Romance › Re: Why Infidelity Is On The Rise In Marriages by emerged01(m): 1:27pm On Jul 29, 2023
ebubeson:
Many men cheat, many women cheat.. Even some that have not cheated may have low resistance level if opportunities come.
So why the rise in infidelity in Marriages..
(1) Many sexual partners before marriage. How can you sleep with different people, do group sex, have different sex positions in your youthful days, and expect to have a sane sexual mind with just one partner in marriage? How can you be addicted to prostitutes and expect to be faithful when you marry? How can you be doing hookup and having nympo urge, and expect to be normal in marriage? Is it so easy?? Don't be carried away when people say "It was my past, I am changed"... Even guys and ladies still go back to EX to have sex..

(2) Social Media: Exposure to social media, such as hookup sites and other chatting and dating platforms has contributed in infidelity in marriages.. So a married person can do complete arrangement for adultery online before meeting the person physically..

(3) Lack of Contentment: When some guys want big hips, breasts etc over good character of their wives, and some ladies want big manhood, flashy or expensive things etc over responsible husband that is providing for them.
Men face a lot of temptation from the opposite sex. Even bible says:

Isaiah 4:1

In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, “We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace!”

In this kind of situation, what do you expect a man to do?

From a friend though

Am the last born in my family and there are too many ups and downs and wahala in my family because it was a polygamous home and my father was one of the man I mistakenly ever met on earth and unlucky for me he is my father 😭😢
So how I wish I should start my life with my own fresh lineage from my wife and children. Like I don't want to be part of the father tree again.

I gave birth 3days ago and I don't want my son to bear my surname 🤔 I want my own name to be his surname so my father lineage will be cut off
☹️

Please is there any future implications in this decision?
Or rather something bad behind this decision??

Thanks 😌
No implication bro but you should bear it in mind that your son will some day think that way too because it is no more ideal.
Romance › Re: Married But In Love With Someone Else by emerged01(m): 1:50pm On Jul 26, 2023
Mhistasaints:
I've been married for four years now, and it seems my wife has become a stranger.

We've been having issues from the first year, mostly on different styles of life.
I am a guy who loves managing resources and very focused on achievements because I was born with a silver spoon but lost it due to the death of my father, I never wanted to experience the same thing as I did when he died.
She on the other hand is comfortable and okay with what she has, not too bothered about achievements.

I've been calling for management of resources for a while but she's the type that grew up in a very comfortable home and knows not how to manage resources.

Another issue on my part is that, she does not really care about how she looks and that's one of the things I care about.

I lost, or should I say resigned from my first job due to pressure and things became hard. I had to sell some of my landed properties so we could survive.

I got another Job and in six months, I made millions. We lived well until I wanted to chase my passion in banking again.

Got back into banking and to cut the story short, I met one lady where I was sent to. I loved her. I wish I had met her first honestly. In a year, she showed me a lot in the kind of woman I wanted. Then I lost my job again, this time because I wanted to go for youth service.

I got back home and I told my wife the game plan. I bought foodstuffs for at least two months and went for camp. In less than a week, my mother called me and was angry why I left my wife and two kids hungry. I exeated camp immediately and came back home. After investigating, I found out she sent the food to her mother who is an associate professor, without telling me and while she knows out conditions.

I got so angry. I wanted her out.
I considered things because my second child which she had by force is just 5months. She had the baby because she stopped taking contraceptives because of advice from people that if she has a male child for me, I'll stay.
After much, she can't leave, because who will take care of the boy?

Yesterday, she read my messages and discovered I was having an affair and wants to leave. I told the lady off this morning but, I still loved her.

I can't allow that. Even if she does, she has to wait for the boy to be at least a year old. Remember she was the one that wanted this baby, not me. Now she wants to leave the liability for me?
And I can't allow my kids to grow with her because I don't want them to learn such lifestyle.

What should I do?
In what you wrote up here,I nearly see nothing wrong except your own heart is divided already.
Bro,she is not having affair nor she is a nagging wife. Bro,building a home is more than love,it takes wisdom Which I think you have not display by having affair and having the thought of destroying your home with your own hands.
Claiming you met a special being shows you are not handling the issue well. You should know you can only know a woman when she is under your roof. There is no proof that the woman you are seeing is better than your wife. Pls,just erase that thought and seek for knowledge to handle your home well.

A friend of mine borrowed some money from me and since then he has refused to return back my money. I still don't know why people can be so desperate when in need of some amount of money for something urgent/important but fail to return it ASAP.
1 No plan on how to pay back. They just borrow without plan of paying back.
2 some have the money to pay back but they are heartless.

If you are not married know that the discipline of children lies in the hands of both parents, reject ,"I will tell your dad" because it is a trap to set you up against your children. As your wife shows motherly love to them, by all means show fatherly love. You may not have the time to be close to them but let them be able to tell their friends,"my dad bought it for me". Show your love through gifts. Children like gifts.

Pls i dont understand,How will price of petrol goes down when dollar is rising everyday,is it not the same forex they will use to purchase petroleum products.I think it time for us to face the reality
The solution now is to start granting emergency licences to new investors willing to build refinery in Nigeria since the ones we have are not ready to work despite huge amount being spent on them
The government should allowed foreign investors to take over our 4 local refinerys with the petrochemical refinery since it can't be revived by Pdp and Apc government
The government should not depend on dangote refinery to be a major player on the this sector as another monopoly might set in.
What we should be thinking now is healthy competitors among our refinerys
Getting our refineries working by all means is the only thing that can pull us out of this mess. If not the price of fuel will continue to rise.

Bro,check my post again. Was I blaming citizens for bad refineries and lack of other infrastructures? All the factors for economic growth that we lacked as a nation put us where we are today. And who should we blame? Govt!!!

I really don't know what the opposition is waiting for to start a protest on the state of the economy.
Are the scared or they are actually in agreement with the ruling party concerning the direction the economy is facing
What we are seeing is truly the picture of Nigeria economy without stable power, lack of infrastructure and no working refinery. It is not about the govt of today. Now forces of the market is controlling the price of fuel. We are in for it because e go still go up.

You have kids, even if your name is not on his will, your kids name are so y worried?
Exactly! Calling her husband this man means a lot is going on in her mind. OP should learn how to control her anger.

The fear of some family members can warrant such thoughts in a woman. I cant blame her for having that kind of thought but there is a better way to go about it. She and her children needs to be protected by all means from dangerous family members in the event of eventuality.
