never been convincing to me,I would even pick a bad ekong ahead of d guy,d guy is just dere, shi shi e no sabi |

drDoom3: Troost and Simon not good enough for this level.
For this game, remove Simon, put Chuks or Dennis in and move Lookman to the left.
Instructions should be route 1 Iwobi with Aribo and Moffi making runs in behind.
Portugal looking surprisingly vulnerable, we are just too fearful.
Long term we need two good centerbacks, both Troost and Akpoguma are not good enough. Simon should not be starting big games for the Eagles. Seems he is only good against non-technical African teams like Sudan, Sao Tome and Guinea-Bissau. Bro forget ,who to remove ,who to bring in Anybody placed on dt pitch won’t make any difference,so forget.the mystery about dis team I will keep hammering on is y can’t trained professionals do little basics of football, dis is over 7years of playing together and Dey can’t still string passes, coordinate game from d back to middle and to d strikers(simple transition)...den what exactly do Dey practice in training? In fact dis simple stuff doesn’t even need training, ordinary street football competition dt guys don’t train ,play simple passes btw each oda ,but our own so called world class professionals can’t do simple basics.it shldnt be dt bad |

TheSuperNerd: And remember, Okocha and Martins back then were actually picking competitive games. Not just friendlies.
But unlike them back then, Victor has hardly missed a competitive game for Nigeria be it home or away.
And if Napoli feels he is too important to be released for mere friendlies but won't hold him back from competitive games, then I don't think that's a bad idea.
Let's face it. He is Napoli's number 1 Talisman and he and that club are on the verge of history this season. It would mean the world to Osimhen to achieve such with Napoli.
On the other hand, he is also Nigeria's Biggest Player yet he is always available when it matters (Minus the Afcon incident which isn't his fault at all).
Osimhen is out for greatness in the Sport and there are sacrifices that must be made and if one of such sacrifices is not going head to head with ADL on being available for friendlies but only for competitive games then for now, so be it.
I reckon this might be Osimhen's last season at Napoli. So such may not continue elsewhere.
ADL is the issue here. Not Victor. Adl or no adl ,victor osimhen consented to keep him away from d friendly,na from dere e Dey start...well I can only blame our nff ,if Dey were upright demselves, all dis won’t happen I am sure both osimhen and adl can’t try dis with top footballing nation,Dey know d consequences won’t b nice |
