My own take on this issue is that the NLC endorsed Peter Obi as their candidate in the last presidential election even when they heard him say he was going to remove subsidy immediately he is sworn in. They neither challenged, opposed or withdrew their support for him on account of his stand on the subsidy issue. So this whole call for strike already has credibility issues. No matter what you do you are going to have people that will question the credibility and integrity of the NLC as regards the proposed strike action. |

Labour should just try and reach a truce with the government, because the proposed strike is already dented in the mocky waters of politics. There is already a school of thought that believe that the NLC as a part of LP is only seeking to distract the government. This notion is certainly not good for the labour unions as it will cast doubts in the mind of people as to the sincerity of the labour unions. |

Datti should please stop disgracing himself, he is making treasonable comments out of frustration. He should allow the law to take it's full course. He should not truncate our democracy. |
I don't understand why Obi is angry, Inec has always sided with their declared results in tribunals. It didn't start today. You petitioned Inec insisting that they didn't do their work well and you want them to agree with you. It doesn't work that way. In Tribunals Inec always stand by their decisions irrespective of the party involved. |
What goes around comes around, your wife in refusing your own mother from staying in your house, never thought that a day will come when her own mother will face the same plight. Stand firm and kill the idea of letting her come in. Not out of revenge but because it has already been established in your home that marriage is between a man and his wife. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. |
The ward excos are the ones with the powers to suspend any member of the party including the president. This is because every member of the party registered at the ward level. So those guys at the ward level are extremely powerful. Don't underrate them. ppogba: |
Suspension is usually done at the ward level, cos every party member including the president got registered as a member of the party at the ward level. Omofloflo: |
